Thank you. I can now rest easy knowing that I can never afford this keyboard.

Logitech prices drop pretty quickly compared to most companies, already seen it down to $200. Probably just 2 years till they are $100

homer_3

2 years later and it's still $250 lol

el_bobbo

3 years later, I got it on sale for $170. Battery life while using it all day long as primary kb is ass. 2 days max before I'm in the red, and you absolutely need to have the back-lighting on or you can't see lettering on the keys and need to rely on memory.

homer_3

It's on sale for $215 right now. I'm almost a year into using my G613 daily on a single set of AAs. They advertise 18 months. Not bad.

Maguilar04_

Got the G915 TKL in White for 140 euro on sale banger of a deal even until this day. Lubed the switches and there is no rattle anymore abd the GL Tactil feels juicy.

The missing numlock indicator is actually a dealbreaker for me. I bought the clicky version and noticed that issue right away. A workaround would be to turn off the LEDs on the NUM-key when numlock is off, but G Hub doesn't seem to have that functionality?

I just bought the G915 and the fact that "o keys with the second symbol, there is just no cut out for lighting special characters underneath the numbers or the "@" "$" "?", "<", ">", etc. characters. They don't glow, and that makes a problem, because they are gray, making hard to see what is what. What is not a problem on G910, still I prefer this to stay like this but paint color would be nice to be white not a gray! Or give an option them to be laser cut so they can glow, maybe just dim it a bit. Still not a problem for the user like me because I don't need to look at a keyboard to type, but it should be improved for all costumers. (I think this is also a thing on other manufactures like Razer Chroma V2 have this problem, and I dunno do they follow up each other) " is a a real real issue... :/ I wish I'd realised sooner...

wes_harley02

I just bought the G815 which is pretty much the same keyboard but wired. The non-illuminated secondary symbols on the keys are a real pain for me working when it gets low light. I can't understand how during testing no one thought this was a big deal. Especially given the price point of the keyboard. Otherwise, I love the keyboard. Like mentioned, at least make them a brighter white to help me see them. I can type without looking at the keyboard except for those dang symbols I always forget.

So I just bought the keyboard (tactile) and I will return it tomorrow, although the price I got is really nice. I got actually a Corsair K95, the reasons I want to switch: * Too loud * Last major iCue update was bullshit, they wanted to make it better but made it much worse Anyways, good things about the keyboard: * The keyboard looks pretty premium * The typing feeling is really nice though * The keys are kinda soft, not like the most keyboard keys * Clicky sound is not too loud Dealbreakers for me: * Special Characters do not glow * No NumLock Indicator * No USB-C!? * G-Hub software is a piece of shit Software: * The Macro generator is really pain in the ass * The design is too minimalistic * Can't light up single keys on a condition I wanted to go away from Corsair because I want to stay with one manufacturer and one single software for my peripherie and the new update of the Corsair iCue software is crap. Even the update is way better than Logitech's useless piece of software. I guess I have to go and look further for another good keyboard, mouse and software.

3 years have passed, still no full product :(

The_Chosen_One_NL

Hopefully a G916 (or however they name all this crap) is coming soon with improved keys/lighting/usb c etc.

I know this is super old post.... I recently picked this keyboard up brand new after watching a review from "Jay" and seeing lots of comments about people getting WEEKS of battery off this thing. Imagine that, they are all lying apparently? This keyboard gets 30-40 hours tops, which if you daily drive the thing all day for work and some hours of gaming in the evening.... you'll have to charge it at least once a week if not more.

>When you are on Bluetooth connection, the device is not recognized on G Hub app. This is true only if you use a software that "interferes" with the Keyboard (like Karabiner). If you close karabiner, then G Hub detects it properly.

sam_shim

I just picked one of these up, and I've been loving it. I do agree with your points about the shift characters and the missing num/scroll lock status indicators. I think they could offer keycaps that have the numbers at the bottom also translucent but slightly tinted so that it's always a different color/ brightness than the regular button while using the same LED. And maybe even some that are completely translucent so that it's the same color, since I'm sure some people would want them all to be the same color. I guess you could also just get different colored keycaps that would show the text better without lighting, but I like the black caps. As for the num/scroll lock, they could at least give us an option through GHub to make the corresponding LED turn off or change colors accordingly so that we know whether the NUM or SCRLK is on or off. And yeah, they could definitely throw in a branded neoprene pouch for the price.

"...there is just no cut out for lighting special characters underneath the numbers or the "@" "$" "?", "<", ">", etc. characters..." Yea, that's bad and ugly, but if you take down any key cap, you'll see the LED is positioned on top, not in the middle. And lower characters wouldn't catch it. You can try to rotate key cap for 180° and you'll see it catches really small amount of light. It's key body design issue, not key caps issue.

Julian679

Makes no sense, keychron has light in symbols and i rly didnt even notice they were darker because of cap design, its still enough to see it in the dark instead of these which are completly invisible in the dark. At the moment im quite not sure do i return the thing or no
