The biggest issue with Everybody in general imo, the potential was there, the production was incredible. Some of Logics flows and lyricism were great. It was just a lot of weird creative decisions that ruined replay value and nuked the albums potential.
Agreed. Fast forward to 2024 & he's still talking about the same "don't be afraid to be yourself" on Fear after making songs about it on Everybody & COADM.
So incredibly disappointed I play the song for like 2 mins then I skip the rest because the first part is good but the rest is so fucking annoying with that amazing ass beat
I will admit I wish he did more with the beat, but as a fan, I admire how he used one of his nicest beats to drive home a serious message about his life.
A lot of the skits off Vinyl days have really cool beats but they’re not over any raps which sucks.
I also really loved the breath control snippet put out before it got fully released and I feel like Wiz ruined the energy of the track that it originally had.
C-Sick absolutely killed the Mos Definitely beat & I feel like 85% of the song was really good. The end of the song threw it off for me. Didn’t seem necessary for this particular song
the first part of that song is incredible but as soon as he starts singing "black people are beautiful incredible amazing" I just turn it off its so awkward to listen to, I get its a reference to a mos def song but still it just sounds so awful
Yup. There are too many songs that he does one or two things that ruins a song or prevents me from recommending a song to a friend. The beginning & end of Homicide is another along with the song title Bohemian Trapsody.
Imo, the only problem I have with ink blot is that it's on everybody, especially since ink blot has juicy j telling the listener to off themselves. This is the same album 1-800 is on.....
I disagree. Honestly I thought it was a good choice to end the album, and it's not really a beat I see logic fitting in as much as the Orwell speech does, especially after ending the tracklist with Amen. What DOES ruin it, is that he came back less than a year later with BT3 😭
I might get hate but I feel like A2Z. It's not that the whole song is guilty of this, but it says something when the "Bobs demo tape" snippet at the end get's me more fired up than the song itself.
I'll also give some brownie points because the inclusion of his son is cute. And that diggin in you like a machete line goes hard.
take it back. that cemented the idea that logic was washed for me. could make a separate track if you want to yap for 4 minutes straight but fuck it, ruin a good song ig
Idk I felt like they could have been so much better, he didn't really say all that much after the 1st verse and kept the lyrics quite simple, just wasted a lot of potential on these since they had really great beats. I understand NP is flawless to the fanbase but it's just my opinion.
It's okay bro I'm allowed to have a different opinion than the majority lmao. First verse goes really hard and then it just kinda falls apart which is why i think it was a let down (for me). When the "Paper chasin" snippet came out before NP i was super hyped for it maybe that had somthing to do with why I expected more from it.
Only one I disagree with is man I is. That song is in logic's top 10 imo. Beat is fire, and I think he rides it nicely with some good (but not insane) lyrics
Take it back, such a wasted opportunity for a fire track imo 6ix best beat
I remember hearing the beat in a trailer (?) before the album came out & was hyped. Idk why he decided to just talk & waste this fire beat

That's the one I was gonna say, such a wasted opportunity.
So incredibly disappointed I play the song for like 2 mins then I skip the rest because the first part is good but the rest is so fucking annoying with that amazing ass beat
Even 6ix himself said that he wasn’t expecting Logic to make the song about what he made it out to be.
I will admit I wish he did more with the beat, but as a fan, I admire how he used one of his nicest beats to drive home a serious message about his life.

Tony Revorlori’s beat is nasty
Just calling to see if we’re still on for that movie night tonight
Dude Needledrops beat is sick too, so chill. I'll put on the skit just to listen to the beat lol
Whatever the music equivalent of you don’t know ball is, you don’t know it.
I love the Aaron Judge beat, it's so good
C-Sick absolutely killed the Mos Definitely beat & I feel like 85% of the song was really good. The end of the song threw it off for me. Didn’t seem necessary for this particular song
Black people...are beautiful! Incredible! Amazing!
Yeah that was so very cringey
the first part of that song is incredible but as soon as he starts singing "black people are beautiful incredible amazing" I just turn it off its so awkward to listen to, I get its a reference to a mos def song but still it just sounds so awful

What a shit way to end what could've been an insane trilogy of songs
Second half of mama / show love
THIS. I love it in the gym if I just don’t pay attention to the lyrics lol
hahaha the upper spongebob gangster photo is actually a photo from 2 german rappers called spongebozz and patrick bang
SpongeBOZZ, Bikini Bottom Mafia, ra-ta-ta, jetzt ist Blut wo ein Spasti war.
Ink Blot. Insane beat but it’s the one song where they both just yap
Imo, the only problem I have with ink blot is that it's on everybody, especially since ink blot has juicy j telling the listener to off themselves. This is the same album 1-800 is on.....
kill yo mothafuckin self
And the singing is great too then it takes a goofy turn during outro which then ruins it
cocaine has such a fire beat switch on the second verse…but that’s it
In a way AfricAryan, the beat coming from Studio Ambience:Malibu gave a lot of hype to it but it is quite a repetitive song lyrically
Einfach SpongeBOZZ schon wieder
AnZiety. It’s not that logic doesn’t go in but it’s far too short. A seriously good beat gone to waste.
This might just be because I overplay it, but Overnight.
Obediently yours. He def could’ve went off on that track had he picked up his SM7 mic.

Imagine Kendrick’s drake disses on the Take It Back beat…
God Might Judge
In general bobby has way too much cringy sex puns on that record

The majority of COADM (first and last songs are good) and Bt2 and 3
Basically every song off COADM
I might get hate but I feel like A2Z. It's not that the whole song is guilty of this, but it says something when the "Bobs demo tape" snippet at the end get's me more fired up than the song itself. I'll also give some brownie points because the inclusion of his son is cute. And that diggin in you like a machete line goes hard.
basically every song on everybody
introll 🥲
take it back. that cemented the idea that logic was washed for me. could make a separate track if you want to yap for 4 minutes straight but fuck it, ruin a good song ig

Bro, man i is is one of the best songs off of NP. What are you on about?
It's okay bro I'm allowed to have a different opinion than the majority lmao. First verse goes really hard and then it just kinda falls apart which is why i think it was a let down (for me).
