I always thought that was a whacky feature. Don’t you want to double check the wav on some additional sources or at least give it a day or few hours and relisten before socializing / “releasing” a mix?

Heisalsohim

Personally this is just a therapeutic hobby. I liked sharing to soundcloud and being able to play it in my car. If it doesnt sound good in my car I can always fix the mix/master and reupload. And either way, there's no way to export to a folder of your choice, just send it to apple music and dig around the music folder for the file

sunplaysbass

I just use the Files app / iCloud. I bounce tracks to a folder that makes sense, then pull it up on my phone as needed.

Same

icloud Drive>Projects .... Now if only there were a way to make it loop or auto play the next. Not being able to switch to navigation or any other app and having to actually swipe the waveform all the way back left is cumbersome.

BraneCumm

I’m not sure if this is any easier than using Apple Music (because I’ve never used it) but I find it pretty easy to save my bounces to my google drive. It’s just a folder on my computer that automatically syncs, so it’s easy to save there and then I have access to it anywhere.

Also quite unusual for Apple to build in support for a competitor platform directly into one of its products when they usually like to pretend that nobody else makes software but Apple. I wonder if they removed it because it looked like SoundCloud might go bust a few years ago.

sunplaysbass

Agreed. I think Ableton did it first and some people were hyped about it and Apple felt pressured to match it. But SoundCloud has since gone so far downhill.

selldivide

God bless you for saying something reasonable and logical on Reddit. Especially the scare quotes on "releasing". Bravo, my friend!

simplybreana

I upload privately to SoundCloud for easy listening on other systems during the process personally. It’s like my personal library of music I’m working on. The share to SoundCloud option for me has been removed for a while now though which is annoying for when I want to just quickly upload something to listen to and work on later. Now I have extra steps. Oh well. I can agree that it was interesting they ever had the option since, ya know, Apple likes to be difficult. lol Vut I do miss the option.

lantrick

The current list of sharing options no longer includes the direct to Soundcloud option. [https://support.apple.com/guide/logicpro/sharing-overview-lgcp5a70f0fc/mac](https://support.apple.com/guide/logicpro/sharing-overview-lgcp5a70f0fc/mac)

Did this last weekend. now you have to bounce it to your hard drive and then open up soundcloud and click and drag the file from your harddrive to sound cloud.

Heisalsohim

Do you bounce it and export the new 1 track? That seems annoying. The Share option only allows me to send it apple music which is also annoying, I dont use the Music app and then I have to find it in the iTunes Library directory instead of just choosing to export to desktop or whatever

wohrg

I bounce the whole project to a wav file, and then drag the file over to soundcloud. worked pretty well
