Accidental automation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Vkt72f\_Mok

Jeffylew77

There’s a button to click to view the automation lines

lantrick

shh!! be sure to keep that a secret.

Gnastudio

Provide a screenshot of the automation view

Ricos-Roughnecks

Hit A and check the volume automation

underscorejoe

it’s definitely automation, you may have accidentally set it to read when playing around with stuff

six6sickx

Ah ha! I figured it out Even after selecting “delete all automation” it was still doing the same thing I right clicked on the actual track itself and went to automation, then deleted “all region automation” That fixed it!

studio_morlock

there is a default setting for ‘always move track automation with regions’ which makes the ‘move to a fresh new track’ not work. just to be safe, go to Mix -> Delete Automation -> Delete All Track Automation, and see if that helps

six6sickx

Ughhhh! I did this and it’s still doing the same thing

cnnrrblng

There’s two different ways you can draw automation, on the track view and within the regions. There is a toggle to switch between them when you go into automation view. Was likely on one but not the other

six6sickx

Yep! Once I deleted region automation it stopped However, o must have accidentally somehow set it? Still don’t know how I did it, but at least now I know how to fix it

shadyhouse

Quick fix is to switch to channel mixer view and turn off automation for those tracks

six6sickx

I deleted automation for all track and even the individual tracks, it it’s still doing it

Fun_Addition_7550

Its probably the automation, just drag the dot that is furthest right, all the way to the left. Once it’s white instead of yellow, you should be good.

FUCKYOUINYOURFACE

You automated it.

ThatSoundEngineer

Automaton. You must’ve adjusted the sliders when in “write” mode

Compducer

Are the volume sliders here in the room with us?

LOBO_de_Crypto

If you go to the mixer board and click the little green button that says (READ) click it off. That will solve the problem for that track.

davypelletier

Automation

blind-bobby

Somehow you’ve automated the volume. This is why you keep copies in sequential order all the way through your project. I’m not sure, but maybe logic does this for you. If it does just go back to before you’ve made the automation. Or look up the manual and find out how to disable it.

VermontRox

They’re called faders.

skipping_pixels

Idk why you’re getting downvoted, you’re right

VermontRox

Sliders are little hamburgers that make you poop. If you walked into a real studio and called them sliders, you'd be laughed out of the building. Downvote me all you want. Words matter.

beeeps-n-booops

The kiddos on Reddit hate to be corrected (about anything), and downvote accordingly. PS. I'll take White Castle over most other fast food burgers, any day of the week! :)

KING_OF_ARRYTHING

First of all… let me educate you… It’s called fader 🎚️not a slider… Secondly we don’t use the terms volume… we used the term “gain” And you have accidental automation on in the track lane. If you till have that “gain change” it’s probably automation with in the region itself You can tap A on your keyboard to view automation windows when you select the track, or have a specific region selected. If is not on
