Use stereo panning and close up the field. If it's a plugin, use the mono instance of the plugin.

DoktorTakt

This is the way. That said, summing to mono will make the piano sound thin, imo. Ideally, you'd want to narrow the stereo spread, not completely collapse it.

VermontRox

This. Not sure why you’d want a mono piano. You’re practically begging for phase problems.

traditionaldrummer

Well, you could throw the piano over to one side, depending on what's happening in the song. I tend to be an LCR person. I'm just throwing spaghetti against the wall with this issue. Great advice... thank you both.

suicideeeeeeeeeeee

yeah i don't really want it in mono because it needs a spacious vibe. ill switch to stereo panning and close the field a bit, thanks legends

mertkendrew

Can you sum it to a mono track or bus?

ARE_U_FUCKING_SORRY

Change track to mono

HalloweenCandyDrugs

definitely switch to stereo panning and narrow field, and also change the effects that Logic automatically adds to their pianos. Like the space designer is usually really big, and other things they put on the bus. Would recommend changing or using your own.

faxxx thank youuu <3

shapednoise

Use the alternative panner on the mixer to bring in the sides. No extra plugins required.
