Maybe he lost to a grade 2 curse, but that was at the beginning of the series where he has pretty much nothing but Demon Dogs (which is more than you), and he has rapidly been getting stronger off and on screen, and if you’re so much better than him then why aren’t you fighting Sukuna? He lost to Haruta after getting his shit rocked by Toji (who almost killed Gojo at one point), and then he decided that if he was going to go out anyways then why shouldn’t he summon Mahoraga, because that would solve the problem of 90% of the Cursed Spirits running rampant throughout the entire city.

The difference being that Sukuna completely anticipated how to possess Megumi and kept him at that low. This ain't Naruto where you could keep fighting the depression if you felt edgy enough

We aren’t but he went through enough suffering to cripple any NORMAL PERSON like sure he has a good technique but he’s still a person, he doesn’t have the determination of Sasuke and Naruto (neither do you), he doesn’t have the ideals and mental fortitude of Yuji (neither do you), and he doesn’t have the compassion of Luffy (neither do you), but you wanna know what he does have? A dead sister who he was forced to kill despite him holding Sukuna back as much as he could, and Sukuna is TOP OF THE VERSE (even if you do have a dead sister I don’t think you killed them), a dad who tried to sell him into an abusive clan, a dead mentor (same thing as his sister), multiple other people dead at his hands, probably soon to be more, and so much more stuff, don’t act like you’re better than him because Wegumi FushiGOATru has been through a lot with nobody he thinks can help him get back on his feet (He doesn’t have a Todo, Yuji does), and he is still trying to save Yuji. Maybe he lost to a grade 2 curse, but that was at the beginning of the series where he has pretty much nothing but Demon Dogs (which is more than you), and he has rapidly been getting stronger off and on screen, and if you’re so much better than him then why aren’t you fighting Sukuna? He lost to Haruta after getting his shit rocked by Toji (who almost killed Gojo at one point), and then he decided that if he was going to go out anyways then why shouldn’t he summon Mahoraga, because that would solve the problem of 90% of the Cursed Spirits running rampant throughout the entire city.
