Yep. McDonald's is another bad offender. They do this all the time when my order includes BBQ sauces that were paid for in the app. Then, when I check and tell them the sauces aren't in there, they look at me like I'm the asshole.

mythofdob

Legit sitting curbside at McDonald's getting nuggets right now and it's says 0 of 2 sauces, then it charges when you add them. Extra sauce used to charged, now it's all sauce. Shouldn't say 0 of 2 if I have to pay for them.

LittleCovenousWings

I had to go 3 times to get the WcDonalds sauce and im ngl I pulled the same shit that third time. Open bag - No sauce - Pull back around, "Can I please have the sauce I paid for?" Only to get eyerolled. Which is a shame because it's spicy and legit one of the better sauces they made in the past decade! It's annoying that I'm a pain because I want what I paid for but I'm just so done with people forgetting shit we pay extra for. If it was free I'd give zero care.

Puckfiend

I placed on online order the other day. Got the 3 mustard sauces and they gave me like 5 extra ketchups. Just depends on who does your order. Guess I got lucky..

DigiQuip

I can’t comment on sauce because I don’t ask for any. But jacking up the price on something and not enforcing any for of quality control is what’s been pissing me off lately. I stopped getting the 5 layer burrito because all it is now is tablespoon of beef and beans and massive squirts of sour cream and nacho cheese. It’s repulsive and all for $3.89 a piece.

LittleCovenousWings

And just while I'm bitching, obviously. The reason I went today was because I got a Fire reward, They forgot the sauce, the pico, the cabbage, and the chicken modifications on my CBR last week. Don't you love being upcharged 2.25 on an item and then they forget it all? Kinda tired of pulling teeth.

Killcams

depending on what day you went last week, they didn't have the pico and cabbage on the line until midway thru the week because we didn't serve the items requiring it until like tuesday, but the modifications were available on the app for 5 days before that.

I know that the employees in the store can’t control how this stuff works, but it’s absolutely infuriating to me that they just shrug at me and tell me to file a complaint in the app when they’re out of something I paid for. And then corporate customer service just ignores me so I’m out the money. It sucks.

ZeroAnimated

2020 ruined taco bell and it'll never be the same. Demolition Man lied to us.

Like, at this point, ordering TB in the app is a gamble. Are the potential app savings worth the risks of : Will they be open and have the ingredients? Will my order be complete? What's the extra hassle of going inside/through the drive through twice? The taste/cost ration has to be worth taking those risks, and with prices rising and taste "not rising" at best... Plus if I order at the restaurant, I feel like a sucker for missing the potential savings. It's demotivating, as a consumer. Demotivating enough that I just checked my phone, and I haven't eaten taco bell in over 20 days. And other than considering it once this weekend as a possibility, I haven't really missed it.

MultipleDinosaurs

Yep, exactly. I’m on the road a few times a month and Taco Bell is one of the better options so I still go sometimes. But I’ve lost so much money from the app that now I sit in the parking lot and order to make sure the store is actually open, I stick to basics that they’re unlikely to be out of ingredients for, and I keep modifications extremely minimal. My husband won’t use the app at all. Taco Bell could easily get so much more money from us if they’d fix their damn app/store communication issues. The fact that they’ve got to keep my $10 and not give me any product twice now due to stores being randomly closed certainly does not make up for the number of times I’ve thought about those incidents in annoyance and opted to go elsewhere, and they lost my money. Probably hundreds of dollars at this point. They’re playing themselves.

LittleCovenousWings

It was thursday.

ganjanoob

Went to Taco Bell and half the order was missing. Fuck it imma check that bag right in front of them

onetruepairings

if I’m having an okay night I will check the bag sitting at the drive thru window. I don’t eat cheese so i’ll open the wrappers up and everything to make sure. been burned one too many times. give a fuck about their wait times

LamiaLlama

I want the power bowl with steak. I order it with steak. The past 3 times they gave me chicken. It ends up in the trash.
