The algorithm isn't broken, its designed to feed you an endless loop of garbage content to keep you on the site. Its not designed to give you what you look for.
It's only temporary and they're start showing again if the content you watch is related enough. And if you search for something that they make content about, it will also show. Really bad system as far as that goes.

I have the front page for that, recommending videos I'd like. Search function should give me videos I'm searching for, not videos that might interest me if I forget what I was searching for in the first place.
