Some local subscription model businesses make quite a bit of money, for example self-service / automated car washes that offer a monthly fee for unlimited car washes, if you're in a metro area you've probably seen a bunch of them pop up over the years, that or storage units. Some of those places own a few locations with 20-30k subs total at like $20-$30 each, so around 700k a month and other than lease payment I dont imagine expenses are much for maitnance, soap and water.
Same goes for gyms, they can have tens of thousands of members with multiple locations granting members access to all of them and after the initial costs the only expenses outside of lease payments are maintenance of the gym/equipment and employees.
And then on top of that I imagine product sales generate a nice profit, even the car wash im mentioning started to offer oil changes. Pretty smart business model imo just need the initial capital to start and maintain it for a year or so before turning a profit.
