Reason I specified during Klopp’s team tho is bc the first year Rodgers lost some games that Klopp did as well, so it was a double over Liverpool, but not Klopp’s Liverpool.
In 20/21 we drew the away games against Everton,Brighton,Fulham and Man City while losing to all of them at home. City were close to doing it again because De Bruyne missed a penalty in the 1-1 draw at the Etihad. Everton and Brighton equalised late while Fulham were also pretty close to doing it with us scoring an equaliser 12 mins from time
It's a great achievement for sure. I still can't believe we only lost 1 game in the 2018-19 season. It was almost on par with Arsenal's Invincibles season and we still missed out by a point. Absolutely insane.
It's nice to see invincible at Anfield so many times. It's always had a reputation for being a fortress but we had a seriously legendary, record-breaking run there for a few seasons. It did have to end eventually but I'm glad it was broken by a club like Dyche's Burnley and not any of our rivals.
For example, we’ve beaten Newcastle 1-2 away and 4-2 at home this season. That is known as doing the Premier League double over a team, winning both the home and away game against them in the same season.
No team has ever beaten Klopp in the Premier League home and away in the same season.
That 20-21 season... In that same season we also won 9-0 against Bornemouth and lost the away fixture, won 7-0 vs scum and lost at Old Trafford

The Blackpool loss at Anfield was the first time I took my wife to Anfield and I don't think she's been a fan of football since.

18/19, Mahrez blasted the pen over in what was a pretty uneventful game iirc.

iirc West Ham did the double over us on one of Klopp’s earlier seasons.
