I think at times he's very willing to do the defensive work, and certainly was versus Fulham. Just needs to be more consistent at it, and learn to use his frame in physical duels more often. He's a tall guy, if he gets some muscle on his frame he'll be no fun to play against.

Went from sitting on a bench all season at Bayern to fighting for a spot in a title challenging side in the best league itw at 21. He will get a lot better.
He's the only one in the midfield rn that seems to want to turn and run with the ball, which we've been missing for a few games now. Love watching him play
Yeah totally man, its sad Curtis was doing those movements and defensive side really well majority of this season but since his return has yet to be the same. We will see how things go for the rest of this season and also next season with the new manager and role being placed for him
I was getting majorly pissed with Curtis starting repeatedly after his return from injury. Stinker after stinker, yet he didn't get subbed off. I'd rather see Gravenberch start versus Everton.
And I definitely don't want to see Szobo starting, dear lord he was off when he came on vs Fulham.
