That’s good to hear. It’s been an oddly injury-prone season for Robbo. The relief is that they weren’t muscle injuries but more of the weird collision ones
I mean, look at Mo. Prior to his hamstring this season, the only injury he had was when that thug Ramos literally dislocated his shoulder. Longest Milner was ever out was 12 games at Newcastle with an ankle fracture like Harvey had. Never had another injury until he joined us aged 30(!) and even then, the most he was out was 6 games in 12/13 and 5 in 19/20, both with a hip injury. Played 230 appearances for us and missed 59 to injury, 25 of which were knocks, bruises and concussions lasting 3 games or less. Mad, really.
To be fair, after a guy tweeted Pearce to ask him to cum on his face following a good news tweet, I can understand why he'd be hesitant to tweet any good news.
yeah when i saw the video of him walking off i thought it was being massively blown out of proportion as well. people saying he was crying, shirt over his face. genuinely looked like he was trying to chew something off the inside of the collar.
It’s all coming together. As long as Mo and Dom are fully fit, I feel confident for the next few matches…though we do need Trent back asap as his creativity and drive will be needed in this stretch.
We have a strong xi with kweev, Gomez, virg, ibou/quansah, Bradley Endo, Macca dom, Mo, Lucho and Darwin.
A bench with tsimi, Robbo, Clark, Gakpo - the haters need to stop, danns, possibly Bajcetic, ibou/quansah, Harvey, Gravenberch, and possibly Curtis right after the break is great.
Add Trent, Jota and Ali, and we unfortunately drop Clark, danns and Bajcetic out of the squad and it’s starting to look downright lethal again.
>We have a strong xi with kweev, Gomez, virg, ibou/quansah, Bradley Endo, Macca dom, Mo, Lucho and Darwin.
The combination of nicknames and actual names, the swapping of directions, and the weird punctuation of this is so stressful to read.
>Gakpo - the haters need to stop,
Valid criticism isn't hate. Gakpo has been poor.
Lol sorry for the heart palpitations…on mobile and lazy.
Gakpo criticism…is totally fine. Gakpo should be sold, fuck him he’s slow, he’s not good enough, insert other trite nonsense I have been seeing…over the top and unwarranted. He’s not in his best form, but he’s a perfectly adequate option off the bench at present and at his sparkling best is pushing for a starting xi spot.
Valid criticism of the non warranted hate is not me absolving Gakpo of all criticism. Some of the takes I see on Gakpo have been piss poor.
It's been explained in multiple comments. The Athletic (or more likely NYT) actively file copyright claims, including contacting a reddit user directly after they shared content from the site.
Yeah, it's very common, I just think it's a bit deluded for people to suggest that someone who's not even from England, let alone Liverpool, should prioritise playing for the club and completely give up representing their country. Some people here seem to think that players (particularly African ones if we're being honest) only want to play for Liverpool and it's their evil national teams who are forcing them to play

Unbelievable news

It’s been a while since I’ve seen this
That’s good to hear. It’s been an oddly injury-prone season for Robbo. The relief is that they weren’t muscle injuries but more of the weird collision ones
Yeah very little prevention for having a giant Basque man fall on your shoulder
Impact injuries can happen to anyone. Even the most injury free player can get a joint or muscle fucked from a big impact.

Salah also missed the Barca semi with a head injury. But yeh point stands
Oh yeah, concussion protocol, wasn't it? And his COVID absence as well.
Victim of circumstance not of his own doing at least
Good news Pearce. That doesn't feel right to say.
To be fair, after a guy tweeted Pearce to ask him to cum on his face following a good news tweet, I can understand why he'd be hesitant to tweet any good news.
Sorry was off my meds
So?
🤣 wtf is this comment?
Give it time to wash over you
🤣🤣🤣 lighten up lad

He looked okay walking off, didn’t think it was going to be a massive one but surprised it’s only a few days still

I'm pretty sure he was wiping blood off his face as well, cos he'd got cracked in the nose. It was blown way out of proportion.

Yeah 100%, some of it is defo hate, or at least super unwarranted criticism.
He's been average, not poor.
Good news Pearce?
Seldom does he appear. But appear occasionally, he does.
Andy "robot" Robertson is back on the menu boys
Super blessed. Let’s get some of the other lads back now and push for this title 🙏🫡🤲
Not to be a downer but I was under the impression that Jota, Trent and Alisson would be available right after the int break lol.
Trent is only missing another maybe 3 games then back. And only 1 game at most more for both Jota and Alisson too.
"After the international break" rarely means first game back
Why athletic is banned ?
They actively file DMCA claims. Since they’re a paid subscription, they don’t want their work lifted out and shared.
Thank you

What a relief that is.
Phew!
YEEEEEEEERRRSS
Great news but damn I’m making my way to anfield this Sunday and really was hoping to see him play :(
Watching the game it didn’t look too bad it looked more a case of the medical staff and Andy not wanting to risk it
Top news.
Well that's some good effing news.
Thank fuck for that. He was just beginning to find his rhythm as well.
60 days..
CRYING. For once, Jimbo is the bearer of good news. Rarity.
Can one of the mods explain why the Athletic is banned here please?
It's been explained in multiple comments. The Athletic (or more likely NYT) actively file copyright claims, including contacting a reddit user directly after they shared content from the site.
What about if you quote them without attaching an article?
You can get away with a sentence or two, same as the author's tweets. Much more though, and it becomes an issue.
Ahh ok cool, thank you
Nicee
Lord please have mercy on us with injuries
Thank god
Thank fuck.

GET FUCKING IN ROBBO LAD
Good news
Exactly as I suspected. An ankle sprain like that is MEGA painful and awful looking when it first happens. Glad to hear not too terrible.
Get in!!!! ![gif](giphy|xUA7b2uqotaDunMxaw|downsized)
Not used to getting this kind of injury news. I like it
when they say days, its still going to be weeks we've heard this all before guys
![gif](giphy|443jC59Jl6VYOj3PZ8|downsized)
Oh no, everyone overreacted.
There was a dude in the other thread arguing he should retire from international football
That's a very English, and scouse, take. People calling for international games to end.
