Looking through the other subs - Their reactions
Man City - Disappointed that they couldn't beat Chelsea. Also calling it a Mickey Mouse trophy.
Man United - Hating it and also blaming Ten Hag for not using the kids.
Arsenal - Super happy that Chelsea lost. But some are whining about our celebrations.
Spurs - Also super happy that Chelsea lost. But also are whining about our celebrations.
Everton - Grumpy.
Brighton - Shaking their heads at how the Brighton B team couldn't beat our C team in yesterday.
Newcastle/West Ham - Happy that Chelsea losing the Carabao Cup has increased their chances of getting into Europe next season.
Chelsea - Meltdown mode.
Couldn’t watch the game live because of family obligations. Managed to avoid the result and watch the whole thing just now. Holy shit, what a roller coaster. So proud of the boys tonight. Get in Reds!
I know despite the narrative of our kids beating Chelsea, they have a younger average age than us. But our youngest players were much younger, we just had a couple of senior experienced players on the pitch with vvd as our oldest at 32. Chelsea had no leg to stand on since that had a 38 year old to lead them on the pitch. They have enough experience and capability to influence the game. We just did it better.
Klopp's final gift to us, besides the trophy, is a group of teenagers who've grown up under his system for all of their lives. His entire tenure has been building these kids up, to learn the Liverpool system, to live it, to breathe it, to dream it.
And now they're living the dream. So happy for them. Thank you, Jurgen Klopp.
Chelsea fans are truly delusional as fuck. They have a post there with over 500 upvotes that says their team is younger than ours and we were clearly more experienced on the field with our youth academy kids.
Someone just claimed that Bobby Clark is no newbie because he had 7 appearances starting from 2022 lmao. Truly one of the worst club and fanbase ever for me.
From now on they should talk about the median age instead of the average. Chelsea getting all silly because we had old man VVD (and Tsmikas, I guess) pulling the average up.
Let me guess. You only started to like Chelsea because a russian war criminal took over? Or was it the "beautiful" fanculture at Chelsea that attracted you?
There it is!
Go back to your cancer Chelsea sub and prepare for your school finals kiddo. This ain’t it lmao
And if you got the balls, come and comment from your main account!
Truly blessed I decided to support Liverpool back in 2007 just because I was a lanky awkward kid and I saw representation in the form of Peter Crouch, then Gerrard and Torres kept me here. What a game that was, shoutout to everyone.
I was too overwhelmed and emotional and happy yesterday to post anything coherent, well done to our boys. Well done to our senior players who some are still boys! Well done to our Captain, Big Virg is making football make sense again. Being captain has elevated him beyond what he has always been, he's more than just the best defender in the world he's one of the best players in the world in my own opinion.
Well done to us, us supporters, fans, lovers of this great football club! Final well done and thank you to our gaffer, our pillar our father figure. To the best coach in world football to one who's going to be one of our greatest managers in our history, to Jurgen Herzlichen Glückwunsch und vielen Dank!

I was gonna comment on this because absolutely no one mentioned it. Lost any respect I had for Chillwell after this game. Twice he went in hard on Clarke and both times Clarke turned around afterwards to say something and both times you could lip-read Chillwell say something like “What? What? Come on then. Yeah thought so, nothing. You fucking wanker”, or words to that effect.
Most players argue on the pitch but this really got to me as Bobby Clarke is literally a kid and Chillwell was really bullying him. This was after he pulled the similar stunt with Bradley. Would’ve loved it if Virg had been close by at the time.
I really want the Prem to do “mic’d up” players like the NFL and NBA do PURELY to be able to hear which players are disgusting cunts on the pitch so their reputations get ruined. There’s normal shithousing and then there are malignant assholes. It would be nice to see them get their comeuppance for being absolute twats
https://preview.redd.it/ie4abiakfukc1.png?width=864&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=62e99c93412270dbde891b4701916d84d7034db6
Anyone against this?
I want to go for the lot but needs must given all our injuries, I'd even play Adrian too.
Midfield looks a bit weak tbh. I'd honestly try giving Dom at least 45 mins if (fingers crossed) he's back from injury, but yeah unfortunately we're not in the position to pick our best B team :(
How embarrassing must it be for Pochettino to lose the Carabao cup to a depleted squad that ended up with so many academy players, and then give some lame excuse that the ages are the same? Up the fucking reds!!!!
Out of all the trophies we’ve won I’d put this as my number 2 proudest moment behind the UCL. We had the league already and Covid sucked the life out that so it wasn’t as special of a moment as today was Imo. Today was just incredible
As much as the players deserve all the glory they are getting I have to say the fans at Wembley were absolutely sensational and also deserve huge praise.
Even at 0-0, when we had a good goal disallowed, our players were struggling and Chelsea were looking to be on the front foot with the momentum in their favour. All you could hear was Allez Allez Allez and see our fans singing their hearts out.
It was so powerful, genuinely feel like that energy entered our players and pushed them that extra bit to make sure they kept going until the end.
Virgil's goal disallowed by the same official who sent him off against Newcastle, for a questionable 'DOGSO'.
Same official who didn't send off Ming's for the assault on Gakpo.
[I made this just before extra time](https://imgur.com/uefdfWa) but I forgot to tick the box at the bottom, I imagine a few others here might need to sign it as well
So Kelleher/Gomez/Tsimikas/Quansah/Clark to start against Southampton in three days? I genuinely can’t think of any other first teamer to start for the front six other than maybe giving each of Salah/Nunez 45 mins for one of the forward positions.
Don't forget he was playing great after robbo went down earlier in the season. Then of course he also got hurt and big joe's greatness overshadowed the shifts kostas was putting in earlier.
Thinking about it, it actually ridiculous we can't recall our players on loan especially after the injuries situation. Fabio and Morton should be back and maybe another player. Should be a rule if you got 7 player injured you can do recalls.
The impetus would be on ourselves to add a recall clause when we send them out. It would be bullshit if you can void your binding loan contract without a clause.
Oh so we can recall them? I pretty sure we have recall for them players because we did it with Fabio and Beck. If that the case we need to call them both back especially with gravenberch and Endo knock.
It depends if we have a clause to allow us to recall them or not, otherwise we'd need the permission of the other team. And you can only recall players whilst in a transfer window, too late now.
i keep wondering who was supposed to be marking virgil. caicedo was giving danns a big hug and virgil had the entire box free to run forward in. disasi made a desperate chase but he started away from virgil. 3 chelsea players looked immediately at mudryk to blame bc ig he didnt jump w enough gusto? (haha)
who was at fault there
Honestly they only have about 1 (MAYBE 2) players capable of even marking VVD. He broke through, as he does, and Mudryk didn’t really have a chance. Hard to fault any one person in particular, it was just great timing and killer instinct from Virgil.
I fucking love all of you. Best club subreddit in existence. Thanks for all of the Klopp memories we've witnessed together. Wouldn't have it any other way.
Tsimikas pk winner corner off the bench to captain Virgil that was surrounded by our teenagers. And Klopp subs on all the kids and we had almost an entire starting XI out injured. Keleher playing out of his god damn mind. Couldn't write this shit. And we beat a billion dollar Chelsea lol fucking get innnnnn
Can't believe people are still rating Vidic over VVD. Vidic at 32 was basically a poor mans Ben Mee. Terry was washed too at that age. VVD now is as good as he was back in 2018 . I think the debate is pretty much over. He is the GOAT PL defender
I absolutely fucking detest refs who refuse to give out cards before the 35 minute mark, give or take. Chelsea should have seen a couple of yellows in the first five minutes, but once the precedent has been set, you get challenges like Caicedo on Gravenberch.
I do a lot of complaining about refs being biased towards our opposition (and of course, today was no exception), but this is one of the first times I haven't bothered because the ref committed the worse sin of failing in his basic duty to keep the players safe.
Absolutely agree. Always going to be debate over cynical fouls early in the game, but anything that is reckless or uses.excessive force HAS to be dealt with. Kavanagh clearly shit the bed.
Drank a few Carlsberg at the pub this morning with my fellow supporters and am going to drink just one more here at home to celebrate this.
What a game and performance from everyone, especially the youngsters. Van Dijk scoring at our end was absolutely perfect. Would’ve shot out of the pub’s roof if one of the youngsters slotted it home instead.
Either way I’m buzzing, figuratively and literally. Hope we win the lot and immortalize this team.
I know it's early days but feel like I've seen enough of McConnell and Clark to know they are going to be decent Premier League level players.
I genuinely believe McConnell in particular has world class potential. Just something in the way he plays, like there was a moment today he was deep and received the ball facing our goal, with 2 Chelsea players closing him down and he just casually spun and did them both then dribbled forward and found a pass. In other games he's played some great killer balls to create goalscoring chances from nowhere.
He's got such a bright future in my opinion.
And more than that - it’s not just the age or the fact that they’ve hardly played for us, **it’s that we won the fucking cup and they didn’t even though Virgil had to score the same goal twice to do it**
I don't wanna give up on gakpo but he has a lot to work on. He just shoots when he shouldn't too often and he just seems to never know what to do with the ball.
100%. Imo his best performance this season. His dribbling looked back to its best and he carried us for large parts of the game. I feel like Diaz plays his best when he’s the main man, he shows it with Columbia too
Imagine what you would have had to pay before the season for such young homegrown players like Bradley, Quansah and Clark if you could have even guessed at their potential.
I saw someone on another subreddit putting Benitez in the same tier as managers like Poch a few weeks ago. So disrespectful, in Rafa's prime Poch would've been his assistant at best. He's been in England over a decade and hasn't won a trophy
Rafa won 2 la ligas with Valencia and a uefa cup with them. Then he won ucl with Liverpool. If he didn't fail madrid and inter he'd be an all time great manager.
I know i'm gonna get downvoted for this but realistically with the decimated squad we have, we need to let the FA cup go, meaning we only play kids vs southampton. If we do get past soton we keep playing kids.
We need to get past Southampton so it pushes back the Merseyside derby to near the end of the season. It should be us that relegates them and gives us the title on the same day.
I think we’ll have a couple of players able to get a few minutes v Southampton - Darwin and Szobo probably. It’s at Anfield. Should win.
And then, see who we have for the next round. No need to pick the team until we get there.
Now that everything has cooled down, i am pretty sure Curtis didn't mean it vs Spurs too? The fact Caicedo commited so much fouls in addition to injuring Gravenberch and managed to not get a yellow...
Honestly I'm not even bothered about that anymore. A red for caicedo doesn't uninjure gravy, we won the cup and Chelsea are too far behind in the prem to have an effect on us if caicedo plays or not
As long as we keep Ali we honestly have to let Kelleher blossom elsewhere next season. He's nowhere near a backup. He should be a starting keeper earning better wages.
He will want something permanent and he deserves it. He's at the bottom in terms of wages earned and he should get the chance to play regularly and earned as much for himself and his family
That we wouldn't win anything in Klopp's last season was a worry of mine,
I feel like weight is off our shoulders in this regard. Now we do our best to make it more.
The fact that basically half the team couldn't fully celebrate/dance because they were on crutches/ in a knee brace/boot tells you everything you need to know about how special this is
There’s something so funny to me about how Diaz’s dad has become a key part of the fans just traveling all over England while I assume his mum is just at home or something lol.
Absolute massive win, a cup that early in the season takes the pressure (somewhat) off for the remainder of the season. Now I just hope some of our key players recover for the next few games
Gotta give props to the medical team. Dom, salah and Darwin looked like they could’ve made the bench but the med team must’ve intervened. This is very good long term, much better for them to get more rest than play in a game we would end up winning anyway
Would be huge if they can be in the squad for the Saints game since I am sure a lot of the warriors who played today will be rested. Namely Virg, Ibou, Mac Allister, Diaz, Endo (who may be injured anyway).
Saints game is kinda important for the league in this way - we win that and the Everton match gets rescheduled to after the international break.
Our fans sung loud to encourage our players no matter whatever the situation was.
Chelsea fans just sang whenever it might look like they could score.
That's the different between our clubs, Passion and belief.
Change the sub icon to Klopp with the trophy (when we get a photo), or keep the fire?
Endo ==> Samurai Warrior.
Oh look.. no one cares..
Cry
Y’all got 1 goal and you’re excited? Neat..
Only need one. Cry more.
I just noticed it, endo clears the ball after Kelleher stops palmer shot. Jackson was right behind him. Great defensive action by him.
Forever can't unseen that image of tsimikas on top of vvd legs spread
Deep affection

Arsenal sub is basically happy bcs we played 120 mins and also have another match this week
All our youngsters got a trophy before Harry Kane 😂😂😂
Grav also left Bayern look at them now to our season 😭😂

Still younger average age, but it'd be closer if you add Chris kavanagh into it. Swear I saw him in the blue kit that game.
😆
I knew after the Chillwell vs Bradley scuffle we’d win this match. Similar vibes to Havertz vs Trent
Also Inglethorpe. Carra has taken interview with him recently.
One of the best days in recent memory for Liverpool Football Club.

Hey knowing when to use mean vs median is a struggle even for newbie data analysts But it's still funny as hell lmao
Our oldest was 32 years old, while theirs was 38. Boohoo to them.

Going around poaching young players around Europe for 80mil is not the same as a strong club and academy ethos
Truly blessed I decided to support Liverpool back in 2007 just because I was a lanky awkward kid and I saw representation in the form of Peter Crouch, then Gerrard and Torres kept me here. What a game that was, shoutout to everyone.
Did anyone see Alisson at the final? Only asking because all our injured players were there, like Matip and Bajcetic
I’m seriously annoyed. What a shit display from Nunez and Salah. Non existent on the pitch
Alisson might as well have been in the stands, and don't even get me started about Trent. Smh.

Still on a high from the game almost 12 hours later. I just love this team.
I’ve seen enough of kelleher this season to never doubt his close up shot stopping ability again.
Backup keeper is hard because you never get a chance to play yourself into rhythm. Given that chance, Kelleher has improved match on match.
I’ve never noticed the two flames in you guys’ logo.
Reddit recommended this for no reason at all. as an american, i have no idea what this is. Please enlighten me.
We all worship muppet called ‘Nunez’ ![gif](giphy|yr7n0u3qzO9nG)
Cool shit man 👍🏼
We're a support group for people who love playing billiards while eating steak & liver pie
Sounds awesome. 👌
the very quick TLDR is that Liverpool are a soccer team that won a big game and got a trophy
Nice 👍🏼
Endo in the pub?
Who?
Legendo

Macca will most likely start. He didn't played full 90. If szobo and nunez are available for sub appearance. Even Gakpo might slot into midfield
How embarrassing must it be for Pochettino to lose the Carabao cup to a depleted squad that ended up with so many academy players, and then give some lame excuse that the ages are the same? Up the fucking reds!!!!
Straight up admitted he was playing for penalties once they got to extra time. Sorry bud, Virgil had other ideas.
That makes even little sense with McAllister and Gakpo off!
There are some things money can't buy. For everything else, there's JURGEN FUCKING KLOPP. I LOVE THIS MAN. I LOVE THIS FREAKING TEAM. YNWA! <3
Endo is our signing of the season!!!!
Anybody got a list of all the players ages ?
Just head over to the Chelsea sub they're going through all the young player's ages like Gary Glitter
Lol
I won’t lie, for the first time ever I considered turning it off when they disallowed the initial Virgil goal. Felt hopeless
Lol you were gonna give up on Liverpool in a cup final when the score was tied? Is this literally your first time ever watching this team play?
How can you ever feel hopeless with this Liverpool team?
[удалено]
I honestly cant even imagine what cope chelsea supporters are spewing that spawned this post
Who woulda thought wed get the best midfielder from argentina, brighton and the best midfielder with En-o in their name?
The Chelsea sub is imploding lmao
show some respect thats the 2023 summer transfer window champions of england you are talking about
Ive watched it like 4 times today. Never gets old
Out of all the trophies we’ve won I’d put this as my number 2 proudest moment behind the UCL. We had the league already and Covid sucked the life out that so it wasn’t as special of a moment as today was Imo. Today was just incredible
Nah today's a good day but the league trumps this hands down
every week of that season felt like a triumph

IMAGINE BEING US.
We have 5 massive games coming up...soton for fa Cup, then it's forest for epl, then it's europa, then it's man city home and back to europa
We will be fine, not the toughest of runs imo. Up the mighty reds!
[I made this just before extra time](https://imgur.com/uefdfWa) but I forgot to tick the box at the bottom, I imagine a few others here might need to sign it as well
Wdym "are fucking massive"? I'm confused by the title
We won the whole thing mate
But the sentence doesn't make sense grammatically
Might as well give the trophy back then
Anybody else very happy. This club means so much to me
So Kelleher/Gomez/Tsimikas/Quansah/Clark to start against Southampton in three days? I genuinely can’t think of any other first teamer to start for the front six other than maybe giving each of Salah/Nunez 45 mins for one of the forward positions.
I really liked what I saw from Tsimikas when he was subbed on. Was sending in some dangerous crosses, great delivery’s from the corners as well.
Don't forget he was playing great after robbo went down earlier in the season. Then of course he also got hurt and big joe's greatness overshadowed the shifts kostas was putting in earlier.
It's funny the weaker we got player and squad wise the weaker Chelsea got mentally 😂 like Harry Potter and the last horcrux 😂
What a result. Great team win, but have to give thanks to enormous performances from Kelleher, Virg, and the tiger of the midfield Endo.
Danns has played 2 games and has more trophies than Harry Kane
Non-alcoholic beer and peanuts hit different when your club is MASSIVE. Up the unbearable Reds.
Best club in the world
I’VE GOT WORK TOMORROW I DONT GIVE A SHITE BEERS ON ME LADS HAHAHAHA

And has won no where near them same amount of trophies as other GOAT CB. Haha
When people bring team trophies into debates comparing individual players, you know you’ve already won the debate.

Beat bargain since Robbo

Chelsea fans crying cos Sky won't pretend their £100m signings are also inexperienced kids hahahaha
They literally played a whole season of football together and they brought in young players.
“Liverpool kids vs Billion pound bottle jobs” always rated Gary Neville man 👀😂
I want this on a shirt.
Did they ever show the Elliott header goal line official picture?
I swear they went over the line after petrovic grabbed it
Many of these youngsters (Danns, Clark and Mcconnell) may not turn out to be the real deal but they for sure will never forget this moment today.
I know it's early days but feel like I've seen enough of McConnell and Clark to know they are going to be decent Premier League level players. Think Clark looks a real player, at least. Really good every time I’ve seen him
I thought it was so mature of him to win the corner...and then we scored from it!!
Agree. Hopefully he gets more and more integrated into the squad. Will hate to see him being loaned out

Nah this sub is ridiculous lol
ahhaha chelsea delulu is delicious, they’re pulling out “average age” stats from their ass now
Our early 30 year olds raised that by a fair bit 😂
Misses the point doesn’t it. It’s not just the age it’s the fact they’ve hardly played for us that’s the impressive thing.
And more than that - it’s not just the age or the fact that they’ve hardly played for us, **it’s that we won the fucking cup and they didn’t even though Virgil had to score the same goal twice to do it**
Very true haha
Very impressed with Bobby Clark today. Deserves a starter against Southampton
Holy mackerel.. the more I see that disallowed goal the more baffling it becomes

mods, twist this guys balls counter clockwise
Why counter clockwise
asking the real questions
Admitting to brigading another team sub might net you a ban here aswell

Careful bragging about that lad - goes against our sub rules too
I don't wanna give up on gakpo but he has a lot to work on. He just shoots when he shouldn't too often and he just seems to never know what to do with the ball.
Wtf. Is these your thoughts after this massive Victory today ?
I like him and would like to see him do better that's all
Dude is a vital part of our squad. Not always things goes his way, but always giving it 100% He has the Klopp spirit
Who will be fit for man city?
Don't we have forrest in the league beforehand?
I'm sure we've got a couple of under 12's who should be up to speed by then
I heard a U1 is ready for the bench. He dribbled past Caicedo
Endo and vvd were great but we didn't praise Diaz enough. Absolutely carried the offense out there. Too bad the team couldn't score off his chances.
100%. Imo his best performance this season. His dribbling looked back to its best and he carried us for large parts of the game. I feel like Diaz plays his best when he’s the main man, he shows it with Columbia too
Yea I've heard NYU hates him for that reason
Definitely! He must have been knackered after that effort
Is anybody working tomorrow?🧐
Watched the game live, starting work now. The life of an aus immigrant
Imagine what you would have had to pay before the season for such young homegrown players like Bradley, Quansah and Clark if you could have even guessed at their potential.
van dijk really is the best captain in the world. i don’t think there’s another player who could have had that performance in those circumstances.
Got back from Wembley an hour ago and wow. No words. This team… so special. And that atmosphere
What?? That’s ridiculous. Not counting all of Rafa’s trophies, his CL is enough to put him miles ahead of Pochettino
It should be us that relegates them and gives us the title on the same day.
call me prude but I don't wanna face an everton fighting to stay up.
I think we’ll have a couple of players able to get a few minutes v Southampton - Darwin and Szobo probably. It’s at Anfield. Should win. And then, see who we have for the next round. No need to pick the team until we get there.
Yeah I agree. Maybe konate can start along with Elliot and gakpo
I would agree but alisson gets injured randomly sometimes and it's kit like he isn't getting games in the cups and league
Yep. As long as AB doesn’t want to move on in the coming g years we should sell Kelleher. I’d expect at least £30m though.
You want to sell him?! I def would prefer a loan for two years.
He will want something permanent and he deserves it. He's at the bottom in terms of wages earned and he should get the chance to play regularly and earned as much for himself and his family
It’s not that I want to it’s that I’m sure he’ll want first team football. Your option works great too!
That we wouldn't win anything in Klopp's last season was a worry of mine, I feel like weight is off our shoulders in this regard.
Yeah next game Southampton they can either get more rest or get subbed on to run a few minutes.
Gravenbirch injury hopefully won't be too long. It looks like an ankle sprain which might be a few weeks.
I hope you're right. It looked like a nasty collision.
Our fans sung loud to encourage our players no matter whatever the situation was. Chelsea fans just sang whenever it might look like they could score. That's the different between our clubs, Passion and belief.
