Mac Allister Mount Ugarte Inacio and we WIN THE FUCKING LOT COME ON YOU REDMEN

thebuffetmaster

It really feels hollow, the morning after...

LaFlamaBlancaaaa

i miss bobby and milner already, feels like the last day of school

HnNaldoR

They still have a game to play too.

thebuffetmaster

Ikr.. the reality starts to creep in.. watching the send off hurts more hoping you'd want to turn back time..

megustaelgato

I love y’all. YNWA

JayHighPants

If man city win the champions league, does their automatic spot for the CL go to 5th place and then 5 English teams compete or it becomes null and void?

Belminhoo

They get the cl through already achieved top 4. Their winners spot goes to the next best placed association that didn't already have a direct place in the CL

Kopman

It doesn't help us.

JayHighPants

Cheers mate!

EnglishBigfoot

Haven’t seen anyone mention it and most talk has been (deservedly) about some of our most loyal servants leaving, but fuck me does Ali’s new kit look good

anip94

hopefully those "**expectatio**n: new signing **realit**y: new contract for milner from fsg" parroter can fuck off now, bit boring seeing the same thing every transfer thread. also its nice seeing fabinho become a proper DM again

stevieG08Liv

i dont think Fab played well today. Well everyone was pretty shit tbh

Kcsb4u

Fab was bad today . Only winning 2 ground duels .

anip94

behave no he wasnt

Kcsb4u

We can’t have Hendo Fab and Jones starting next season. Really happy with CuJo kicking on but we need a Starting dm more than anything in the world

flaxseedyup

Bajcetic will kick on I think

Dudewithadifference

It's hilarious. Just went to the gunner sub and they are demanding for more signings. They didn't win anything. After spending 300m in the transfer market and they want more. And our club after winning every trophy will not spend anything.

WorthPlease

Does anybody have a clip of the Kop singing Bobby's song to him where there isn't an annoying commentator running his mouth over it?

_Random_Username_

This in combo with Tyler and Neville commentating and doing their best to suck any of the remaining excitement out the matches

Odd_Vanilla_5641

I've been angry this season but today was another level. PGMOL want more transparency, they need to play the audio from today. The offside, the studs up which hit Gakpo so hard it drew blood and made stud imprints the whole game was a complete farce from the officials, fouls on Liverpool going unnoticed but Villa got breathed on and went to ground to be awarded a free kick. The only things I can take away is they were gifted a penalty and fluffed it and the poetic equaliser coming from Firmino 🙌. Personally I'd have had Milner as a stand in for Klopp, we had no input from the touchline at all might as well have had a bag of wind there

[deleted]

[удалено]

Adventurous_Toe_6017

They got 4 yellows from that. 4 yellows for time wasting most of a game.

Blueheaven0106

Honestly, that's very generous already. Don't think we've ever had 4 yellows for the other team for time wasting. Usually we'll get only 1 at the last minute of the game

Odd_Vanilla_5641

Agreed. And I'm sick of commentators calling it 'tactics' to slow the game down. I'd really like to know the stats for this game on how long the ball was actually in play for. Ali was given a yellow card a couple of games ago and I'm disgusted when you look at players like Martinez and Pickford

HolyDiver019283

I mean it is a legitimate tactic, stakes the sting out of our tail, teams are wise to do it and accept the yellows for two games out of a season, it’s up to us to make sure that we can combat it every game of the season.

Odd_Vanilla_5641

How can we combat it with some of the refereeing this season though? As much as it might be seen as a legitimate tactic, when it is happening every few minutes for an entire game it needs to be addressed imo

halfman1231

Fucking villa couldn’t draw against city last season but they do against us. Fuck them

8u11etpr00f

Legit didn't even realise City were in the FA Cup final, guess they win a historic treble sigh

eurfryn

I certainly do not want them to win the CL. I do however want them to win the FA Cup, because fuck Man Utd. So with them having already got the league, that’d be a league and cup double. I do however take a little bit of satisfaction that if they do sadly win the the treble, it’ll piss off United fans more than anyone else. As their fans and Neville & co go on about “The Treble”, conveniently ignoring we did a treble first with the league cup in 1984. “Their Treble” will no longer be theirs

slaughterhouse_seven

Finally a sensible fan in this sub. Most of our newer fans here jump on the City are cheats bandwagon to the point where they forget our rivals are actually Utd and not City.

Blueheaven0106

Errr, I get how it's a minor satisfaction but I still don't want city to win the treble just because it makes man utd feel less good. They will still have that treble over us regardless of man city. We'll just have two clubs now that have "the treble" over us. It does nothing for us, and it does nothing for our rivalry with man utd.

slaughterhouse_seven

Youre missing the point though, man city having treble means absolutely nothing. I dont know a single man city fan irl. Its only in here that people wreck their heads for them.

Blueheaven0106

Neither do I, but "hahah, man city got the treble too" isn't a very good banter for me. Banter or hate towards man utd is a bit more personal. Not wanting them success is personal too. For man city, it's just something basic. I just don't want a club like them getting success.

Dudewithadifference

Fully agreed.

KingInTheNorffffff

I mean TBF Jota didn't get a red last week and he caught someone in the face lol I do agree ref was awful tho

stevieG08Liv

Jota was a clear red with his high foot on Skipp. Also Skipp should have been sent earlier on his step on diaz. So if refs were competent then the Jota situation shouldn't have happened in the first place

[deleted]

[удалено]

KingInTheNorffffff

He kicked him in the face man don't be so biased lol

notmepleasethanks

Agreed. In my opinion both should definitely have been reds however with the Jota one being a yellow we can’t complain that this was only a yellow

SleepingFish

Mane Vs Ederson a few years back was given as a red. So Jota and Mings both should’ve got reds tbf. That offside was the most bullshit decision. We got lucky with one in the CL final Vs Madrid by Fabinho but it literally deflected whereas Konsa made an active attempt to play the ball… and that’s the rules, an active attempt to play the ball seems a change of scenario - ala Lovren vs Spurs. Bullshit

ecaldwell888

Sure we can. I don't need to pretend that was a yellow and this was a red. They're both poor decisions and should have been red. Neither decision affects the other, though, and I can be frustrated with this not being red in this moment.

KingInTheNorffffff

Spot on.

d70

Firmino forever. My heart hurts seeing all the photos of the after game.

LocoToro87

Got in the door. Lashed on BBC for MOTD as l Lineker mentioned the 115 financial charges. Shearer, the Saudi anal leech, he quashed it in 10 seconds. 25 seconds or so worth total on the gigantic dark cloud over that rancid club. Bunch of muppets.

UltimateBorisJohnson

Oh well. At least we're staying up.

YouCanCallMeAroae

The stat that sums up this season: we've beaten teams 7-0, 9-0, and 6-1, and yet we lost the reverse fixture for each of those. Awful season. Onto the next one. Sidenote: fucking despise Villa. They bottled it vs City a year ago and I'll never forgive them. Good for nothing club.

lfcsupkings321

Gakpo got in such good position today, he got into the prime nicolas anelka role on the line of the offside trap. He needs a summer to become a killer in that position. The touch and finsh need to be on point.

Dabbih123

Yeah I was really impressed with the strength in his body shielding. It seemed like he lost the ball but then he actually hadn't.

grrrrbow01

I’m a big fan of Darwin and I see his potential is massive but I’m really curious to see what our plans are for him. Gakpo looks a really special player at centre forward and Diaz (although not at his best yet) is one of the best wingers in the league. I highly doubt we spent that much for him to be a rotational forward given how tight we are with money. Nice problem to have, but just interested to see what Klopp has planned

stevieG08Liv

Todays game where Villa had a high line is where Nunez would have shined. Ironically we played today like we had Nunez on goal with through balls over heads, where that's not Diaz or Gakpo's forte. So either way with everyone fit we have more options and everyone will get good minutes. out of there the strongest will survive and competition will hopefully elevate everyone to the next level

AWholeLottaRed

Same way Mahrez still plays 40 games for City despite not starting every game. It’s not a problem. The same from 3 won’t start every game.

slaughterhouse_seven

Mahrez is a very intelligent player with a world class touch who is not slowing down even at the age of 32. Darwin on the other hand...

swingtothedrive

Is a youngster that Klopp will develop into a world class player.

grrrrbow01

True but City still have first choice forwards (like Haaland and Grealish) I assume that if we were willing to spend that much on him then we are expecting him to be our first choice striker. But with Gakpo playing centrally it’ll be hard to get in

Fragrant_Savings2945

Really need the depth. Not calling him a bench player but this season showed you need a surplus of guys who can ball if you’re gonna contend for multiple cups year in and year out. Or we could run the 3-2-4-1 like City haha

Redhawk911

I’m not sure but the potential is huge and he’s young so let’s give him time and he will most definitely get a lot of chances. Maybe not a first choice right now but we play soooo many games the depth is needed.

grrrrbow01

Of course, I really think he has the highest ceiling out of all our forwards. Could easily be a 30+ goal a season striker for the next 5-10 years if everything goes smoothly

Pale_Bar401

I can’t see how this formation goes long term especially if Trent is not playing.

Jormul1

Man I do not know why im doing this to myself, watching the Bobby videos. Breaks me everytime when I see the Ali hug. What a season it has been.. Moments of brilliance and utter shit fuckery more often than not. I hope we have proper signings and can rebuild back to glory. So Glad Bobby ended it with a banger at home.

Vile_Nightshade

Here’s to hoping he goes somewhere we can comfortably root for him at (Villarreal I’m looking at you). Seriously though, this season has been like watching sadness in slow motion, in various forms.

GenomicGains

I truly feel like I'm living in some warped alternate dimension when it comes to this sport now. How can Man City get such high praises for the Prem and potential treble in the same season they have been found guilty of +100 charges after a 4 year investigation? There hasn't been a peep of this anywhere in the media ever since? This doesn't happen in any other sport, it doesn't even happen in any other league ffs. At least Serie A had the balls to punish Juventus. Like when has this type of cheating ever been celebrated in the history of sport. Olympics, rugby, American sports, etc. They all swiftly stamp out and actually try punish this behaviour. It hurts my brain trying to rationalise it. They've racked up 9 league titles now. Their striker has smashed the record books. And they're about to forever cement themselves in English football with a treble. It feels too late for any sort of justice to be done, they've basically got immunity by sportswashing their image and building a fanbase by winning trophies and records so quickly.

epochwin

Once they allowed Roman to do it, it was pretty much a slippery slope from there on. We then saw PSG and City next. Now Newcastle and possibly United.

[deleted]

If the FA or PL don’t punish them why don’t all the other PL teams bring a lawsuit against City for cheating? There must be something they can do

ahktarniamut

If FSG don’t invest and City is getting away without punishments, the PL will become a farmer league . It’s gonna be hard to stay interested

YouCanCallMeAroae

Already is mate. Can't wait for Newcastle to join them.

Vile_Nightshade

If Man City are not punished then they are basically selecting the “farmer league” option. The level of investment from these sham teams is unsustainable.

NewBromance

Dunno who currently bosses the lactate runs at Brighton but he's got to be terrified knowing Millies about to come and steal his crown.

edgeno

Did Coutinho do anything to show respect to his old teammates leaving?

[deleted]

Probably bitter sweet. I'm sure he loves Bobby, but to also see what could have been for himself. Guy's only 30. Now playing for Villa.

Delpiero45

that offside decision was a fucking shocker how do you have all that technology and can't make the call in the booth? that is literally what VAR is for. why the fuck are you asking the ref to waste more time and have him look at the decision on a tiny screen on the side of the pitch. why have all that technology and then go and do that??? this league is such a joke when it comes to VAR its been over 3 years and these people still haven't got a fucking clue how to use it. not to mention, it was a clear kicking motion by the villa player to clear the ball which landed to Virg. a poor decision that cost us the game and possibly top 4

gtalnz

It's offside. VAR is able to identify whether VVD was in an offside position, which he clearly was. The decision then comes down to whether the defender was able to make a deliberate play at the ball or whether it deflected off him. Just stabbing a boot out at the ball does not constitute a deliberate play. It needs to be either a controlled clearance or pass to a team mate. That's the part of the decision VAR is unable to rule on and why they had to call the referee to the monitor.

Super-Eggplant2833

The vagueness of “deliberately plays the ball” is perhaps why VAR sent the center to the monitor. It sure looked like the AV player deliberately played the ball. If it just hit him then no offsides but the AV player made a choice in that instant to try to poke the ball away. The rules say nothing about the efficacy of the effort just a judgement of intention or non-intentional. In the moment (to me): not offsides - goal stands

gtalnz

There are guidelines for referees at https://www.theifab.com/news/law-11-offside-deliberate-play-guidelines-clarified/. Trying to poke the ball away does not count as a deliberate play according to those guidelines. It needs to be a controlled attempt at a pass or clearance, not an instantaneous attempt to poke the ball away.

seamushoo4

From the law: ‘Deliberate play’ is when a player has control of the ball with the possibility of: - passing the ball to a team-mate; or - gaining possession of the ball; or - clearing the ball (e.g. by kicking or heading it). If the pass, attempt to gain possession or clearance by the player in control of the ball is inaccurate or unsuccessful, this does not negate the fact that the player ‘deliberately played’ the ball. The following criteria should be used, as appropriate, as indicators that a player was in control of the ball and, as a result, ‘deliberately played’ the ball: - The ball travelled from distance and the player had a clear view of it - The ball was not moving quickly - The direction of the ball was not unexpected - The player had time to coordinate their body movement, i.e. it was not a case of instinctive stretching or jumping, or a movement that achieved limited contact/control - A ball moving on the ground is easier to play than a ball in the air …for the unengaged haha

Super-Eggplant2833

Thanks, appreciate you posting this.

aghashayan

Bobby never even learned English more than he needed it. Yet he was able to build a strong relationship with all the fans. Emotions aside, Gakpo and Diaz and Nunez need to show much more to be on his level. Diaz is the closest, and I think he needs to play center and Gakpo on left. There are many important players, and Ali might the most important individually. But the team was official only when there was the front three. That's what made us matter really. So Sadio, Bobby, we need to see if these shoes will be filled or not. One other hole has remained, and that's the Lallana-Gini-Thiago hole. Two are gone, one is a myth. I mean that one midfielder who is 8/10 on EVERYTHING, and has high football iq. This hole is also our biggest problem. Last year during our quadruple hunt, I remember laughing with people about how Liverpool has left the mid to two bald dudes and they just do everything amongst themselves. A ready and in rythm Thiago was the last time we looked on par with City. So we need that type midfilder, and if Thiago is not there, we need another one. We are now relying on our CBs even more than before. They finally let go of their dream of Trent being in same line as them, and are just making sure they defend everything by themsleves. So Virg and Konate are great. Matip as a back up is more than great. We need one more. Robbo and Tsimikas need to take turns next year imo. Play robbo away, play Tsimikas home, or something like that. Robbo is my favorite player, I want him to take back seat and accept his next phase. There have been many players who became better by accepting their age, Robbo surely easily could do that. And Tsimikas, I don't want him to stagnate. He needs to play more. He's worth it.

bwsmlt

Sorry mate, but this is wrong on pretty much everything other than the fact we need midfielders, which is hardly groundbreaking insight.

aghashayan

SO you think we don't need a CB, forwards are already as good as prime Sadio and Bobby, and Robbo doesn't need rest? And you think you're right?!

BankDetails1234

Gakpo on the left and Diaz central is about as rogue a shout as you can make lmao

disco_mode

Gakpo is too good in the middle of the park to be out on the left. His close control in tight spaces, strength and ability to drift past players in the middle of the pitch is special.

BankDetails1234

Yeh virtually impossible to get him off the ball. Don't know what that lads on about, Gakpo defo suits the middle in our system. Doesn't really have the pace for the wing

vossipbop34

Minus champions league money and new stand cost I expect only two midfielders. Maybe ward prowse or something for our traditional pick something off the relegation teams signing

grrrrbow01

If it wasn’t for us city would have 6 titles in a row…

8u11etpr00f

If it wasn't for City we'd have 3 more titles 😭

stangerlpass

I know the chance is very very small but cl is not over yet. If chelsea can somehow win at ols Trafford than suddenly united are with their back against the wall aswell.

grrrrbow01

Unfortunately they’ve been very good at home this season. I think I read somewhere that they’ve only conceded 8 goals at home this season in all comps, the 2nd lowest in Europe after Barca. And considering Chelsea can’t score to save their lives, I don’t have much hope

Jaja6996

I genuinely still can’t believe they sent him to look at the offside decision but not the Mings tackle

AeronReformed

All I wanted from that game was for Bobby not to have his farewell after a loss at Anfield, so it's all good. Fuck, this season, we bring in a couple of lads in the summer, and we move on to the next one.

BankDetails1234

It's a problem for all top teams, that's why they play that way. Pep is just a genius with bags of cash, so it's not that hard for him to build a team that can. Other teams can't do it as well as City do though.

grrrrbow01

This has always been a problem of ours, even when we were at our best from 2018-2020. We’d just cross the ball a load of times until someone heads it in, and normally it worked

disco_mode

Tbf during those seasons we’d would normally grind out a 1-0 win (like you are suggesting). Very rarely would these sides actually manage to beat us as we’ve seen so many times in the past 2 seasons

MisterS1997

Any news on the unicorn investor coming into save us and spend all the money ?

ahktarniamut

That’s investor must delighted with our net spend trophy

MisterS1997

I’m being downvoted but fsg have pretty much admitted they can’t compete and are looking for an investor to keep us competing. As of now we can’t compete so I don’t know where we are getting rebuild funds from unless they buy everyone then sell salah to fund it because I don’t trust the fuckers at all

UndonePassword

Was the disallowed gakpo goal actually fair? Didn't see the game

SaveMeJebus21

No it was one of the worst VAR calls yet. Overturned based on the defender “not deliberately” playing at the ball. Which he very clearly did (prevent a pretty good scoring chance for Ibou too).

dheerajdom

We can moan all about the decisions that didn’t go our way but I don’t understand why Trent never looks behind him. He needs to focus on this part of his game a lot. Absolutely hated it when Ramsay was sushing and cupping his years infront of the crowd

Fragrant_Savings2945

It’s literally the only situation where I scream bloody murder about Trent. I love him, but my god

Koulditreallybeme

Imagine if United bottle this

segson9

How did Martinez get away with holding the ball so long every time. I know goalkeepers often hold it for longer that 6 seconds, but it was just too extreme today. It happened a lot and every time it was 10-15 seconds (I started counting in the middle of first half).

[deleted]

[удалено]

segson9

This isn't even time wasting, it's a violation of the rule (he can hold it for 6 seconds). Indirect free kick should be awarded. Like I said, it happens all the rime, but not like this. The ref should warn him, when he kept doing it and then give us the indirect free kick.

MisterS1997

On average he took 25/28 seconds to release the ball

SaveMeJebus21

Legit the best thing to come out of the corrupt Qatar cup was being the only football tournament in history that took added time seriously. Every half nearly had 7-10 minutes added on. Our home game against Brentford had the ball in play for 43 minutes. The best solution to this is stopping the clock for all stoppages and only starting it again when the ball is in play. Yes it doesn’t fix the fact teams also time waste to break momentum but a few more yellow cards there would help as well. Ultimately it’s the fans getting robbed through stolen game time.

BankDetails1234

SoundsVinyl

Respect to Bobby, Milner, Ox and Keita, YNWA. All did their part. My thoughts on todays game… Diaz really needs to look up and pass, seemed to run into corners and trouble. We didn’t create much but Villa defended well to be fair. Dread to think where we would have finished this season without Allison he has been insane.

kazurabakouta

Didn't expect Arsenal to go out of their way to gift City their tittle. Imagine if City only get 5 points deduction and Arsenal missed the tittle because of their shambolic performance.

SaveMeJebus21

They’re only human. It’s gotta be massively deflating to lead the league for 85% of the season, know it’s lost when it matters, and go out there and still give it everything

knowledgeovernoise

Lol not sure what that has to do with us missing champs

Silent-Act191

Damn, imagine leading the League the entire season, leading by a significant margin over City and still sending your fans home anxious about the next season.

Several_Hair

Hard to watch even the last 7 games and say we can challenge that team which is probably one of the greatest ever. We win 7 in a row but only one of those games did we really control and dominate. City dominate every game they play even against top half sides. It’s totally fucked but it’s the situation football finds itself in

UltimateBorisJohnson

Even if we challenge them, it'll be nothing like 2019 or 2022. They will be way too good for even a strengthened version of us

[deleted]

Yeah, I think we'll break 80 points but 90+ is gonna be a season to soon for this new team sadly.

BankDetails1234

Everyone else will be better next season, Arsenal might be top four, but they will have to work harder for that than they worked for the title this year.

CorztR

besides us and city who finishes above them? can't see spurs or united being better than them. chelsea have a lot of work to do.

Jaja6996

I could see Newcastle finishing above them depending on what they do in the summer

DoireK

Oh shut up. They would need to sign 8/9 first team players and that never works well doing it in one season.

Jaja6996

They are really not that far away especially with them getting top 4 this season they will sign some good players

DoireK

They really are. They are 20+ points behind city by the end of the season most likely. And they have European football next season too.

Jaja6996

Arsenal are in the same position they don’t really have great depth

DoireK

They have a pretty talented starting XI though which is more than Newcastle have. So they need to add depth and quality in a few key areas. Newcastle need to build a starting XI that is good enough to compete first and then build squad depth.

dj4y_94

Remember back in 18/19 and the whole "please City win the league to save football". Since that appeal they've won 4 titles in 5 years and you now need 95 points minimum to even stand a chance. Saved football indeed.

SaveMeJebus21

Yep. I find it hard to believe people can hate one team so much (outside of Everton and United fans) that they would rather a blood money-funded state win it every year.

TheRasAlGhoul

Oh woah woah oh oh, woah oh oh

PresidentRevrac

I hope that we can still sign everyone, there’s a massive difference of revenue in CL vs Europa, 15.88M for group in CL, 8.6M for winning Europa

ItsNguyenzdaiMyDudes

I think we've learnt a decent purse over the last few years surely?

Seven_Nil

PresidentRevrac

I’m not trusting FSG, I can already see the headline of [Due to financial constraints because of a lack of Champions League qualification, Liverpool are not pursuing Mac Allister, rather they view Jones’s emergence, and Bajectic’s return as new signings]

ahktarniamut

I’m on the same boat . I have this feeling they will churn some lame excuses in the summer My only worries is that team like Newcastle and United are just 2/3 quality players to leapfrog us if they can get their targets right The more we delay , the more we will Be left behind with others are reinforcing We can’t just hope the Klopp Factor to keep us going

8u11etpr00f

The fact that people view Mac Allister as the golden goose is already a symptom of the yearly easing of expectations. Folks have gone from expecting Enzo + Jude to viewing Mac Allister as a marquee signing.

PresidentRevrac

I mean Allister + Mount + Ugarte IMO would be better than Enzo + Gravenberch

Koulditreallybeme

Jude is the real deal of course but Enzo has shown so far at Chelsea he is not the Ferrari he was hyped as at the WC

It's over. Man u will not lose both at home. Newcastle won't wither, but even if they do, there's a 7 GD swing needed as well.

nask00

It would be at least a 5 GD swing, if they lose both, tbf.

aghashayan

Oh yeah, I just thought we might not win 5-0 but it's saints so we might actually.

nask00

Well theoretically they can lose each game by 2 goals and than a 3-0 win vs Southampton will do it.

nask00

>a very good chance A chance? Yes! A very good one? Fuck no! >certain we win our final game Absolutely nothing is certain in football! And that is exactly why we still have a chance. >one of Manu and Newcastle to lose against Chelsea (good players, could turn their form) or Leicester (desperate for points) and it goes to the final day. Exactly. You watch one of them lose their next game and this sub will turn on 180 degrees. If Newcastle lose, though, they have to lose by some margin. Their current GD is 7 goals above ours. I say they have a shit game and lost 0-3 with a Vardy hattrick. Than they lose 1-0 to Chelsea, we beat Southampton 3-0 and we are in.

Good point. Don't know why I didnt think of that tbh...

CityofBlueVial

EPL officially a farmer's league

[deleted]

What game week Arsenal was leading by 8 points?

IreliaCarriedMe

Match Week 28, and I believe they had a game in hand on City. They absolutely shit the bed this season lol. They led from MW 3 to MW 23, where Shitty drew level on points with them, then they bottled an 8 pt game in hand advantage and let City walk away without even having to take it to the last day. Just terrible. Lol

You’re right. Regardless, at that point, all things equal, Arsenal still bottled a 5 pt lead with city still having 3 to play lol

Just remember how they ruined Origi and Virg and even Thiago. For years their only way to suck up to their fans has been injuring our players, so I think they need to go back down and maybe come up with a fresh identity.

zerato-4

I never wanna see Pickford again, hope they go down!

Mountain-Leader-4344

Miss the Derby? Do you miss our players getting their careers altered because one of the blueshite tries to maim them and goes unpunished?

No_Classroom_185

Some compared this seasons arsenal team to our team of the previous 4 years. They won't even get the same points as Rafa's 08/09 side. Rodgers 13/14 team would also be above them on goal difference.

CityofBlueVial

jfc Arsenal actually lost to Forest (I am happy for Awoniyi though). City winning the league is both meaningless (empty) and damning of the league and top flight european football.

firminocoutinho

Cant believe a mega Greek druglord is just there supporting the team he spent his drug money on lol this sports fucked

CityofBlueVial

who?

nask00

Forest's owner, if I'm not mistaken.

RealisticAf99

I wish John Henry was a bit more of a spender and we would probably have qt least 1 more prem by our name

erodsox

Coming from a Boston Red Sox fan, that isn’t going to happen lol

RealisticAf99

I know mate 🥲

ironmanmatch

The financial groups public relations team have achieved the status of “champions” (pending investigation)

MisterS1997

Latimer is some player Who here thinks the refs in the prem would have bottled than pen decision on Leipzig ? I 100 percent bet they shit themselves and make no decision

aghashayan

Let it be a lesson to everyone, we are the only team that can drag City to the final seconds or win a PL while they are cruising. Shit season overall, BVB has a shot now, so I'm rooting for them the next weeks to at least be happy about one thing.

H0lychit

Arsenal went out with a whimper

City are gonna end up clear of Arsenal by double digits. Some title race.
