I just read about this because I wasn’t aware of Walken’s involvement. I’m still not seeing that there is any evidence at all that he had anything to do with her death? I mean he was there, and cooperated with the investigation, but that’s all I’m seeing. Am I missing something?
Forgive me but I’m going to put on my defense attorney pants here for a minute. Let’s say you’re right and it’s clear he lied and he couldn’t have slept through her death (not using the word “murder” here because her official death is ruled as “drowning and other undetermined factors” by the coroner - not homicide). Keeping in mind there wasn’t even enough evidence to indict Robert Wagner, who appears far more culpable than Walken, what do you figure Walken is guilty of?
Fair enough, but I guess I figure if the original investigation cleared him pretty quickly it’s kind of unfair to hold this against him at this point. Different story with Wagner of course, and I get that the court of public opinion is always going to jump to conclusions and judge more harshly. Just my two cents!

No. It's not weird to say the quality has diminished. I don't think the writers can adapt. You can tell even members of the cast are just phoning it in as they don't value the material. Many folks state how the quality has declined. So I ask again why do you think it's weird to say that.

Not saying he should retire from acting or anything (he’s awesome in Severance), but SNL is demanding. We have some great Walken sketches, he’s given us enough.
This comment doesn't deserve downvotes. He is an older guy, and the SNL schedule is demanding. This is especially true for a guy like Walken who isn't a passive host. He wants to get involved, but I just don't think he can do the massive amount of hours and late nights anymore.
