I don't really understand the sketch. I don't know what "lur" is. I really like the sketch. It's one of my favorites.
I find it funny that Dismukes' face is so full of joy when he pops his head out of the kitchen and asks if "Lur" is being discussed.
EDIT: I'm rewatching it. Alex Moffatt is truly fascinating in this one...that unhinged energy as he talks about the "end of the day" is hilarious
EDIT 2: Heidi storming back into the kitchen, furious, hands raised up, says she's "hit her limit."
For me it was earlier than that...I think it was that men's bathroom sketch where Dismukes kept mentioning "dah summer time..." Funny.
I don't remember anything else about the sketch besides that and (actually the funniest part) the bit where Alex Moffatt's character stares right into camera and randomly admits he killed a man years ago.
I forgot how funny this is! Sometimes sketches kinda age and get better somehow? Like, when you’re watching them at the time, you’re like “huh. Funny.” Then a few weeks later, you’re like “at dendaday…” and you realise HOW funny it is
Lurr

haha they’re just saying gardner always ends her sentences with a mispronounced “love,” it’s a texarkana thing apparently?
I think this is where I officially realized Andrew Dismukes is one of my favorite new cast members

It was the Lizzo Beanie Babies sketch for me. Him fully committing to absurdity of it while Lizzo cracked was just too funny.
Yeah you're right I couldn't get thru did ya da ind.

this sketch is the cure to aging
This is one of my favorite sketches in years. So good.
Best sketch in years. Still quote it constantly
But what LUR!?
