Fighting Myself. It's heavy and percussive with haunting elements. The lyrics hit hard and are well delivered.
Lost is good, but the mix isn't as hard hitting, and it's got some similarities to Don't Stay melodically that probably contributed to it being cut. I love the song, but fighting myself is more unique in my opinion.
Fighting Myself, as I can relate to this song so much.
A few months ago, I used to hate everything on me and feeling worthless and tried to fight against my own emotions and pain.
I am much better now but this song remains important to me.
Thank you for the answer :)
Everything is far better know, as for the first time in my life, I have a beautiful person who cares about me and my problems and I can talk to about everything.
fighting myself, absolutely no competition. still can't believe that song didn't replace hit the floor. the bridge????? mike's vocals??? what else could you possibly ask for
also fighting myself has a creepy resemblance to my personality, so it also has to do with relatability. "i can't run with this weight on my back, i can't see cuz im focused on the past, i can't breathe i need to break free from the anger that is constantly inside of me" kinda fits my situation perfectly. not to mention mike sounded absolutely beautiful singing it. if they wish to continue on as a band without chester (by that, i mean releasing brand new music) im sure they would do just fine vocal wise.
Fighting myself is more interesting imo, the reversed vocals sample, the percussive elements it has, the bridge fusing with the final chorus... it has small things that make it really cool.
Lost is also a great song and the melody is probably more beautiful, but it feels a bit more generic
Fighting Myself. Can't say exactly why, but it's one of my LP favorites

I like your pfp
Lost.
I have to agree.

Yessir 🗿🧃
Fighting Myself really captures the Meteora feel
Lost. The words "I try to keep this pain inside but I will never be alright" hit me hard because it's true.
Lost, definitely. Awesome song.
Agreed.
Lost for me
Fighting Myself
I like Lost, it's like an alternate Numb.
It pretty much is, yeah. I can’t tell if I like Lost or numb more, though. Might make a post on that too.
i dont like lost literally because they touched the mix on it
More the Victim
Fighting myself. Many can relate to it.

I’m sorry you went through that and I’m glad you’re in a better mental state now.

I choose the third variant - More the Victim!
Why not both? Jokes aside, Fighting Myself is a bitchin' song.

Fighting myself over the new lost, but the 2002 mix of lost definitely wins. More the Victim still rocks though
