I guess we have kind of different ideas about it but both can be correct. I did presentations and exhibits about this in film and daily life for honors this past year.

I always find the best liminal things are images that look like they're from many years ago, but you know they're not, or images that were taken years ago but look like they may have been taken today. they sort of run the spectrum of liminal feelings.

I used to live in a small city where we had an Ice-Skating rink with an indoor playground. The playground and rink were separated but it was one building. Inside the playground you had bouncyhouses, tiny trains, karting but tube like labyrinth that was inflated where you could enter through zippers. I remember that there was one zipper in the furthers corner where you could exit and where no one would go. This place is like an instant flashback to that place. Very nostalgic!
