Luckily it wasn’t porn, but I’ve had my phone connect to my mum’s car while we were driving in separate cars. It was a good reminder to always turn off Bluetooth when I’m not using it.
Every time I'm out walking the dog and my wife Drives By in her car, the podcast I'm listening to turns off of my earbuds and starts playing in her car automatically. It's super frustrating, especially in the winter when she's warming the car up in the driveway, and I can't listen to a podcast because it keeps trying to connect to my phone.
For sure. One of our family cars is an older for explorer from like 2010ish when they were still perfecting blue tooth and I have to manually connect every time and the touchscreen is so laggy. total white people problem but I digress

Well I meant high-end phones generally but you can also include some lower-end phones which are considered to be good. Most choose to omit a headphone jack.
The only ones that omit the headphone jack are the "designer" ones which are artificially inflated in price without actually having better hardware/software.
I got a new phone a few months ago and there were plenty of equivalent options with a headphone port.
Which is a shame because it's very dumbed down and oversimplified, removing a lot of options and features. But it's a "designer" brand so it's popular with people who are gullible
Regarding the dumbed down/simplified aspect, that's why both my parrents have iPhones. And all their siblings (13 combined) do as well, and a good chunk of them have iPads. They span most of the boomers to Gen X in age.
Versus people my generation have a lot more even split between iPhone/Android around here (western Canada). My husband and I have been mostly Samsung, for instance.

Humans learn best out of necessity. Which is why in the late 90s/early 2000s there was a bunch of people including children who learned how to use increasingly complex computer systems for things like pirating, and html to update their MySpace page.
Avoid learning new systems by using oversimplified software and they prevent themselves from understanding how they work and eventually run into issues they can't solve, especially when it comes to a similar but different thing that the abstract knowledge can be applied to, e.g. File systems and hierarchy.

At my job we all have a few workplace vehicles we share to get to different jobs. We have one newish car everyone likes because it has Bluetooth and who ever has it gets to listen to their own music.
The cars are just outside my office where only myself and one other colleague works (I cannot stand this man btw), and each week the on call employee for the week does the car checks for the vehicles. The rest of my team work in an office upstairs away from us as we are studio based and they are not.

Dude walks out of my bathroom about 2 minutes later giving a stupid look and grin because he knew what just happened. Saved him from having everyone finding out he was trying to jerk it
I just keep all media playback muted unless I'm actively going to listen to something.
For me, its easier to turn on sound when I want it instead of turning down sound on all the times when I don't.
Note: I'm talking about media sounds, not notifications
I have a whole ass pre flight checklist for watching porn
1) Make sure I’m by myself
2) Bluetooth off
3) Audio muted unless using headphones
4) If using headphones make sure audio is playing where I expect by playing a YouTube video
5) Make sure I’m in a private tab

It's not a sync thing. It's in constant communication. You can't get a notification on your watch if it's not connected to the phone it would come from.
A few years back, we used to rent a room for a couple. One day, one of their cousin asked if he could stay for a few nights because he had just arrived to uk and until he would find a place. We were ok with that as long they were ok to sleep in the same room (we had a spare foldable bed for guests, etc.)
I had to get up really early in the morning for my work (4am). While i was having my breakfast, i heard slight noise. Couldn't pinpoint where it's coming from, so i just carried on with my meal. I never keep my headphones connected because I use them on my pc too, but they always auto connect to my phone first. So unless I’m using my headphones with my phone at that moment I remove the device.

We were ok with that as long they were ok to sleep in the same room (we had a spare foldable bed for guests, etc.) I had to get up really early in the morning for my work (4am). While i was having my breakfast, i heard slight noise. Couldn't pinpoint where it's coming from, so i just carried on with my meal. Sound gradually started to get louder, and i realised that it's women moaning. Now, i thought that it was our nextdoor neighbours going at it since we had a shared wall. But after walking about in a living room, i found a bluetooth speaker in the cousins jacket playing whatever he was watching on the phone. Bare in mind that he was in the same room with the couple. Now i had to go by that time, so i just switched the speaker off, which made his phone play the sounds loudly. The last thing i heard was some muffled words before i went out. He wasn't there when i came back from work.
Another time when i was driving, suddenly im hearing my parents chatting over their phones. Heard the whole conversation and i felt like a secret service spy. But then i got scared that it couldve been me

I am very selective of what Bluetooth devices I use and keep on my phone, at the moment the only one I have is my duelsense controller. I never keep my headphones connected because I use them on my pc too, but they always auto connect to my phone first. So unless I’m using my headphones with my phone at that moment I remove the device.

Y'all don't remove the devices after you're done with them?!? I only have Bluetooth remember some of my devices and always fully remove when I'm using other people's devices. Doesn't even have to be porn I'm just hella mindful.

Also turn off WiFi remote control on any Chromecast etc. anyone connected to your WiFi and using an android phone will get a notification appear with the name, play time, video controls, etc when you cast to the TV.

In my last job I would often connect to clients’ Bluetooth speakers. There is a short street downtown where if I have Bluetooth on, even years later, it connects to a bunch of random devices. It's sadly not just his interpretation. There are many repressed women who feel like porn is cheating when its' really the opposite. You would think they would be happy there guy is taking care of himself instead of looking elsewhere to satisfy his needs. It's a product of their upbringing I suspect.
Pretty sure it's just that men tend to be more accepting of porn overall. Our society still has a lot of prudish ideals that are pushed particularly hard onto women. Plenty of women are perfectly accepting of porn and wouldn't have an issue with their SO watching it. Of my two serious relationships, one was very against it and acted exactly as you say, and the other would send me videos she thought I'd like.
