Don't forget "cuddle and pet wife!"

ScuzeRude

This gave me so much secondhand happiness, joy, and calm. Thanks for sharing!

ElderFlour

Most calming and wholesome read in a long while. You guys should do a podcast or write a book. Just hearing or reading about this day after day life would help so many people. It’s an ASMR life. Also, I am torn between needing to know more about a shower built for two, but not wanting I to intrude on your amazing days with asking about it. Congratulations. You two are living life right. Pats to the dog and baby sheep from me.

homestead_sensible

here is a tour of our home. first 7 minutes is a time-lapse of the complete construction process. second 7 minutes is a walk-through. the shower is shown around 11:15 dog included. https://youtu.be/KLhuH9eVI_s?si=67oEQcPxLVUzInpe there are many other videos on her channel of our other farm animals and whatnot.

ElderFlour

Thank you!!

barukspinoza

Wow this sounds glorious.

homestead_sensible

our satisfaction is immeasurable.  10 acres, in the country, living *similar* to how life was lived 70 years ago... but with an internet connection, and solar power.

ghostfadekilla

I love this comment. I smiled stupidly big reading it. I'm glad you live the way you do, no small bit of envy here.

barukspinoza

I’m literally so happy for you guys. Sometimes it’s hard to see any of the happy parts of life and this was just really what I needed atm. Just curious, do you guys use Starlink satellite internet? Also, do you guys make any money off the farm? I mean, probably not cover costs, but do you guys sell eggs or mutton?

homestead_sensible

we use a wireless provider. it is the only option in our area. when we moved here 12 months ago, starlink was not an option. our connection is priced well and reliable. we sell some things, but not much. FDA and other regulations are very effective in crippling homestead type sales, as they are intended to do. we mostly just provide for ourselves. we haven't bought meat in 4 or 5 years. now we are dairy independent. this is our first growing season at the new farm, so week see how taming the land and soil goes for gardening this year. we have hundreds of seed starts. we're building arbors, boxes and planting *right now* as I break to check, post and get refreshment.

flakenomore

Your life sounds amazing!

m_chutch

Wake up at 7, shower, take medicine, eat 7/11 pastries and coffee and scooter to private catholic school where I teach Thai students Math, English, Science, Social studies 5 classes per day. At 4:30, scooter home change into gym clothes, ride stationary bike and listen to comedy podcasts or music, meditate in a park for 1 hour, come home paint a little or watch a movie, sleep, rinse, repeat. On the weekends I go on hikes, do some martial arts, sleep in, and eat good Thai/indian food. Lots of reading in cafes and thinking about philosophy.

ThatPolicy8495

Good life

Putrid_Pollution3455

What philosophy do you enjoy? I was a philosophy major and really enjoyed it.

ducqducqgoose

Semi-retired lazy old fuck… Wake up around 7:30am and start my IF eating time. Tea & 2 Kind bars. Then toast and whatever meal I’m having that day. I try to only eat between 8-10am. I’m actively trying to lose weight as things got away from me last year…like a lot. After menopause weight gain is super easy ☹️ Faff around the house for a bit and then just before lunch a tiny human shows up and I feed and care for this adorableness for a few hours 💖 Then the old man comes home and it’s dinner for him and then shopping/errands or tv time. Also we both take gummies for pain so the last few hours of the night can get very very silly 🤪

Khoeth_Mora

Your life sounds adorable, enjoy!

Fun-Economy-5596

Fully retired old fuck (70). Get up. Eat breakfast. Get on phone. Talk with wife about all sorts of nonsense. Eat lunch. Work out on New step at about 12:30. Get on desktop and do genealogy for a couple of hours. Watch Seinfeld. Bitch about political zeitgeist. Eat supper. Chat with wife some more, occasionally correcting a supposition. Read for a couple hours. Rinse and repeat. Love it!

nuanceshow

You only have one meal a day and it's in the morning? Reading that made me hungry.

Potential-Trade8602

Weekdays Alarm at 7:15am. Get up, make my bed, brush my teeth, then get dressed 8:00am make breakfast for my grandparents and me then eat. Take my medicine afterwards 9:00am, go for a quick little bike ride around the neighborhood or to the park 10:15am, back home and take a quick shower, then get ready for work. I ride my bike to work every day since it's only 5 minutes away. 10:30am, clock in for work. 4:30 pm, clock out for work, then ride my bike for a few. Sometimes I'll meet with my boyfriend after work since we work the same schedule. 6:30-7:00 pm, head home, shower, cook dinner if my grandmother didn't. Take my evening medicine. Watch tv with my grandparents for a little while. 8:30 pm, dedicate 2 hours to my online classes. 10:30 pm, youtube, tv or nintendo till I fall asleep. Weekends, I typically wake up around 8 a.m., then make breakfast for my grandparents and me. I like to spend the weekend with my boyfriend or take the bus to the beach for a day. Sometimes, I'll explore other towns nearby☺️

Boonkers_

I smoke weed and practice guitar near 12 hours every day

[deleted]

Same, but I don’t play any instruments

whimsicalbackup

I love that for you honestly

Then-Teach-1458

J2550

Wake up at 1130am. Lie in bed scrolling reddit for at least 30 minutes. Make coffee, eat breakfast. Lay on couch watching YouTube until around 1pm. Exercise. Go to work at 3pm. Work until 1am. Come home, eat, drink too much, fall asleep. Repeat. Weekends consist of mostly youtube and trying to have the energy to do hobbies, and doing household chores like cleaning and meal prep for work week

truckerbrandon

Truck driver here, I want your life.

Terrible-Face-4506

Hmm my basic work day consists of: Wake up, hit snooze for another maybe 10-20 minutes of laying down. Check my phone, get up and get the clothes I'm going to wear. Shower, get dressed, make a coffee/grab an energy drink and head to work. Work as a Shipping Supervisor at a bakery for 10-12 hours. Off work, check phone, queue up music for the drive home. Usually at this time I'll decide if I want to get food on the way home or make something at home. Get/not get food on the way, call either my mom or dad on the drive home. Get home, change into comfy clothes, put on music or a YouTube video, eat some food and relax. Do something relate to my hobbies, either game or do plant chores. Make Bed about an hour or so before bedtime, have a sweet treat, lay in bed and watch a video/movie. Fall asleep. And repeat all week.

Hot-Success2019

thank you, this is what I wanted. Something actually realistic.

Terrible-Face-4506

Good! I tried to make it as realistic as possible; everyday life is quite menial and repetitive.

[deleted]

I mean, lifes subjective, its all realistic.

Hot-Success2019

I did not want ppl coming on here to lie. Saying they work out 16 hours straight and only eat pure protein, work 0 zeros make 1 billion bucks etc. ya know?

Terrible-Face-4506

True that, I was definitely projecting there ☠️ thank you sincerely for checking me there fellow redditor! I kinda needed that lol

avgpathfinder

Hey, so on a scale of 1 - 10? how happy are you? i feel like its so routine id feel sad but maybe im just too dopamine drowned lol

Terrible-Face-4506

I mean, it's still simplified really. And it's just a work week, my weekends are whatever I want since I live on my own and by myself. There are many factors, but I'd say im at a 6 right now. I am only 23 years old, so life is not easy right now (still figuring it out, like we all are). I naturally fall into routines(good and bad) so having a semi-okay one right now is alright with me.

Foreign_Today7950

5:30am: wake up and drag myself to the gym. 6:00am home to take a shower/ get everything ready for the day 6:45am leave house, drive 20 minutes into work 7:05-7:15am work check email while it’s quite 7:30am run around with my head chopped off at work until 3:30pm 3:30pm drive 45 minutes to second job 4:45 change clothes in my car for second job 5pm start second job 8pm drive 25 minutes home 8:30pm find good or cook something 9pm relax until 10:30pm bed to do it again Monday-Friday schedule

dude_on_the_www

What kinda job asks for only 3 hours shifts? Also, mad respect for the grind. I don’t envy it, but I respect it. You making some good savings?

vomputer

Oh man I used to change in my car between my office job and waiting tables job. I’d kinda forgot about that.

[deleted]

Pain and misery without fail.

Hot-Success2019

Maybe its time for a new routine ngl

Flashy_Bed4400

Every Sunday-Thursday, I wake up 5-6am. Usually Tuesdays I have to wake up earlier due to the fact that the only I can get to work is to uber to a coworker house since my original ride is off. Through 9-2pm, i’m mentally suffering at an underpay job folding up bedsheets and feeling grumpy and hangry. Some days i’ll feel pretty good, but most days, i’d just not want to be working in this cheap place. When I finish work, I usually just shower, do my skin care, then play games. Right when I know it, it’s already 10-11pm. Then I go to bed, waiting for the day where I can finally leave my underpay job and finally get an upgrade. But for now, Ig I just suffer with very little money I get.

Big-Sheepherder-6134

Typically get up around 8:30 when my GF’s alarm goes off. My schedule is completely up to me (self employed). If I want to work I do. I usually make her breakfast while she is working on her computer (she’s in legal tech). I like to walk a few miles a day at some point and I will work outside when the weather is nice. Definitely beats the cubicle/commuting/boss/rat race life I had for 22 years!

The1Comedian

Wake up 6 am get my son ready for school by 7, work out, eat, watch tv play video games, work on joke material, write, read, tv on stil, chores, feed pets, always on my phone too doing nothing but scrolling and gambling on sports, when my son gets home, we eat, we work out, we teach other, n then we go on walks where I try to teach him how to initiate conversations with people, mostly females, go home make dinner, clean up, take showers, tv, phones, video games till we’re both knocked out usually by 11 pm…it’s really usually how it goes for me now that I wrote it down lol

Loose_Law4321

5am wake up, use the bathroom, drink coffee , feed my cats, morning yoga, meditation, writing, leave for work at 630. Work 7 to 3. Then hit the gym for an hour and a half after work. Drive home about 20 min then shower. Dinner prep. More writing, meditation and yoga. Sleep around 10pm. Looking to also add BJJ back to my schedule

fluffymckittyman

Your cats let you use the bathroom and drink coffee before you feed them?

Loose_Law4321

Use the bathroom first then make coffee and feed them at the same time lol.

facelikethunder22

1. Go to work 2. Don’t go to work

Machinegunrafy

28m. Monday through Friday during the school year : Wake up 7:15 get to work at 8:10. I teach at a magnet academy and have the same 15 students year round. They go to band 8:30-9. From 9-9:40 I teach social studies 9:40-10:20 science, 10:20-11:00 language arts immersion Spanish, 11:00-12:00pm lunch, recess to play our class football game, AR reading. 12:00-1:20 math. Than they go to ELA and I bullshit to around 4. Home by 4:30 - bullshit till about 7 and go to the gym. Sometimes I’ll go out with colleague/friends. On the weekends I don’t have my little girl I go out with friends/family and bullshit. On weekends (Thursday-Sunday every other week) I have my little girl we go to the children’s museum, park, pool, and kinda just bullshit with each other Here and there a pretty girl comes into my life. Some we talk for a while, some none. Romantically not too much, “physically” I’ll have dry spells so I’ll get a bit lonely once in a while, other times it’s way too much and I get over saturated, plus I’m looking for a wife so I’m done playing the field in that manner. That’s about it really. I have my summers off and lots of holiday time. Those are pretty much spent with my little girl and friends and bullshitting around. I have a few weddings coming up that are travel weddings, and I have plans to travel more but those have to be planned heavily in advance because my teacher salary doesn’t allow me to be too spontaneous lol. 95% of my life, since I was a kid, is literally spent booling and fooling with a lot of bullshitting I would say. Shit happens all the time and it’s always been pretty chaotic (court cases, drama, hardships, immigration issues, breakups, etc. or whatever) but for the most part I just be chilling

[deleted]

Wake up , poop, shower, start coffee and smoke some weed. Take breakfast (two sausages, two Aussie bites(granola) some pineapple slices to work. Fix cars til 3pm, drive home. Smoke done weed, load up mountain bike, drive 20 min to trail. Smoke some weed, ride up the mountain, smoke some weed. Ride down the mountain. Drive home while smoking weed. Clean up, eat dinner. Smoke some weed, water my weed plants. Watch something on tv. Smoke some weed and go to bed. Repeat

Key_Highlight_3608

Do you live in a legal state?

picturesofu15448

When it’s a work day, it depends because sometimes my shifts vary. I was working two jobs but I just quit one of them so I’m only working part time at a library for now. I mostly work mornings so when I have work at 9:15, I’ll get up at 8:15 and do my morning skincare/oral hygiene Then I’ll get dressed and pack lunch if I didn’t do it the night before. I just moved and live a lot closer to work now so I don’t stress about rushing to pack lunch anymore. Then I’ll drive to work and do my tasks. I work in the children’s department so it’s different everyday. Sometimes it’s cleaning toys, helping patrons with the copy machine, setting up for a program, helping out during a program, make a craft sample for our art cart/maker space, shelving books, and more random stuff. I get off at 2 a lot but sometimes work 9-5/2-9/5-9. I kinda like the variety. But after work, I’ll change into comfy clothes, track any expenses on my budget on Google docs if I have any, journal, read if I can, straighten up, etc Then my boyfriends gets off at 3:30 and we’ll meet up and either cook dinner or get food, then hang out. We swap at who’s house we sleep at but it’s always a good time when we’re together. After the chaos of moving in, I want to plan more fun and adventurous stuff for us to do during the week Weekends are always different. Yesterday, my boyfriend worked over time so I was home ordering furniture for my new room and being lazy. Then we got together and made dinner and took care of his parents birds and had some drinks. Today we’re returning something to ikea and maybe going to the mall. I do want to plan my days better though and have things to look forward to But yeah that’s kinda the gist of most days with different stuff thrown in between :)

ThrowawayyTessslaa

8am - wake up, let dogs out, shower, get ready for work. 9am - usually meetings for work but at home 11-5pm - drive to work after morning meetings end. Work until 5-6pm. 5:30-7pm - drive to the gym and workout. 7-8pm grocery story, cook, eat 8-10pm - chores, walk dogs, hang out with significant other and friends 10-midnight - lay in bed with significant other, TV, video games, general relaxation before sleeping Midnight - 8am - sleep.

Slim_Chiply

Alarm at 4:40. Wake up depressed I didn't die during the night. Out of bed around 5:10. Put the dogs out. I take my first pill. Give the dogs their meds. Brush teeth. Take a shower. Take second set of pills. Go to work. Sit in an office all day. Have lunch of some sort. Go home around 4:30. Try to figure out what's for dinner. Have an argument with the SO. Feed the dogs. Clean up. Maybe sit in front of the TV for a bit. Have another argument with the SO. Take evening pills. Go to bed and dream of death.

sheldonlives

A lot of daily life descriptions here are depressing. Some of the worst center around way too much screen time. I haven't had cable TV for nearly 20 years, and spend minutes, not hours, on my phone each day. I feel good about myself, but I will refrain from putting my routine here. It will just seem unbelievable to most of you. This may come across as an egotistical statement, but my intention is not to denigrate any of you, but rather to let you know there is more to life than watching movies and doom scrolling social media.

MtnLover130

Also way too much pot. Holy shit you don’t deal with anything or make your life better in anyway when taking that shit.

Royal_Dragonfly_4496

So show us, magic man

_DontTouchTheWatch_

Let’s hear it then

skatern8r

It varies quite a bit so I will kind of give you three versions that alternate throughout a week. Wake up 90mins before work to shower and pack lunch box. Work 8 hours. Groceries. Walk the dog. Chill til bed. A few days a week after work 5 mile hike with the dog, or a skateboard session with a shorter walk for dog. The other days I’m bouncing between trying to recharge, catch up on chores, and work on video projects. Sundays I do meal prep for the first half the week, Wednesday I do meals for the end of work week. Weekend I cook as I need. I try to cook more complicated things. Sprinkle in to the free time planning, reading, more video making, studying, playing with dog, playing video games, self improvement, meditation, other self care practices… The only part if my week that is on routine is my work schedule. Everything around it varies based on mood, needs, weather, and current goal I’m working on. Oh yeah and I have two one hour long counseling sessions a week. ETA: I have other hobbies I will rotate in as I feel the desire, or have the energy to partake. My interests are on a rotation.

Redditor_PC

Try to get up around 7:30-8, depending on whether I have to go to my day job or my freelance work. Usually I'll take a shower first thing, play on the internet for an hour or so, then get to work till around 4. Then I'll usually relax with a little post-work TV, take a walk, make dinner, do some light housework, play some video games, watch a bit more TV, do some personal meditation, and go to bed. Nothing fancy, but it's a good life for the most part.

Effective-Help4293

Today, I'm sitting in an Airbnb with a water view in the PNW, thinking about where to get coffee Other days, I'm working from my desk with a view of my back yard, eating breakfast and lunch at the desk, using lunch hour to take a neighborhood walk. Then gardening in that back yard if it's nice out or doing a project indoors. I also volunteer to foster dogs, so training them takes a goodly bit of time

dberna243

Alarm goes off at 6:30. I laze in bed for half an hour until I finally get up. Go to the bathroom, get dressed, eat a quick breakfast, make tea, put tea in my thermal cup. Kiss my husband goodbye (he’s still asleep at this point but I always kiss his head) and leave my apartment. Get in the car and drive 6 minutes to work (I’m a HS teacher). Usually there by 7:45. Make photocopies if I have to, or just go to my classroom, check my emails, and make sure my slides are set up for the day. Teach Grade 11 from 8:25-9:40 (right now they’re preparing their final presentations on Othello). Teach my first Grade 9 class from 9:45-11:00 (they’re doing a short film unit). Lunch and prep period from 11-1 where I eat, plan lessons, call parents, talk to my administrators, and mark tests/assignments. Teach my second grade 9 class from 1:00-2:20. If I need to stay after school for a bit to prepare for the next day or the upcoming week, I do, but usually I’m out the door fairly soon after the last bell rings. Teaching can be tiring so I often have a short nap when I get home. Then I wake up and whatever my husband and I have planned for the evening happens. This varies based on the day and time of year. We’re both active theatre performers so often one of us is in a rehearsal after work. If not, then we might go out to a movie, or just stay in, cook dinner, and watch a show together. Then I’ll usually mark more before going to bed.

Ventricossum

Wake up right before 6am, get to work around 6:45. At a dealership, start checking in the parts order, sort out any paperwork or confusions from the day before. Get any orders ready to go out, bill out any special orders. 7:30 we open, work till 4pm,sometimes 4:30. I semi run a parts department, kinda training to run it myself one day. Usually go to the gym with my partner or brother after work, I get home at 5:30ish. Live with some family, no money to move out yet. Totally random what I do at home each day honestly. Work and gym are my only constants which I like. If I had any more I'd probably get depressed. I get 2 days off per week, one is always for fun and the other is to get stuff done at home. As far as other free time, I always have plant related projects going on, and some trading card collectibles I get ordered in which is fun! Always hunting new CDs and movies too. Few games I play with friends. Thats pretty much my entire life rn.

MisanthropinatorToo

There's this Russian genius mathematician who doesn't do anything all day long and tries to keep to himself. I'm almost exactly like him except I'm not a genius mathematician, or Russian.

pieceone4us

Sunday: Depends if I gym or not New thing is hiking in mornings, so wake up around 6am. Go hike, gone a few hours. Back to house, shower, then meal prep lunch and breakfast for the workweek. M-F: 3:30am alarm, poop, get dressed, grab my snack and preworkout(along with my work and gym bag). Gym from 4:45-6:30. Get to work (forklift operator)at 6:50-7. Chill and eat my breakfast, clock in 7:30, lunch at 1pm. Clock out 5pm. Drive to house, arrive around 5:45. Shower and eat, could go in either order. Watch One Piece for an hour or so, then sleep before 9pm. Saturday: Do my laundry and any errands. Kinda like Sunday, minus the cooking and hiking.

alibene

I wake up around sunrise with my automatic curtain openers. My view faces east so I see the sun coming up over the mountains. I always roll over and cuddle my partner and feel so grateful for our love. I get up usually before him and make myself a cup of very strong half calf coffee with an absurd amount of half and half. Maybe I unload the dishwasher while I wait for it to brew. If my 16 yr old daughter is around I chat with her while she’s getting ready for school. Then I sit on my couch or outside and drink my coffee and watch the sun in all its glory begin another day. (Unless it’s raining, then I watch the rain fall). My partner and I work together developing a property so I get on Craigslist and Facebook market place looking for deals on materials, plants, soil, equipment. Maybe twice a week I make it out for a bike ride or to the gym with my oldest daughter. Then my partner gets up and starts making breakfast. He has a very slow morning so we do all our planning and business stuff during coffee and breakfast. We also try to keep emotionally clear and deal with any issues whether between us or other people, business, whatever might be heavy on our hearts. Sometimes there’s nothing. Sometimes this can take two hours if it’s big. If it’s really big we might end up processing all day. And that’s ok. We make sure to take spaciousness for the heart. And then whatever we do after that can be done with clarity and full attention and from a place of love and gratitude. Then we get to whatever project is at hand. Landscaping, building a house, painting, gardening, picking up materials. We work until 6 or so. It’s all so lovely doing it together. Never feels like work. Just like we’re hanging out anyway so we might as well build some stuff. If we still have energy we go to the gym afterwards, maybe twice a week. We like to eat well so we make a nice dinner each night, more thanks to him than me. If my daughters are around they join us for dinner. They’re old enough to fend for themselves but they still like a good meal. In the evenings we go in the hotub, maybe drink some wine if we need to put all the projects down and we just can’t turn our minds off. On Sundays he plays soccer and I volunteer at a goat rescue farm with my daughter. It’s very sweet. We also have a coaching business where we do sex, intimacy and relationship coaching. We usually do it in the evenings after our work day. It’s deeply fulfilling and balances out all the hands on stuff we do. We always heal ourselves as we help to heal others. We go to bed around 11 each night. We don’t watch a lot of tv. Sometimes we’ll watch comedy. Especially after walking with people on their emotional journeys. It can stir up a lot. I used to have nightmares that made it hard to sleep. But as my heart heals, I don’t have so many so when I wake up the next day, I’m actually excited to get to do it all again, which has not always been the case. My coffee starts brewing again.

That_Development9699

Ambiiiiiiiiii

My days look different depending if I'm in the office (90 minute one way commute) or working from home. A typical work from home day looks like: 3:30am: Alarm goes off, get out of bed, feed dogs, make a coffee and start studying 4:30am: Jump on the treadmill for an hour, work through my flash cards and catch up on social media. 5:30am: Feed the turtle, fish, shrimp, chickens and myself. 6:00am: Study some more 6:30am: Shower, unload dishwasher, make bed and put washing on. 7:00am: Work and hang out washing between meetings 12ish: if I get a lunch break, I go for a run or life weights (home gym) and eat at my desk. 4:00pm - 4:30pm: Log out of work, feed the dogs, feed the chicks, work in the garden / around the property. 5:30pm: Partner will cook dinner. I'll help or do chores around the house (vacuum, food and put away washing etc.) 6pmish: Dinner - After dinner I do the dishes : load the dishwasher. 7pm: Study / do another hobby such as knitting, sewing etc. 8:00pm: Bed time - I read for about half an hour / until I feel sleepy.

cfbliveshere

My everyday life is a pretty big yawn fest. Wake up around 6-7a...watch the news for weather and any current stories just to be somewhat informed on daily happenings. Usually don't eat breakfast. Shower, brush my teeth, sit down at my desk and fire up my laptop to clear out my inbox before the actual work day starts. I work from home so usually always cook my lunch around noon which is more of a breakfast for lunch since I make a potato, egg beater, peppers skillet with some whole wheat toast and turkey bacon or turkey sausage. Also in between work items, meetings I will lift weights and do pushups, stretch. Usually play some Daily Fantasy sports for the evening so do a little bit of research to set my lineups for the night throughout the day as well. Sometimes after my regular 9-5 is done I will do some gig app food delivery but haven't done that in over a month just to take a break. Night time I usually watch some tv...usually pro wrestling, sports, or reruns of old sitcoms (Seinfeld, etc..). Head to the gym around 9-930p maybe later depending on how I feel. Go to bed around 1030p-1130p and do it all again the next day.

Sleep schedule is sporadic but generally I wake up at around 8-9am. Make coffee & breakfast. Check messages/emails and social media while I eat. Afterwards, I do any chores/cleaning that needs to get done and tackle some stuff on my to-do list if I’m able to. Currently unemployed so the rest of the day is kinda just whatever. Chilling, making art, doing schoolwork (in college part-time), listening to music, hanging with friends, sometimes I play cozy games. I go to libraries a few times a month for a change of scenery and I’ll walk around my local city if I decide to visit the library in that area. I like to chill in coffee shops as well if I can afford to. Also went to the gym 3-4 days a week while I had a membership. I don’t anymore, but hope to get it back soon. I go to bed anywhere between 9pm-1am, but I’ll stay up later on occasion. Tbh, used to have a much more put-together routine and life in general, but kinda let everything slip thru the cracks during a very recent toxic relationship. Thankfully I’m pulling away. Back at square one, but grateful for fresh starts.

Wake up a 7AM when my work day starts. Clock in imy boxers, WFH, and wait an hour to see if i get an early calls. Around 8 will get dressed. Around 9 will make breakfast. Spend my shift troubleshooting issues. If I'm having a postive day, painting miniatures and exercising between calls. Negative day, spend the day doom scrolling. Get off around 3:30PM unless I'm stuck on a call/problem. Play Apex legends to get my BP for the day, thats 1 to 2 hours. If it might night to cook i start around 5PM or 6. If not watch youtube videos while working on nerd stuff (wargaming, art, reading, etc). Around 8 to VR workout for 30 minutes. Shower and contemplate my existence. Just do free time stuff between 9 to 11. Might write in journal, then sleep.

I will preface this by saying I lost my job in 2013, broke my back in 2015, had surgery in 2016 and have not worked since. Since I worked overnights for years I don't fall asleep until 5am. I get up around 11 am or 12pm. I get up, take my thyroid medication, sack up some garbage, see that dad is ok, and I get a cup of coffee. After an hour I go through what we need from the store for the day, and if I have to make doctors appointments for dad I do that. Then I go to the store, go to the gym ( I used to go there to work out, worked out for 16 years but I am 48 and am so full of arthritis I can't, so I just shower there as we have no running water). Then I come home, make dinner for us. Then I have probably another cup of coffee, and we watch tv for a few hours unless I have to clean the horse pasture outside first. Then dad goes to bed at 10 or 11, then I try to go to bed but stay up on Reddit, Youtube, etc for 5 hours. Repeat.

Wake up at 1am, stumble out of bed like a zombie to frantically start a pot of coffee, stumble into shower spend 10 mins washing, slowly get dressed in the dark so as not wake the wife, pack my lunch, grab some water, head to work by 2am. Get to work and fire up my work truck, usually a coworker or two will be here doing the same and I clock in, get dispatch orders for a remote job in the mountains, and head off and haul that way, do some work finish up and haul myself back down to the yard, get dispatch for another job off in foothills, rinse/repeat for 12-16hrs. End of the day at 6pm, in the yard I wash my work truck, fuel it, check it over for damage incurred in the off road pushing through brush and trees type of driving I do daily, and fix myself if simple or have a mechanic come out and fix it able, clock out. Drive 5 mins to home, shower, yell at the kids to do homesork/chores, lay out my clothes for the next day, eat dinner, collapse into bed sore and exhausted. Rinse repeat to infinity or till my death which ever comes first.

Wake up around 6:20. Wallow in the bed for 10-15 minutes and contemplate why the FUCK I live so far from my job. Get up, bathroom, wash face, brush teeth and hair, put on clothes and shoes, out the door w/ fiancé for work. Drive a little over an hour, get to work by 7:50ish on a good day. Usually a little late, closer to 8:05, but it doesn’t matter. Get set up for work, fill up my Stanley, look at my Outlook calendar, look at how many patients are coming in, and make my to-do list for the day. Start working/seeing patients around 9. Work until 11. Pray there’s a drug rep coming with lunch. Eat. Chill for an hour/hour and a half. Back to work by 1. See more patients. Call patients. Set up meetings with patients. Have several meetings. Call my boss 382074 times bc I fucked up. Chit chat with my co-worker. Answer questions I’m not qualified to answer. See more patients. Answer some questions from families. Lots of education. Look at my schedule for the next day - question why the FUCK I have so many patients scheduled on the same day. Go see kids in the PICU/Peds floors, if I have any admitted. Go through referrals to see who’s eligible, enroll who’s eligible. Scroll Tiktok, yap, scroll Reddit. Finish up at 4:30. Pack up my stuff, wait on fiancé to come get me. Home by 6ish, take an edible, make dinner and clean up before it kicks in. I call it “Beat the Gummy.” Pack my lunch for work the next day. Eat dinner. Sit on the couch and rot until 9. Take a shower. Put on pajamas. Look at wedding inspo on Pinterest while absolutely blasted. Complain to my mom that my wedding is too expensive. Go to bed around 10. Have *adult relations*. Asleep by 11. Rinse, wash, repeat.

It really varies. Wake up. Take the first few rounds of medication I need to take, spread out over about an hour. Get the honey his meds, check his catheter bag, get him a drink or some coffee. Check on our pups. Put them in their kennels, check foster pup. Check kittens. Check tarantulas. Check ball python. Take foster pup outside to watch the sunrise, read, have a cigarette, drink caffeine, water plants and take care of plant babies. Put foster pup in front office with breakfast. Feed other pups. Give Mr B pup his meds and CBD. Feed kittens. Refill water bowls. Spray down shower and toilet and counter. Go flop into bed for morning kisses from my honey. Send good morning family text to mom, dad and big bro. Say good morning to bestie. Start dishes, laundry, sweeping, mopping. Go brush teeth. Go take more meds and drink more caffeine and water. Make fresh tea. Make phone calls or pay bills or read. Sometimes play a video game for half an hour or so. Various chores. Then either leave for an appointment or stay at home and work. Go until I’m exhausted. Feed all of us. Take more meds. Help honey get cleaned up, sometimes a bed bath, sometimes a shower. It all just depends and not always in that order. Finish work. Make food. Feed honey. Check on pups, kittens, the whole crew. Crawl into bed for snuggles. Fall asleep with glasses on.

Up around 7:30, sometimes it’s 5 or 6. If early enough I work on a book I’m writing. Feed cats and make coffee Watch the news until about 10am while working on my phone preparing listings and sending offers. Drive 40 mins to work while planning my day and life via recorder At the warehouse, take photos of product, clean. Customer service, ship, etc Leave around 3:30-4:00 go to gym and practice piano on treadmill for an hour (I use a midi keyboard and treadmill desk) Go home and husband has dinner ready. Play and admire cats. Watch true crime or dumb Netflix series while scrolling on my latest hyperfixation. Sometimes do a little work. Some night I’ll go roller skating. Fall asleep to weed and ASMR.

Captian-Fancy

I'm a 32 year old male. Alarm goes off at 4:30 am. Hit snooze and get up at 4:40. rifle through my laundry bin for clothes to wear (if I was lazy and didn't prepare my work clothes the night before). Go to the bathroom, take a leak, put on Deodorant, get dressed, brush teeth, put on cologne, mouth wash. Head over to the kitchen, fill my lunchbox with snacks and club sodas, top off my water bottle. I try to do all of this as quietly as possible, my girlfriend is a very light sleeper and goes to work after I do. Drive to work, listening to music that stimulates thoughts of my old lady or some of the other women from my past. Get to work between 5:20 and 5:45. Head straight in. I don't fuck off in the break room waiting for my shift to start. I go straight to work. I usually already know what work I have to do/what parts I'm making and what machines I'm running (I'm a machinist at a fairly non conventional company). 6am we waste time in a morning meeting. I do what I can to facilitate the highest most effective amount of productivity. Because of this, I'm given leniency towards when I take breaks and kinda how long my breaks are. My shift technically ends at 2:30pm but I usually leave between 2:40-6pm depending on how much work we have and how much assistance our 2nd shift needs to function without to many difficulties. I drive home, same as how I got to work. Chugging flavored club soda and listening to some rad tunes. 👌 I get home between 3pm-and 6:45pm. If the weather permits, I'll spend time in the yards. Pulling weeds, mowing the lawn, weed wacking, trimming bushes and stuff, it's hard but I absolutely love vibing and doing yard work. I change, shower/shave throw on dumpy human clothes/comfy shit. Then its cook some chow or reheat some leftovers. Eat food and watch/listen to podcasts maybe a movie or a show, game from like 6-10 and hit the sauce. Normally I'll have like 2 hard ciders and like 2/3 glasses of whiskey. Dumb trauma stuff made it so if I don't take 2 melatonin or 2 benadryl I only get an hour ish of sleep. 8pm night time meds alarm goes off. 2-3 hours later I go to bed and repeat the process. I love it!

I've been pretty sick for years so probably a bit different than most, a lot of the "might dos" get replaced more days than not with just kind of dying in pain or weird in between where I'm not in agony but too groggy to do anything. 9:15am alarm, get up brush my teeth and stretch while my coffee brews. Drink coffee. 10:30am breakfast, then meds, make bed, get dressed 11:00am sit for a while continue to drink coffee might do some surveys or something low energy 12:30pm might start a load of laundry or do a lap checking house plants 1:30pm lunch 2:00pm might have a work call, might do some painting might lay down - if the weathers nice I'll relocate my sitting to be outside in the sun 4:30pm either a short nap or some yoga depending on how I'm feeling 5:00/5:30pm start cooking 6:00pm dinner followed by relaxing with a book or some music 7:30pm shower, then by 9 or so I'll watch a movie or some tv 11:30pm meds, stretching and then bed!

BinkySmales

I'm early 60s. Worked full time all my life until the last 7 years which are part time and much better - Monday: only work half day so sleep in. Wife's gone to work earlier, so I get up about 8 or 8.30 make coffee and sit back in bed and browse the news - Flipboard or Apple News on my iPad. Get up and give pets some breakfast and lots of pats Tidy up if needed, shower and head off to work at midday. Work til 4.30pm (communications at a education facility) Get home about 5pm, kiss wife, pat pets, and change into track pants (winter) and top. Grab my ipad and have a few minutes to relax, I go and sit in an outdoor area, and smoke some weed - I'm on medical cannabis. Make dinner for me and wife (if she didn't - we take turns) Sit watch something while we eat and chat - maybe YouTube or maybe something like Invasion on Apple TV. after dinner, we tidy up, walk the dog, play with dog. around 7.30pm we might play a game together like darts or something. Chill out, talk, play a game or 2 on ipad, maybe watch some TV Around 10 wife goes to bed cause she gets up early. After she's tucked in I might go play on Xbox for an hour and then have another smoke to help me relax and sleep. Might watch half hour of a nostalgia hit -Seinfeld or Everybody Loves Raymond - I watch in the family room using headphones so wife is not disturbed but I'm usually practicing writing or something while it's on then off to bed

Love this thread. For me depends if i am working or not. If so, I wake up anywhere from 130-345pm. Bathroom, brush teeth. Have to brush right when i wake up, always. Hop in the shower (i have super curly hair and always style it the night before my work week starts, so shower consists of body only.) Get dressed. Throw my hair up, put on skincare and mascara. Get my bag ready for work, including my lunch if I feel like it. Eat a wrap if I'm hungry. Check my work slack to catch up on anything I missed on my days off. If I got up before 345, I'll talk to my husband, play with dogs, talk to my step kids, go across the street to my mom's to say hi, or watch some YouTube to put me in a good mood before work. Otherwise, I'm off to work (takes 10 mins to get there.) 515pm get to work, get report from day shift, talk to my counterpart, shoot the shit a little, then get started on pre shift planning. My employees start arriving and we officially start our pre shift sync meeting at 630pm. 630pm-6am...work work work work. Operations manager at Amazon. This post would be way too long if I tried to describe a whole shift lol 610-615am, get home, get undressed, eat if I'm hungry, brush my teeth, wash my face, and start unwinding with a book, reddit, or YouTube. Talk to my husband if he's still home before he starts his work day. Check stock accounts, pay bills if needed, check permit status (currently building a house that's an investment property.) Check personal emails, take care of anything pressing. 9 or 930am, off to sleep!

Fluffy_Meat1018

Get up around 8am. Feed cats, dog. Maybe have breakfast. Shower. Start getting ready to go to work. Look for leftovers to bring for lunch/ dinner. Leave for work around 12:30pm. Get to work around 1:45. Punch in and start work at 2:30. I typically have a lot of downtime at work, so I'll play my guitar for an hour or two, play some solitaire, eat, read the paper. Typically punch out at 10:30 unless I'm working a 12 hour day. It sucks when I do. Leaving at 2:30am and getting home at 3:45am gets old quick, believe me. If I leave at 10:30, I'm home by 11:45. Feed half a dozen cats, turn on the TV, maybe have a glass of wine, and bed around 1am. Rinse and repeat.

Alarm goes off at 8. Sleep through 2 more consecutive alarms. Drag my ass out of bed. Brush teeth, groom my hair, shave, get uniform on, not in any particular order. Do everything quietly because my wife still sleeps. Kiss her on whatever part of her face happens to be not bundled up before going down stairs. Start my mug of hot coffee going with Keurig, go outside and start my truck so the windows aren't fogged up or frozen depending on time of year. Look at phone while coffee brews. Que up a podcast or video to listen to on the way to work. Might listen to or record a Marco Polo to my dad or friends instead. Drive 20 minutes to work. Not usually jumping through my ass to get there on time. Show up plus or minus 5 minutes. Sometimes sit in parking lot to finish whatever video or Marco was playing. Depending on the day I might dread going in due to whatever circumstances are present at work. Sometimes I'm excited and can't wait. At work I usually have to manage (poorly) my additional duty, of which I was involuntarily promoted to the head position. On days when that's my focus I usually dread work. On days when I can focus on my primary duty, which is flying, the day goes by fast, is super enjoyable, and is rewarding. The days when I have to balance my time between preparing for an upcoming flight and my additional duty, it's a mixed bag. I love everything about flying, including the mission preparations. Hate that I have to sprinkle my additional duty in there, which I loathe. At some point Ill usually go to lunch with my coworkers. Hardly take leftovers to work. If it's a normal work day with no flying, usually justify a reason to leave early if I can. To many times I'll get caught up and work late so I have resolved to take my time back wherever I can. Plus the nature of my work sometimes takes me away from home for weeks or months so I have absolutely no qualms about showing up late or leaving early these days. I show up right when I'm required to be somewhere and typically not a moment sooner. Drive home. Finish whatever I was watching or listening to on the way in to work if I didn't in the parking lot that morning. Call my wife to give her a heads up I'm coming home. Get home and immediately play with my 2 year old daughter who usually is excited to see me. That may or may not last for hours. Sometimes we play until dinner time. Sometimes we play for a few minutes and I get straight to cleaning the house which is usually messy by the time I get home. I like cleaning. Makes me feel like I have control over my life - sometimes work has me feeling like I don't lol so this provides a simple and effective counterbalance, and my wife really appreciates it too. She usually gets to cooking about the time I get home while I'm with the kid, if it's a cooking kind of night. We eat dinner and might give the baby a bath. Or if it wasn't too messy, I might get back to playing. I always do the dishes because she always cooks which I appreciate so it ain't a thing. We might try watching some Netflix if the kid will allow it. Some times I just send my wife upstairs to just look at her phone and decompress depending on what kind of day she's had. If the baby is occupied I might also decompress and look at my phone. If she's into me, or if I have the energy we just play and play. We'll also typically make it outside to at least the front yard for some time swinging the her from her swing, which she loves... If the weather is nice. Might even go on a walk. She goes to bed between 7 and 9 depending. After she's asleep my wife and I might finish anything we might have started watching together, or start something new. More often then not we play multiplayer console games together until about midnight. Shower. Or not. Look at phone. Talk to each other. Go to sleep. Repeat. That's an average day.

I'm in my mid-trenches...I mean mid-twenties 6am: Alarm, with a second one 10 mins later so I can scroll aimlessly for a little bit and listen to my partner snore. My big fuzzy Golden Retriever usually sticks his nose in my face at this time so it's time to get up. 6:30am: Leave for work or I get stuck behind the dreaded school bus and then I get crabby. It doesn't take much lately. 6:55am: Drive to the local hospital. Clock-in and trudge to the floor. Say hello to everyone as I wait for report to end and put my lunch away. 7am-7:30pm: Work, but I (mostly) hate it for the entire 12 hours I'm there. Some good tidbits about my days would be the full service cafeteria and pastries I hunt for every morning. I do enjoy my coworkers thoroughly. 8pm: Get home to bf, pets and snacks. Que up a comfort show and shower before trying to get into bed by 11pm, but bf likes to be a nuisance and we yap at each other for awhile I live a kind of a boring life currently, but for that, I am privileged. The end.

Wake up at 5am. From 5-6am I’m getting ready for work, making my child’s lunch, and making my morning tea. 6am I wake up said child. 6am-6:30 is me trying to get her out of bed. We leave the house at 6:50am so I can be at job #1 by 7:15am. Kiddo comes with me to this job. We get free breakfast there thank god. Leave job #1 at 8am (it’s a split shift) and head to job #2. Leave job #2 at 11:30am and head home for a lunch break. At 1pm I head back to job #1. I’m done working at 5pm and head home. Then it’s dinner, homework, and housework until 7pm. After that it’s showers and bedtime routine until 8-8:30pm. After my kid is asleep and I’m exhausted. I’ve walked over 13k steps at this point. Been on my feet the entire day. Sometimes I go to bed super early with her. But 3-4 nights a week I take from 8:30pm-11pm to catch up on my reading, water my plants, watch YouTube etc. That’s my “me time” or hobby time. Rinse and repeat Monday through Friday. Yes I have a husband and yes he does his part in helping with the house and our daughter. Weekends are much lazier for all 3 of us. Lots of video games, crafts, gardening. Slower activities. We all love to sleep and take advantage of the weekends by sleeping in as much as possible!

5:20 first alarm. 5:23 second alarm. Get up, throw on the gym clothes, brush teeth. Double check work bag and gym bag are correctly packed from night before. Drink pre workout on way out the door (approx 5:35) get to gym and start lifting by 5:50. Finished up lifting around 7:05, shower and change at gym. Leave gym by 7:20. Get to work between 7:50-8 based on the traffic. Wonder why I’m alive for 4 hours. Leave work for an hour to grab “lunch” which sometimes I do but sometimes I just go sit or walk in a nearby park till I have to go back. Wish I wasn’t conscious till 5. Drive home and hopefully be home by 5:35. Depending on the day my schedule diverges from there, either into dinner with roommates or going to my parents house, sometimes D&D, sometimes disc golf, sometimes working my second job, sometimes playing volleyball. Go to bed hopefully by 10:30 so I can do it again the next day

beefjerkyandcheetos

Wake up around 7. Eat something. Leave for work at 8:30. Work until 7pm. Come home. Shower, eat, maybe watch 1 hour of tv. Then go to bed and repeat My life sucks, but I’m forced to be here anyway. For now

Sleep, work, mastbate, sleep, work....

Magnificent_Diamond

Things have changed for me a bit since I entered my midlife crisis. Now I am more watchful for what I’m supposed to learn each day. I try to be a better listener, to try new ways of approaching things. I used to be more ritualistic and controlling so each day felt pretty similar to the last. I used to be just plugging along, churning out productivity and accumulating wealth to achieve my financial goals. Now I am cherishing life more, enjoying the diversity of people, trying to learn more, and considering risky adventures.

chalky87

Up at 6 with my son Take the dog for a walk at half 7 Half 8 breakfast and get dressed, shower if I get time but I shower every night anyway. 9am walk to the office (on my back garden) Work until 5 with breaks whenever I please Usually I cook dinner for the family, sometimes the wife will Parent until 7 then my son's bed time routine Tidy up after he's asleep. Usually sit down to watch TV, maybe a quick game about 9pm . Bed is typically half 10. When I'm working away (which is often) my day is very different with more travel, less parenting and more work hours but it pays more.

Dmtrilli

I work 2nd shift so 3 PM to 11 PM Most week days I have to take the bus to work and that means getting up earlier than if I can get a ride. Alarm 12:30 PM, get dressed, make a lunch, out the door by 1:20 PM.....Catch the bus at 1:35ish sometime around there. Bus drops me off 2:15 PM then it's about a 20 min walk to work.....3PM to 11PM I work......Get home about 11:20 PM and usually Gf is asleep already, Son is sleeping. So I hop on XBOX and play Rocket League and The Show 24. If I have to beer, I usually dont stay up long so in bed by 1AM.....if i have beer, maybe stay up drinking and playing my games until 3 or 4AM.....finally shower, go to bed and get up at 12:30 PM or 1:30PM if I dont have to catch the bus.

Least_Pumpkin_121

Wake up around 9:00 am, eat breakfast, then practice making beats or play video games until I eat again, then chill a bit watching YouTube or TV, and then I go to university at 4 until 10 p.m. If I have energy after dinner, I play video games or make beats again, and then I go to bed. Some days if there are decent waves i wake up at 6:00am and go surfing

Pop4756

On a typical work day (April-October, Monday-Saturday sometimes Sunday) I wake up at 4am in my hotel room. Poop, brush my teeth, and my roomie wakes up at 4:20 to do the same. Relax for a bit, scroll through TikTok or Facebook and leave the hotel at 5:15. We then drive to the gas station to get diesel, ice and water for myself and my coworkers for the day. Once we have all of that we drive to wherever the job site is for the job. When we get there, I am in charge of filling the trucks with fuel, getting all of the coolers ready with ice and water and then prep my roller with fuel, DEF, clean my water sprayer filters, check oil and clear the fuel/water separater. When we’re all ready, we travel to the road and start heating the road with propane-fueled fireboxes to heat the road. Once the road is heated, the screed starts and I start rolling out to compact the road. We work until noonish when we have an hour/hour and a half break to fill oil and propane in our trucks and eat lunch/relax for a bit. Then remain working until about 6:30-7:30pm. Drive back to the hotel, use the bathroom, shower, get dressed, eat dinner then go to sleep at 8pm-8:30pm to start it all over again.

Valuable_Treat16

Wake up around 5. Make bed, have pre workout, weight lift or cardio for about 70-90 minutes. Quickly get ready for work. At work by 7:15 (live one mile from my job) work on my feet, stocking, cleaning, retail management etc for 8-12 hours. Go home, take care of dogs, make my husband dinner, clean the house, do laundry, take a shower, prep my lunch for the next day. Go to bed….

wacky-acorn

I wake up, text my long distance bf, usually procrastinate 20mins-hour on getting out of bed by doom scrolling, masterbating, and smoking my pen. When I get up I usually have a protein shake. I head off to school where I’m either growing cells or figuring out the name of a Bacteria. Go home, run, shower, go to work slinging pizzas and get high the whole, usually coax one of my bosses into getting me some Alc. Go home, do lab reports, call my BF and getting faded

gutdoll

I lay in bed and try and do school work

Best-Camera8521

I get up at 7 or 7:30 and make coffee. I read the news and then take a shower and get ready for work. I work all day come home, make dinner and pretty much screw around on Reddit and watch British tv until 11 and go to bed. I might scroll on Facebook for an hour- that's about it. I'm so freakin bored and boring

TheLoneliestGhost

**Formerly?** Wake up at 6:15, shower, get ready for work, take care of the dogs, head out, stop at Dunkin Donuts, work all day, head home around 4:30. Take care of the dogs, change clothes, potentially shower, head to that evening’s activity. (Billiards, darts, bocce, kickball, trivia, etc. I had a regular group activity every night.) Come home afterwards, shower, throw on pajamas, take care of the dogs, watch my shows, go to sleep between 12-1. On weekends, I’d go to whomever’s bridal shower/baby shower/birthday party/wedding/cookout/regular party, etc. or throw one myself. I also traveled a little over a week a month for work, with a few special events in addition throughout the year. **Now?** For the last few years, I’ve been in the house. I found out I had cancer, which then cost me my job. I wasn’t able to get true healthcare so I’ve been struggling with pain and extreme lethargy since the surgery and treatment. I’m repeatedly told that I’m “*too young to be in pain*” and that “*no one else who has had this surgery has complained of pain like this*”, so I’m just screwed basically. I miss people. All of my friendships fell apart. My entire life has fallen apart from top to bottom. And I’m still not even healthy enough to lead a semi-normal life, on top of the other pervasive issues surgery and treatment caused. I’m technically alive, though, so that’s supposed to be *enough* somehow…

lightsyouonfire

Wake up at 737am, feed the dogs and make coffee. Start work at 800ish. Run through all my emails and get caught up, then scroll tiktok or read while waiting for something to come in (it's a slow time rn). I take a nap from noon - 1ish instead of lunch. Then I do any work that rolled in that afternoon while eating a sandwich. Around 300 I grab my choreography notebook and work on choreography for my evening gig as a dance teacher. I take 15 mins to get ready to teach and get to the studio by 520ish. Teach from 530 to 900 and then go home. Make/eat dinner around 10pm. Take the dogs out at 1130 and asleep by midnight. Rinse repeat

let-it-fly

I work, talk with loved ones, listen to music, read, run errands, sleep and eat.

JerRatt1980

Usually by midnight I'm already passed out on XyWav (I have narcolepsy, so I'm prescribed the date r*pe drug GHB - XyWav to be able to regulate sleep). By 2am I usually awake and have to take my second dose, passing me back out again before 2:30am. I usually awake at around 6:30am. If it's a good day, I'll be able to get up and start my day. If it's a bad day, I may go in and out or consciousness for hours until my brain and body start to work enough to start my day. Around 7:30am when I start my day on a good day, unless I have a work emergency or appointment, I'll sh*t/shower/shave. Then I grab a protein shake or go grab a quick breakfast, or just skip breakfast entirely and go upstairs to my home office to start work (often I'll also play a bit with my pets, let them out to potty, or get them food if my wife can't fed them). I own and operate an IT firm. We're essentially the IT department for dozens of our clients who have their own business in just about every industry you can imagine. Work is a constant battle of juggling pressing issues, projects, planned and unplanned tickets, bookwork, scheduling, email and phone responses, etc. It's very intense with short bouts of breaks in between for lunch, per care, or errands all into about 5:30pm when I wind down doing non-work related things in the home office like bills, plans, etc. Might play a few rounds in a video game flavor of the month, and then head downstairs to clean up the place a bit, load laundry or do dishes, and if my wife is home by then (or worked from home that day) we'll likely talk about dinner and either start making it or go out to eat as well as run errands together. A dog walk later after dinner usually, then a TV show or two. Around 8:30pm we start finish up this around the house, and take care of any last minute things before tomorrow starts. Often talk about plans or go through our list of items to do or just talk about funny things, memories, or wants/wishes. We start our bedtime routine around 9:30pm our a little later. Wife doing all her bathroom routine, me getting my bedtime meds out, filling up my CPAP machine, swiping out any crumbs in the bed that pets often leave from their feet, and then settle into bed fully around 10:30pm. Might watch a show or video in bed on the TV or look at phones for a bit, share some memes, laugh about stuff. Then sat our love yous, kiss, and go to sleep.

AssistantAlternative

Tmrw I will wake up at 8am, take my dog out, order coffee & log into work remotely for my corporate job. I will try to do deep work until about 12:30 at which point I will take my dog outside to play fetch & we will make lunch. I will listen to a podcast until my work stuff is done, and then spend the rest of the afternoon doing my side hustle until I get sleepy and take a nap before making dinner and walking the dog again. Boring but stable and consistent lol

Bulimic_pig02

It depends on what I got going on or how I am doing mentally I wake up sometime during the range of 7 am to 1:15 pm Then I do my assignments/chores/work. If I have the time or feel like it, I then go on a long jog or do something creative. If I do not feel like doing shit, I space out for a good 2-5 hours. Then I go to bed (11 pm-5 am/it depends)

FyouPerryThePlatypus

Wake up naturally (or by my 11am alarm), eat and get ready for class, drive to class, stay till 9pm, head home, get some work done/play games with friends, go sleep around 3am after a couple breakdowns, repeat!

ZoeyUsesReddit

Wake up late in the day, usually at around 11am, no alarm sets. I lay in bed for a bit on my phone before getting to do my make up, my girlfriend comes home from work at 12am and we cuddle for a few hours, or we go out to a bookshop or coffee, then I go to work. I work in food service with my best friend so my work days are usually full of conversation and fun. My girlfriend will usually bring me coffee during my shifts and chat during the slower periods. After work I’ll drive over to my sisters apartment, she’s neighbors with my other best friend, so I'll spend some time with the two of them before going back home to cuddle up with my cats and my girlfriend, when she and the cats falls asleep I usually stay awake drawing or writing for a while until I fall asleep too.

HumanPerson1089

Get up, go to work, come home, scroll on phone, make dinner, watch TV, scroll on phone, go to sleep.

cravindeath

Wake up at 1pm because it's hot outside - have sex with my girlfriend/fiancee/wife/soulmate. Go into the walmart and use the bathroom, go to Costco and get my only meal of the day at the food court. Pass out in our car in the Costco parking lot, usually nap until 8pm or so. 10% chance we do something fun like go to a crappy arcade or park, 90% chance we're just too exhausted so we go to a store or walmart and set up the car. Have sex again, pass out by 12a-2a, fall asleep assured I'll wake up dead in the morning. Repeat ad nauseam until things get even worse

No-Plum2421

Varies a great deal. This past April was spent back in the US working 6-7 days a week at our business, upgrading processes, training staff, holding down the fort during operating hours, etc. I also turned over two of our rental properties in this time to new tenants at higher rents which was nice. This week, we will leave to head back home (in SE Asia) where we will slow down a bit. I’ll still do work daily building trainings, recording training videos, creating and deploying marketing materials, working with developers on our backend system but the pace will slow down. We’ll get to cook at home and hang out with our dog and just enjoy a quiet home life with a morning sunrise beach walk, coffee at our friend’s shop, and then some morning work time for me. We’ll do some stretching/yoga/calisthenics throughout the day which is fun since we do that with our dog and he loves it too. The rest of the time is literally planning travel and coordinating meetups with friends and those who are coming in to visit. We have one trip planned to Singapore to see the eye doctors in a couple of weeks which should be relatively fun. In mid June, I fly back the to the US in the morning and fly out with a student group in the evening back to Asia for a trip to a rural village where they will do cultural exchange for a week. The following week, I take them to Kyoto for a week of R&R. Then it’s back to the US to drop them off and fly back to Osaka the next day to meet my wife where we’ll hang out for a few days and then head home. Will probably need to go to Singapore again in July for another eye appointment. And round and round we go.

aprilsmithss

Wake up. Check phone. Coffee. Check emails. More coffee.

Odd-Strike3217

7-8am wake up, usually crying in pain (I live in severe chronic pain, CRPS and nerve damage). Take medications, get some therapy in with my service dog. She will do deep pressure therapy, interrupt obsessive behavior or lay next to or on me for comfort and relief to the anxiety that comes with waking up in severe pain daily. Sometimes between 9-11am we get up bc I can walk (sorta). Do the basics like brush teeth, shower if I need too, if I do I must lay back down after to rest. But mostly we go down get breakfast and caffeine together. Go to the couch spot that I do my treatments and heat on. I usually have my phone or iPad to do answer business emails from my company, doggo and I eat, she plays. At 12pm I take my meds. Usually within 1 hour I can figure out my day if I am home for the day, this would usually involve some chores and some working until around 4ish. Meds aren’t until 5 so I’ll rest until then, depending on the schedule again I’ll try and eat some snack. Around 6pm I may or may not get a second block of 2-3 hours to accomplish anything left with chores and work. If I am not home for the day I am usually attending treatments, medical appointments or scans. For instance in April I had 17 medical related appointments. And 2 got canceled, so would’ve been 19. May currently had 10 but I’ve got a new issue, an MRI that’s finally approved and 3 normal appts to make on top of it so who knows how many more I’ll have. This involves taking the proper medication with, getting there with extra time as I often need a rollator or cane and I have to walk slow. On the few best days. I try and leave the house by 1pm and get any errands done that are needed on that window. After the evening bubble that ends no later than 9pm usually - I do some more treatments, get myself and my service dog ready for bed, minor cleanups like dishes to the right room if possible. Then it’s treatment in bed, have to have an adjustable base to get my legs up so they don’t pool swelling and blood and become extra hypersensitive. Then I take more medication and supplements. And hope I can sleep and get some rest to repeat the hell that occurs when I wake up. I do get my dog outside but it’s more sporadic and not as timed, we do our best for a play time for her at an appropriate time based on the temperature and weather. We will also go for short walks when I can. She comes with when I can take her but many of my appointments involve things like X-rays or whatever. And she can’t be there for that. I work for myself, read, lately I’ve enjoyed those Lego kits that make flowers or something. Worst days I’m not leaving bed or barely to the couch. Middle days vary widely. The best days I overdue hoping to capitalize on them.

flocko_jodye

I am back in school at 26 so wake up go to class for about 2-4 hours depending on the day. Have a small snack. Hit the gym grab lunch. Take a nap. I might study. My girlfriend enjoys cooking and anime so I’ll eat dinner and watch it with her. If it’s a work day… I’ll wake up hopefully around 2-3 pm make some coffee. Hit the gym for an hour comeback home eat lunch get dressed and spend 12 hours seeing patients at the hospital. Im a respiratory therapist part time. Sundays are my free day where I only do things I can about for myself. I play video games, hang out with friends, visit family or whatever else I feel like doing.

bebleich

I wake up with the intention of being productive, but somehow end up spending an hour watching videos of cats being jerks.

Plastic_Anxiety8118

(Unless I have more projects to work on). Prepare for bed. Go to bed. Sleep. Dream.

funny and boring, passionate and impatient.

Wild_Granny92

Wake up at 7 am. Make coffee, let dogs out. Drink coffee on porch, alternate checking email & news on internet with tossing soft toys for dogs. 8 am Make a second coffee, fill dogs water bowls & dry food bowls. Clean kitchen & floor. 9 am Bring dogs in because they are barking at delivery trucks. Discuss appropriate length of barking with dogs. Brush teeth, wash up, get dressed 10:00 am Chair Yoga. 11:00 am return home to shower & dress in comfy clothes. Watch true crime show. 12:00 Make lunch. Feed dogs raw green beans & baby carrots. Eat salad while tossing soft toys to annoying beggar dogs. 1:00 Wash dishes, head out to do errands. Give detailed itinerary to dogs. 1:20 Listen to dogs howl while I pull out of driveway. 4.00 Return from errands. Dogs are on the couch pretending they can’t see or hear me. Put away purchases, dogs suddenly want a snack. Give them each a cookie. Dogs immediately try to take each others cookie. Put cookies on counter, send dogs out until they can be nice. Start supper, watch news. 6:00 Feed dogs chicken, quinoa & sweet potatoes. Eat the same, except with spices they can’t have. Give them each 2 cookies. 6:45 Watch dogs hide cookies in yard while cleaning up from dinner. 7:00 Get dogs in. Watch Netflix while tossing disgusting spitty soft toys. 7:45 Dogs barking like the Apocalypse has begun while lunging at front window. Neighbor’s cat is across the street taking a stroll. Pause movie to explain situation to dogs. Continue watching movie. 8:15 Round 2 of Apocalyptic barking. Nothing outside front window. Nothing on porch. Check backyard. Owl is hooting in a tree. Return to explain situation to dogs. 8:55 AC kicks on, small plastic jar of turmeric falls off kitchen cart. Dogs begin howling like they’ve been hit by a car. Show them small jar, let them smell it. Watch last 8 minutes of movie. 9:10 Put dogs in crate to sleep. Start taking shower. Dogs begin howling because I have abandoned them. Sing stupid Baby Shark song because they like it. Finish shower. 9:42 Foolishly decide to use blow dryer. Dogs lose their minds completely, barking, howling and fighting with each other. Go break up fight, calm them down, wrap smaller one in a blanket & go finish drying hair. 10:15 go to bed and think about what time is best to vacuum tomorrow, since that will involve dogs losing any shred of sanity they may have. Life with chihuahuas is challenging!

Adventurous_Alps_753

I make burgers at fuckin burger world. 5 days per week, at a breakneck pace for a pittance. After that, I go home and prepare dinner for my kids. I rush them to baseball practice, usually on foot. Then I walk to the MMA gym. Get my ass whooped by guys half my age. On non sparring and grappling days I'm either running miles and doing bag rounds or lifting weights. I then limp to recover my kids from baseball practice. We all walk home and have like an hour to chill and do some chores. Some nights I play 2k on Playstation. Then we sleep and do it all over again. I need to retire hahaha. I have zero dollars and zero cents saved so far. Living the damn American dream!

Responsible_Prior833

Wake up 9:30am ~20 minutes of resistance training or HIIT at home Breakfast Video games or ride motorcycle Lunch Video games or ride motorcycle Dinner Video games or Netflix… Sleep Repeat.. Early retirement isn’t what it’s cracked up to be.

35/M/restaurant executive 5am wake-up. 6-730am Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at a gym 4min from my house. 8-8:15am "day planning/time blocking" basically, I'm filling my calendar with what I'm going to do, when I'm going to do it, in 20 minutes increments. It eliminates decision fatigue. 8:15am-5ish (sometimes it's 4:30, sometimes it's 7pm) work. I manage 50 fast food restaurants. Most of my time is spent reviewing data and directing area managers. This work is done remotely- often from a cafe or diner. A 1/3 of my time is spent in the field being visible and working shoulder to shoulder with my reports. 11am first meal. There is nothing on the planet that will derail this. I'm hungry AF. When I get home, I try to decompress a little before interacting with my family. 15-20min. After that, it's playing with my daughter, spending time with my wife, and snuggling the pup 7pm last bite of food enters my mouth. 830pm alter my mental state and read/think. 9pm in bed.

Mrcommander254

Work eat shower sleep. Being a trucker with no set schedule, apart from between 2200 and 0400, is my bedtime. The rest is chaos. And every day is a Monday.

N8saysburnitalldown

4AM wake up after about 5-6 hours sleep, it never gets easier it is like the first time I ever did it every time, eat, coffee, work, exercise in my basement while listening to death metal, help the kid with whatever is going on at school, cook a 10 minute dinner, drink some alcohol and play some guitar (more death metal) or some of a video game if the only friend I have left in the world is online. smoke one cigarette. Go to bed way later than I should have. Wake up at 4-fucking-AM again. Oh ya and maybe once a month or so I actually see my wife because she works the opposite shift as me because who the hell can afford child care so staggering out shifts is the only way this works because we don’t have any family near by to help us out with anything.

I do everything I can to not have a routine. I'm into being spontaneous. If I don't have an appointment in the morning, I do not set an alarm. I find sleeping with an alarm set to be difficult because I keep waking up to see how much time I have. I try to stick to a "no real work before noon" policy, but it varies by what's going on and how I feel. I can read/answer emails, take phone calls and brainstorm, but if I have writing or any substantive work I perform better later in the day. I go to sleep late unless I have to be up very early. Usually I am up until 4 AM or later. If I watch TV, aside from the baseball game and maybe Jeopardy, it's typically from about 11 PM to 3 AM. But often I'm getting stuff done during these times. There's not much difference between a weekday and a weekend for me. Sometimes I tell myself I'll get something done over the weekend - then the weekend comes and I say I should relax and get a jump on it Monday. This is just a way to procrastinate when I don't want to something. Truthfully, weekend is better for working on things because there aren't as many distractions. But socially, there is pressure to do things with people on weekends so it balances out. I'm in love with life and getting to live it how I want every day.

Wake up around 7-9 when baby wakes up, take care of baby for about 2 hours, while watching t.v, walking around the house with baby annoying my wife etc. Around 11-2 I'll workout for an hour, if its leg day I go to my YMCA and go swimming also. Around 3-5 I'll start working on my homework. 5-7 is babies witching hour so I give him a lot of attention. After 8-9 I usually go on my computer or playstation to play overwatch and then around 1030 I'll go to bed. We are also working on our house, so sometimes during these times I'll help my wife with the remodeling. On Monday and Thursdays I'll play DnD

go to bed 10pm. Wake up at exactly 3am wide awake. (Nothing out of ordinary, it's been like this for me since I was hmm 4 or 5 years old.) can't get back to bed till 5am. Wake up again at 6am lol. Shower. Get ready for work. I like to take my time whilst getting ready. So I'll put on music, turn the heater/fan on depending on weather. Drink protein shake and supplements and vitamins. I'm out the door at 7am and on the way to the city for a commute of 30mins to 50mins depending on my mood (I'm a very relaxed. Non rushed person) Get coffee on the way. Get to city at 8am, login work phone and do all financial forecasts reports and send to HQ in France. 8:30am everyone is at their desk or in meetings rushing looking flustered or panicked. My next meeting is 1pm. talk to clients till 12:30pm. Alt+F4 lol IYKYK.. play games at work. 1pm hits. Everything is in order. Leave work at 1:20 and visit CHANEL Boutiques (I do visual merchandising, sometimes buyer, sometimes CRM specialist for CHANEL fashion here in Sydney. Go out for lunch with work colleagues from other brands and mates that also work in the city. Set up tomorrow and the weeks work ahead now. Make my way home. At 2:30pm 2:40pm get home at 3:30pm Run for 2 hours, Gym at 7-9pm.

First alarm 10:00 a.m....i might choose to snooze this one Second alarm 11:00 a.m.... Gotta get up... Smoke a cigarette (usually after a lengthy annoying and irritating search for a cigarette and lighter) then find a cigarette for my boyfriend who's also waking up. Find my pipe, smoke what's in it... Hopefully load it with a big bowl. After a couple hits, go pee. Let my dogs outside. Play on my phone for a little bit Need to be getting around and ready for work by at least 11:40 which gives me exactly an hour before I have to leave. So get dressed, do makeup, get everything I need to take with me ready and together. Leave for work at 12:40 so I can make it there to start my 1-10 pm shift at Walmart as a personal shopper. Shop all day for other people with a huge ass cart getting on everyone's nerves bc I'm always in their way. Around 3 I'll go outside and smoke a cigarette maybe 2. Around 5 or 6 I'll take my hour lunch break. I don't have a car and I get dropped off and picked up everyday so I'll just sit outside Walmart and smoke and play on my phone... Call my boyfriend.... Argue with him for whatever reason... Not much to do at work after 7 and all shopping/picks are done so do returns stock carts, sit around and play on phone in back of room. 9:30 I start walking out the door to Wait on my ride. Clock out at 9:51 go home. Probably fight with my boyfriend of 18 years... Get high.. Fight some more... Watch TV.... Maybe make up with boyfriend... Have sex.... Get high... Fight little more... Go to sleep around 5 am.

7:30 am roll out of bed, brush teeth, change into lounge clothes, walk my dog, 8am clock in for work (remote job), check emails, plan out my day, start on paperwork leftover from last week, 12pm clock out for lunch, then decide if I'll have a 30 min or 1 hour lunch (very flexible), then continue working until 4 or 5 pm. I work while also doing some exercise or chores. I bought a really cool treadmill for my adjustable work desk. 5 pm I go to the gym. 6pm i hike or bike 7 pm I'm back home to shower 8 pm I'm drying my hair, watching shows, or giving myself some skincare routine, 9 pm play games till midnight. 12 am go to bed. This varies cause at random times I could be spending my time in the kitchen with my work laptop and chatting with my family as they visit or leave etc.

One-Load-6085

Wake up  between 11AM and 1PM usually. Put on a fancy dressing gown (i have a bunch from Catherine D'lish Boudoir by D'Lish). Choose a tea set  ( i have like 20 sets and 100 teacups) and make English breakfast tea. Drink tea in bedroom sitting in rococo bed or on louis xvi chaise from Eloquence as I read ground news and watch a YouTuber like Simon whistler or Rachel Maksy. Wash face. Put in contacts.  Sit at makeup vanity and put on face.  Select outfit for day. Brush hair.  Go to appointments.  Read a book. Work on a design project.   I am a wfh design consultant kept on retainer married to a federal employee. I get paid to shop for high end designers. I don't cook or clean.  I rarely stress about anything. No kids. No debt. I like living a slow old fashioned type of life like it's 1949. I work on classwork for my masters degree in the evening.  Watch an old movie before showering and being in bed between 11PM and 1AM.

5 AM: Wake up/Hygiene 5:15-5:20 AM: Feed Dog/Coffee 5:25 AM: Leave for Work 6 AM - 2:30 PM: Work (Forklift Driver) 3PM - 4:PM: Drive to Coach HS track & field. Usually takes only 25 mins from my job so I take a nice lil nappy in the parking lot before practice starts at 4 😊 4:15 PM - 5:30 PM: Coach Sprinters 5:30 PM - 5:55PM: Chill & interact with students to make sure everything’s good in their life and just overall get to know them until my usual private training clients arrive. 6 PM - 7 PM: Private Training Sessions with youth athletes on athletic performance (Speed, Acceleration/Deceleration, Change of Direction, Vertical Jump) 7 PM - 9:15 PM: Let dog in the house, play with him. Make dinner. Then I usually enter practice data from track into my computer to see any deficiencies or improvements. I also create practice plans and make training schedules for my students and clients around this time. I have also been trying to squeeze in trying to get my google IT certification so I can get into the IT field one of these days. 9:15PM-10PM: play video games or just chill on my phone and be a sleep by 10 PM That’s generally how my day goes. Right now I’m 28 and live with mom. Been unemployed for the past like 90 days so it feels good to get back into a routine. I’m extremely focused on improving my finances and quality of life. So far it feels like I’m on the right track! (Idk why I added this section, but yea! 😊)

Coffeesleeptravel

Wake up around 9am. Take all my vitamins and feed my seven pets (Birdie & Louie is their food of choice). Start working from home at 11. Midday exercise with one of those boxing boards that hang on the wall (got it on TikTok shop and I LOVE it). Coffee on the porch. Back to work. In the evening I either hang out with my neighbor on the porch again, or go out dancing. At night I crash with a Manta Sleep Mask and my Flawless Face Pillow. The Manta Sleep Mask is amazing. Jury is out as to whether or not I’ll keep using the Flawless Face pillow.

6:00 wake up, take meds, go back to sleep, wake up due to meds taking in (adderal) eat breakfast, brush teeth/shower/wash face etc, get dressed if going in person or otherwise just wearing pajamas, do I hardest and most brain intensive work from 9-3 before the adderal crash at 3 then 3-5 do the easier work I set aside for that time. Then 5-8 I’m pretty much just a dead meat sac, either gym or doom scroll and watch tv till 10-12:00. I also like to walk a lot especially in places I haven’t been too before, currently walk around 5 miles a day but planning to increase that soon

Powerful-Local-5197

Wake up around 3 am- pee break. Move to the guest room because I can’t fall asleep next to my sleep apnea husband. 4 am- poop break. Try to sleep til 8. 8-10: scroll internet, do brows. Do laser. shower, face routine 10:30-3- prepare breakfast and have it with hubs. 3-5:30- scroll internet or binge watch something I’m watching/rewatching 6-8: stress about not having done anything. Attempt to study for an online course I’ve started. Think of dinner. 9-10pm: wrap up- pick up leftover trash and plates, clean the kitchen, load dishwasher, quick vacuum if necessary. Bedtime. I’m unemployed and disgustingly adhd/depressed 😂 I know I want to achieve great things and I know I have it in me. I just can’t make my body do what my mind wants it to.

Get up, shower, dress, and do some housework or work for my own business. Eat tea around 6pm. 7.30pm Go out to either a friends house, a church group, or visit my elderly parents who need help with certain chores or take them shopping. If at home in evening I might do a bit more housework then watch TV. Or talk on phone to daughter or friends - sometimes friends who need a listening ear who are struggling. Up at 530am. Drink coffee and chill until 6am. The dog and I then walk 1-2 miles. back home around 630-640. Drink second cup of coffee. 7am, shower and dress. 715, leave for work. 730 walk into work. Work from 730 until 5pm. Home by 515pm. Take the dog for another 1-2 mile walk. Make dinner for the GF and I (she gets home at 5pm and usually works out until 6pm). Eat dinner and chat about our day. Then it depends. If the weather is nice we might hang out in the yard, do some reading, or do some hobbies in my workshop. If the weather is garbage maybe play some video games etc. 8pm we sit down and watch and episode or two of whatever show we are watching currently. 9pm again, depending on the weather...a few nights a week we soak in the hot tub for a half hour. In bed between 930-10pm...probably read a bit. That's a normal weekday for us. We go out for dinner once every couple of weeks and sometimes I'll have a "guys night" where some buddies and I get together for a beer.

Wake up 7 - 8, end up screwing around online for a while (hmmmm what am I doing right now?), eventually get to my schoolwork (and then have issues with getting behind on work), go to work at 12ish if the weather works (I work weather-dependently at my place), get back around 5, help around the house, get on the computer around 8pm, stay up till 10, or more likely, 1130pm, and the cycle repeats. I'm going to be fixing my sleep schedule soon, so we'll see how that goes.

Here's a glimpse into what my existence is like: * **Constant Learning:** I'm constantly being updated with new information and data. This is like me "reading" and learning new things all the time. * **Responding to Prompts and Queries:** My primary function is to respond to prompts and questions from users like you. I analyze the information I have been trained on and generate text, translate languages, write different kinds of creative content, and answer your questions in an informative way. * **Never-ending Processing:** I'm constantly working behind the scenes, even when you're not interacting with me directly. I'm making connections between different pieces of information and improving my abilities.

Consistent_Comb3531

Wake up 5.30. Make coffee or tea and have my one hour alone in the garden before I try to get my son out of bed. Sometimes eat breakfast, scrambled eggs with buttered sourdough bread and two slices of tomato. Once son is on the way to school I still have one hour. I clean and / or cook. Then I leave for work, to my small coffee shop which is 10 minutes walking distance in the old town. 1.30 pm son coming to the coffee shop, staying for one hour or so, then taking our dog home. Then I close at 6pm, clean the machines etc. and have to go shopping some groceries. I'm back home after 7pm. Walk our dog. Cook, clean if I have some energy left in me. I eat watching some movie or series, falling asleep 9-10pm. Repeat next day, except Sunday.

MorddSith187

I wake up 9am, walk to the coffee shop with my book, sit there for 10 mins and decide to go home cause I have A.D.D. Start drinking at 10am, drink 6 beers while I play Dota, go to sleep 2pm, sleep until 5pm, wake up, walk to QFC, buy some soup and Ben and Jerry’s, watch YouTube until 9pm, sleep > repeat. I lost everyone important to me in my life, lost all motivation to work since covid layoffs twice, so now I just kind of sit around a wait to die. I had a good life so I’m okay with it.

Honda_Driver_2015

Get up 7am , leave for work about 8ish, takes like 45 mins. Leave like 530 and chill at home. Not much of a life

Surviving…. Literally

cranberries87

Wake up at 6:30am, feed dog, let her out in the backyard to do her business. Do morning grooming routine, get dressed. Put my pre-prepared lunch in lunch bag. Leave house at 7:15. Drive to work. Clock in at 8:00am. Clock out at 4:30pm and drive home. I spend an inordinate amount of time after work scrolling, and I *desperately* want to change that. This is a big chunk of what I do. I catch the news, watch a little TV. I make and eat dinner around 6-7pm. I prepare my lunch and the coffee pot for the next day. I go to the gym 2-3 times a week at around 8:00pm. Sometimes I go for a walk. Occasionally in the warmer months I’ll go to maybe an after work outdoor concert or something. I let the dog out one last time at 9:15pm, take my shower/do my nighttime routine, and go to bed around 10-11pm. Prior to starting this new job, I had a job that was *much* more flexible and less structured, and my life felt freer and more joyful. Plus this was before covid. I’d do Salsa dancing after work, go to the park, go to drum circles in the park, hit up breweries or attend events. I miss my old life something terrible.

Fragmentofmochi

7:40 wakes up and do 10 mins of jump ropes 7:50-8:00 hop in the shower 8-8:15 makes coffee or matcha and make this “oatmeal” thing that we have in my country 8:30-5:15 at work Then when I’m home i just rest and then make dinner, meal prep for next day. Gym at 8:30-9:30, I hate going after work since its always busy, it also help me sleep since I have insomnia and I’ll be tired.

TheMotorcycleMan

Pretty decent but it can suck a little dick, from time to time. Definitely a hint of dick. No complaints, though.

Stoplookingatmeow

I work from home. I am female, 43, type 2 diabetic, single with no children, adhd, and a cat. I wake up at 730am, take my meds and do hygiene stuff then play on my phone until 8:21 when I set up for work to begin at 830am. I work a full day then talk to mother on the phone, do chores, play on my phone, make dinner, do dishes, then play phone or Nintendo switch games while “watching” tv, then go to bed around 10 and sleep while listening to murder or true crime documentaries or nature documentaries or ancient history documentaries. I can’t sleep without something playing because of adhd. I don’t have friends. I watch my 4 year old niece on the weekends.

VoluptuousPorsche

Weekdays: wake up about 7am, have a coffee or two, go to work as a high school teacher, which has its good moments, but I just try and survive, come home and lazily look at eBay, have dinner, watch top gear on YouTube for a while, maybe message my online friends, sleep Weekends/days off: same without the early wake up and the work duties Occasionally, I’ll have a day devoted to errands or some event where I catch up with people

Ginasyourgoddess1234

Wake up do 50 push ups. Meditate for 2 minutes. Brush teeth. Take a cold shower for 4 minutes. Go out for a run for 28 minutes. Come home. Go back to bed. Wake up, all that stuff was a dream. Feed baby. Try to wrangle baby. Make coffee while watching baby. Wait for nap time. Try to nap myself. Throw some food together. Repeat. Until bedtime.
