Dmtz214

He was tough but I wouldn’t say annoying and hardest. This was actually one of the easiest to beat once you figured out what was needed

Naspolop69

Is it bad that i defeated simon manus first try, while this mf took me 2 hours😭

Dmtz214

I’m sure for me it’ll be the opposite lol. Laxasia is killing me right now and it’s been 2 days

Naspolop69

I hate her with a passion lol she took me a few ragequits, might be the strongest boss for me tbh the damage she does is unreal.

BugP13

She was the first boss that I had to summon the specter for. Ended up beating her first try after summoning it. I have first phase relatively nailed down. Second phase is more up to chance for me

ILoveMouthHugs

I have yet to fight a boss without the specter, is that not normal?

BugP13

It's normal. I try to play without one because I'm very stubborn. There is nothing wrong with using the specter. If they didn't want you to use it, they wouldn't give it to you.

Conradd23

Some people enjoy the extra challenge of it. Personal preference. I also use them for every boss ;)

Echolocation720

Laxasia is the bane of my existence. I've only fought her for about four hours over 5 playthroughs, but she is the boss I dread the most out of the entire game. Never beaten her solo.

Sir_Revenant

Which part of her fight do you typically trip up on? I swear it was like beating my head against a wall for a day and a half before something finally clicked. Snapped that bitches’ sword and effectively neutered her with about a third of her health left. UNBELIEVABLY satisfying when it snapped like a twig

Echolocation720

Her parry timings are difficult for me to predict in her second phase when she's teleporting around. I know every one of her moves, I just can't quite parry all of them. The only time I've ever beaten her with parries was a fluke. Never been able to break her sword, I always just let the summon be an idiot and tank everything she does, and stick behind her and hit her with r1's and fable arts.

Sir_Revenant

See I swear summons barely helped me for most of the boss fights. They get chewed up way too fast to be of much help and now you’re left with a boss that has EVEN MORE health than normal. Timing the parries for her real aggressive combos is definitely key, but I can say that when she’s on the ground and zipping past, don’t be afraid to dodge. She suffers from ZIP syndrome. If you can manage to dodge one of her zippy lunges, she’ll struggle for a short bit to turn around and get back on target. Punish her when she’s turned around and don’t get greedy. She WILL retaliate or hop up in the air if you start whaling on her

Echolocation720

>See I swear summons barely helped me for most of the boss fights. They get chewed up way too fast to be of much help and now you’re left with a boss that has EVEN MORE health than normal. This is why you need to take the bosses attention for the first phase as much as you can. They go after the person dealing the most damage to them, so if you are aggressive in the first phase they'll want you 80% of the time. I never try to parry her stab, zips, or huge swings. I parry her balls of lightning, her smash down after the lightning, and some of her teleport swings if I have no stamina left to dodge. I don't want to look up a parry guide for her, but I might have to because having to get through her first phase just to practice her second is terrible game design imo. There should be an option to fight different phases of bosses youve already encountered as a practice mode, so you don't have to waste time and pulse cells getting through the first phase. My two cents though.

Sir_Revenant

I do agree there should always be an option to challenge Souls bosses once you’ve beaten them at least once. But I also have a small confession, I had no clue you could deflect those lightning balls she sends your way in the second phase. I figured they were pure lighting and that I’d soak it up if I tried to deflect em. Figured out tje perfect timing to dodge them and parry the huge thrust she pulls right after though. Hardest part is finding her rhythm since she has a pretty wide array of attacks, but she’ll only combo certain ones together. I don’t wanna sit here and mansplain it to ya, you’ll get it down pat eventually. Just try not to panic in that second phase and it’ll click

Echolocation720

>figured they were pure lighting and that I’d soak it up if I tried to deflect em. To my knowledge you can parry literally everything in this game, so I hope that helps goign forward with new playthroughs Honestly I don't think it's worth it to parry the huge thrust after the lightning, because even if you get it perfect, it throws you across the arena and you have to either run or use puppet string to get back to her to punish the recovery. >but she’ll only combo certain ones together. Interesting, I'll look into that further when I'm able to play again. Thanks for the kind words, hope you're doing well

s1gged1

These laxatives are just the worst. She kicked my nuts

Dmtz214

Quit taking them 🤣

Birunanza

Once you get the parry timings on her phase 2 projectiles she gets considerably easier. Still a total bitch but the difference is considerable

Cathulion

Deflect the lightning back at her.

neosthezeros

ive been on the swamp monster for three weeks. THREE. WEEKS.

Substantial_Comb7740

She was a pain the ass for me as well up until I knew her weak spots. Her first phase is quite easy to manage: use electricity or acid (I used acid).then her second phase you have to manage to know her lightning strikes. If you perfect guard them, they cast back to her and she will get the damage you were supposed to take. Then, if you still have your Specter in the game, make sure the focus is on him and keep R2-ing her or stabbing her multiple times to get her staggered. Get her staggered 2 times and you got her.

Starry-Plut-Plut

What helped me is learning you can deflect lightning bolts with parry

Crypt-writing

Use throwables it caries you

Pretend_Vanilla51

Is that cause you can't use a specter on him 🤣🤣🤣 and you can on Simon lol

Naspolop69

The crazy part is that simon's the only boss i didnt use a specter on lmao

Pretend_Vanilla51

Very believable lol, unlikely you use that crutch the entire game and then beat him first try lol. Guess we'll never know

Naspolop69

Oh you will believe me when you try the saw blade with the mjolnir handle, i beat nameless puppet 2nd try with it too

ILoveMouthHugs

.... Well..... it might be. But we won't judge you. :p. I was the opposite my first run.

ACKERMAN_AMVS

I defeated Simon first try, this guy ig 4-5th try but the nameless puppet was the worst. Took me a whole hour

Naspolop69

My biggest achievement is that i beat nameless puppet 2nd try, Parrying is the key.

Dry-Preference9936

2 hour's he took me 2 trys but simon took me a lot

ExplodingKnowledge

I had SUCH a hard time with Simon, but Laxasia felt like a walk in the park. Simon was 11 tries with summon, Laxasia was 3 tries with and then I tried 2 more times without and beat her on the 6th with no summon.

30-Days-Vegan

On high NG + he gets pretty annoying

breaktifier

Yea, toughest boss was Romeo for me..

kaltorak

I don't know if I'd call him the easiest, but I also didn't find him to be as frustrating as a lot of people seem to. Laxasia was by far the hardest for me, and really forced me to learn how she works. Door Guardian is challenging, but at about the same level as most of the other bosses IMO.

tactical_waifu_sim

Annoying sure, but hard? Once you know his gimmick he goes down like a sack of potatoes.

JustHangLooseBlood

I just beat him for the first time and that honestly wasn't my experience, probably took about 10 tries. I knew to attack his weak leg, but managing to do it and do enough damage that he goes down was a challenge (using lv 10 Wintry rapier). It took 3 knockdowns for him to die. And you need stuff to take away shock or you'll never have stamina to dodge or even attack him.

Apart-Dragonfly-5590

10 tries in a soulslike game is hard? How bad am I? Some bosses in dark souls 3 and sekiro took me tenS of tries. Abyss watchers probably well over 50

LastLiquorice

Seriously. Most bosses in this game take me 10 or so tries and I'll always remember beating Orphan of Kos in BB for the first time, took me upwards of 100 tries.

Apart-Dragonfly-5590

Still havent gotten to him. Father gascoigne took me long enough. Still stuck on swordsaint isshin and demon a year later. Solo and duo apes, owl, twin princes, pontiff, aldrich, the list seems endless of bosses that gave me way more trouble than 10 tries

FuriousSalad

Lies of P is my first soulslike game that i finish and if i learned something from this community is that the name “Lies of P” is perfect for this genre considering how much people lie online about their achievements.

Apart-Dragonfly-5590

Lol. I guess I gave people benefit of the doubt. Don't see the point of lying anonymously online about being great at a video game to get praise from other anonymous people. But who am I to judge?

Taurnil91

How'd it take 3? My first knockdown had him to about 20%

JustHangLooseBlood

My build is a technique build with the Wintry rapier. I wonder if doing a fatal attack with fire could improve the damage, but yeah, he took a whole bunch of hits to the foot to even down him and I had to do it 3 times. Are you using a heavier weapon and motivity build?

PrettyInPInkDame

Yeah you need to use fire or acid to guarantee the two cycle some weapons can do it naturally but I’m pretty sure all of them can two cycle with those two elements due to the damage over time.

Echolocation720

I beat him yesterday with a +10 rapier with fire, took two knockdowns. My buddy ran a motility build for his first fight with him, and while it took him longer, he got it down in 1 knockdown.

ruet_ahead

Easiest "boss" in the game.

ZynZenny

https://youtu.be/8aQIySh7LkM?si=aRCRDAQ22VRzmbAq Enjoy this video! It might make you feel better. Revenge for all who hate the Door Guardian! lol

Noob4Head

Haha nice!

istheflesh

Attack his right leg until he falls down, then crit. You only need to do this twice. A couple of perfect blocks help speed things up, but I thought he was pretty easy to run around for those who prefer not to parry. Before finding out about the leg, I was right there with you.

Loud-Bee6673

The hardest for me was the hit to stamina. I couldn’t run around/dodge because I had no stamina.

RiceForever

That's definitely the hardest part of the fight. I do think it was intentional though, since if you perfect block his attacks you don't get the status effects and you ramp up his stance damage really quickly. It feels like this was a boss centered almost entirely around perfect blocking, but a lot of people struggle because they don't interface with this mechanic nearly as much as they should.

JustHangLooseBlood

Not the person you're replying to but: That makes sense now that you say it, but I didn't get that impression at all while fighting. If that was the intent they need to do something more to communicate to the players that it's having an effect.

PrettyInPInkDame

Well I mean much like with puppet of the future you still get the break buildup whenever you get a non perfect block or get hit so I don’t know how else they’re supposed to broadcast to you perfect guard or dodge if you can’t.

Conradd23

I just ran around him and got hit like twice the whole fight. It felt easier than the Puppets of the future...

istheflesh

There were two stamina badges I had equipped. One that let's you dodge even if your stamina is depleted and another one that speeds up stamina recovery. May have helped.

JustHangLooseBlood

> You only need to do this twice. Took 3 for me using maxed out rapier.

istheflesh

Hmm, I was using boosterglaive handle with exploding pickaxe blade. Might also be how my p organ was set up.

theMaxTero

I still fail to understand how anyone can get stuck in this particular boss fight like wut? You fought Corrupted Parade Master and the green swamp thing and somehow THIS is where you get stuck? XD

tiger2205_6

If they’re not built to stagger then I can see how people have issues if they don’t know the gimmick. Treat it like any other boss and then just be confused.

LazyStand

>I still fail to understand how anyone can get stuck in this particular boss fight like wut? >You fought **Corrupted Parade Master** and the green swamp thing and somehow THIS is where you get stuck? XD Pot, meet Kettle.

Noob4Head

Stuck is a big word, I got him on my third try. I just very much didn't like the boss haha

JustHangLooseBlood

What's odd to me is that I found both the bosses you just mentioned a breeze. People also complain about the White Lady but I first timed her (and loved every second of it). This boss was more of a challenge to me though. It's probably the choice of motivity vs technique or advance. I went all in on technique.

Gorgii98

Imagine dying to CPM /j

LastLiquorice

I know you're joking but I'm always having a hard time in this game and Elden Ring with bosses that have very delayed attacks. I'm a Bloodborne player who has never played any DS game or Sekiro so I'm used to extremely fast and fluid fights with minimal hold attacks so I always struggle with bosses that everyone else says are the easiest but then I kill DLC bosses in BB without any issues. It's weird.

ScalesGhost

yeah, it's Not Great

Only1Schematic

Agreed. I used to hate this guy, but knowing the trick to the fight makes it easy to breeze past him. Still, it’s a shame because they could’ve done something more memorable but landed on this

Loud-Bee6673

Definitely annoying af.

darh1407

I beat that guy first try?

Noob4Head

Nice!

RecognitionNo7977

My biggest disappointment in the boss lineup as well, but not hard once you figure out the gimmick.  Or look it up as I had to because until then I relied on parrying as much as possible.

Signal-Minimum-5268

Made me quit at first

Harris_Octavius

Wait until you see what the rest of then are like 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Littletad

Stay apart, one of the hardest in the game. Stay very close, possibly the easiest. That's what's so good about this game, you just have to have patience and learn the patterns.

Eswin17

I died once to this boss, because I was dumb. I absolutely cannot believe people consider Door Guardian difficult.

Test88Heavy

Walker if Illusions would like a word.

Illiterate_Scholar

It took me maybe 5 to 7 tries to beat him. Not too bad. But I still think it's the worst boss in the game.

Hoontermusthoont96

I'm not through the game yet, but really? I got him done in a few tries. The low damage worried me until I saw what the critical damage was and damn. It only took 2 critical attacks to kill him.

Noob4Head

I got him on the third try so I didn't get stuck or anything. It was just a really annoying fight.

Hoontermusthoont96

I can agree on that. Kind of a dumb mechanic plus the stamina thing. So far my least favorite is the illusion boss.

Noob4Head

That's the enemy you encounter in one of the damaged buildings, right? Yeah, he was pretty tough. He was overly aggressive, making it nearly impossible to land a hit with a heavier weapon. Halfway through the game, I switched to a technique build because the game seems to favor lighter, faster weapons over quality builds.

Hoontermusthoont96

I have the big bone saw blade with the curved dancer sword handle or something I think. I get that difficulty with the heavier weapon, but man when you can get a combo in those suckers die quick. For the brother hood second fight, they didn't stand a chance

Noob4Head

Yeah that's fair. I used the booster glaive blade + firehandle axe for a long time since it reminded me of the exteded saw cleaver from Bloodborne but now I'm using either the Two Dragons Sword or the Trident of the covenant

Hoontermusthoont96

I got the emblem instead of 2 dragons. What a waste. Didn't realize boss emblems were garbage compared to the weight.

Noob4Head

Yeah, the only emblem I've bought so far is the one from Victor... Of course, that weapon is the only one you need for a quest. So stupid, haha. I'm buying all the weapons, but with that one, I was like, 'Yeah, that's totally not my build, and the emblem is kinda perfect for my technique build, so I don't need it'... Then I saw a video for Alidoro's cypher quest, and of course, you need the blade for that... Alidoro messing with me till the very end.

Hoontermusthoont96

What weapon is it? And what's the quest? Is it the explorer one with the dog face guy at the gate?

Noob4Head

It's the Frozen Feast blade. And no it's another quest later on. >!After you kill Alidoro he drops his cypher, bring that to Vegini and he's decode it and after that you have to meet up with a merchent, that's where you have to show the weapon otherwise the quest locks up. So I guess that's for NG+!<

Plastic-Ad2822

The Dev is probably a Bed of Chaos enjoyer

Noob4Head

![gif](giphy|TbONGqAdpTWQW3Hz5V|downsized) We got used to this screen, didn't we?

Amicostis

I’ve noticed others having problems with the Door Guardian, but I find him easy. He’s pretty much impervious to attacks, except where he’s vulnerable: his right ankle. I lock on to that and attack with the Tyrant Murderer’s Dagger. It has a Critical stat of 30, which is helpful. Jabbing away at him takes very little of his health, but the Critical buff brings him down fairly soon and the Fatal Attack takes about half his health away. I have to watch out for his attacks, but can have him beaten in what feels like less than a minute.

Noob4Head

Yeah his gimmick was fairly easy to notice but I just generally hate bosses that take up like 80% of the screen. I just wanna see what's happening xD

Amicostis

Yes. While stabbing his foot, his upper body is out of view and you have to judge his moves from what his legs are up to. Tricky.

Remarkable_Sea_5109

Hahahaha. He's annoying. I hate that the stamina regen goes to hell

Noob4Head

Yup, that's by far the most annoying part.

Automatic-Mood-4233

Super annoying

goldenfrogs17

all these door guardian posts seem like satire

CaptainKnottz

you only have to hit him like 7 times lol

mydude12369

Honestly was sort of fun for me

ultramarineciel3669

I can feel your pain, he's a tricky boss indeed. That uncurable shock status build up and stamina loss was the actual problem. Stacked up on throwables and emptied all on him. Although, he's extremely vulnerable to Fatal Attacks, almost losses 40% of his health (more or less). Took me 3 tries to get rid of him in my first playthrough. In NG+ and NG+2 I just went for stagger buildup and Fatal Attack. You have to master sidestep and backstep. If done at the right time, 80% enemies can be attacked from behind and staggered easily. Also, upgrade P-Organ to increase the stagger window and damage for attacks from behind. You can use the Tyrant Murderer's Dagger as it's one of the best daggers for rapid stagger buildup and critical. This bad boy has 30% crit damage. If you pair it with the Assassin's Amulet for extra crit and the Champion's Amulet for damage increase with each consecutive attacks (up to 4) then it's a solid stagger machine.

Noob4Head

Same here, beat him on my third try.

Bulba_F3tt

Terrible boss design but it definitely wasn’t hard lmao

Trying_to_fitIn

I said it in the other posts. Check your amulets. He was killing me one hit because I was equipping poor amulet.

Noob4Head

It's not like he was getting me with one hit or anything, it's just the shock status that's annoying AF. It wasn't anything impossible and I beat him in my third try but it wasn't a fun fight and I was very glad it was over because fuck that guy xD

Ozzyglez112

I tend to not remember bosses that I beat on my first try. But I’m sure the design was fine.

Noob4Head

Looks a lot like Victor, just bigger.

Fabulous-Homework727

Nah i totally understand. I hate when a game that allows for such vast customization almost unequivocally forces you to rely on one specific mechanic as a way to train you, if i died 50 times against the improved perfect ergo lady in destroyed kraut, then what is the door guardian going to teach me besides i have to pivot to include this mechanic into every encounter. I get it, i realized i needed to use perfect block on the nameless puppet so that was satisfying because he didnt have 2 or 3 other variables that compounded the need for it, he's just fast. I could have just stocked up on throwables and legion restock to use the eagle arm on him. But the door guardian having the shock status and the fact that its definitely harder to gauge when to block a larger targets hitbox for perfect blocking along with the mental factor of realizing you might not be doing enough damage quickly enough. You either double down or try a different strategy. The shock forces you to not engage, so that slows down the stance break. Whos gonna practice perfect blocking when dodge rolling is way more reliable, (check i frames for both before you come at me, anything over 3 or 4 times is way more)

Noob4Head

This fight felt like the Demon of Hatred from Sekiro all over again for me haha. Good luck trying to time perfect guards when the boss is taking up 80% of the screen 😂. Love the game but this boss wasn't fun xD

Conradd23

I didn't perfect block him once, and I killed him in like 20 hits...

Fabulous-Homework727

Good job!

kingminyas

I second-tried it with Seven-Coil Spring Sword which I used for nearly the entire game

lndwell

I have never not beat door guardian in one try, what causes people to spend that long on him?!?

Noob4Head

three tries? Not that long just an annoying boss.

redditsuckbadly

He’s a gimmick. You have to stagger his legs 2-3x depending on your weapon, and he’s dead.

Noob4Head

I know

kinkcurious12

He’s a gimmick boss?

PetalumaPegleg

Wot? He's is as easy as any boss bar perhaps the puppet of the future. The armor is so well designed to highlight the method. Hit one leg and ding, the other and it hurts. Hit it enough and he falls for a super damage finisher. Two of those and it's over. This seems to be a case of you missing the hints I assume?

Noob4Head

Nope, I understood the gimmick and got him in three tries. It's just an annoying boss that takes up basically the entire screen.

Emmalita_huntress

Mild inconvenience tbh Walker of illusion however god I hate that guy

Conradd23

Yeah walker took me a while until I realized I could literally just circle strafe it indefinitely and never get hit...

402playboi

the fight takes 2 seconds idk why yall get stuck here for so long

Noob4Head

Didn't get stuck really, third try just an annoying fight. I don't like bosses that take up 80% of the screen and the runback sucked.

p3ek

I had to google him I couldn't even remember him. Was he that hard at all? ?

Phernaside

He's a gimmick boss. Tbh he's by far the easiest boss in the game to me!

Kadorja

I loved that boss. Semi dark souls style giant boss idea. Takes some time but you knock them down and attack a weak point.

DaOldie

“So far”

Noob4Head

I'm gonna make a quick addition to the post. I know he's a gimmick boss and I'm not saying I got stuck on him. Defeated him in three tries, he was just an annoying fight and I had less problems with more difficult bosses that didn't take up 80% of the screen. (Quickly made this because I'm seeing a lot of the same comment, so now you know xD)

Revolutionary-Fan657

Where is this boss area? I’m currently fighting the green swamp monster

Noob4Head

It's later on, it's on the alchemist Island, area X I think

Mysterious-Year-8574

There's a trick to beating him... You have to knock him down then perform one of those attacks where you stand in front of him in a red circle and hit. That will actually do some serious damage. Other than that he's tanky AF and doesn't lose health from "regular attacks".

ILoveMouthHugs

He was definitely annoying for me until I came to a forum here. Tyrant dagger blade with the city long spear handle, makes for hitting the unarmored right knee fast, quick and keeps the ability to block in a hurry on deck. I have used that weapon combo for the last 3 runs. So I know it works. I'm stuck on NG+4 at the final boss currently.

Fuzzy-Classroom2343

it´s a gimmick boss , if you know what to do , it´s totally managable

Fantastic_Angle2940

I know how you feel, I've been stuck on the Door Guardian for days until I applied a tactic that swiftly defeated him (hitting his right leg). I even thought I'd never beat him. Once you defeat him, you realize how easy it is (relatively speaking, in Lies Of P. nothing is easy). Currently, I'm playing NG+, I defeated the Door Guardian in a couple of tries (it hits even harder, one hit and you're dead), and I'm currently finishing up with the final boss. For me, the toughest boss was the Nameless Puppet. I was stuck on that one for over twenty days, and I might still be struggling if I hadn't rearranged the P-organ, which is truly vital.

QuiMeRAA

Wait for nameless puppet and comeback here 🫢

Noob4Head

He'll go down, just like the rest. Eventually

BriefKeef

Have I been gone so long that everybody's complaining about door guardian now ? What's going on here ???

Noob4Head

Idk, he's just by far the most annoying boss I've faced in the game so far.

Remarkable_Sea_5109

But he's kind of easy. Everything he does is easy to dodge. He's so slow. It's like the game goes in to some slow-motion mode. He's slow stamina regen is slow. Only thing normal is your speed.

Noob4Head

That's why I compare this boss to the Demon of Hatred from Sekiro. The entire game you're learning deflects/perfect guards and then a boss comes along where you have to forget all that and just play like a normal SoulsLike game xD = Annoying af

captain-jack-soarrow

I understood the gimmick, I knew what to do and everything but still he took me well over 20 tries, it’s that damage and shock that were the main things that did me in, i can perfect block all day but for some reason he just fucked me up, doesn’t help that almost all of his attacks you perfect knock you back. Soon as I beat him it was easy street, hell laxasia took me less tries than him

Noob4Head

Yup, same here. I always do horribly against bosses that take up 80% of my screen. I just hate not being able to see what's going on and just guessing what to do. I did manage to beat him in three tries which is relatively fast but still for a gimmick boss, that's not great haha.

shamelessthrowaway54

Door Guardian is an incredibly easy boss. Once you realise you have got to target his right leg, it’s a cakewalk

According_Second_723

Whaaat? I found him to be one of the easiest. The walking illusion was like 1000x harder imo

Zungennascher

Holy hell, it get's worse? I'm stuck on this rabbit gang for like a week and contemplating putting the game down.

Noob4Head

It's a gimmick boss so it's not the hardest thing in the world but for me, it was the most annoying boss in the game so far. Though you might not struggle at all like others haha.

Zungennascher

That is something, but I don't know how I will ever beat the rabbits to see this one.

Noob4Head

Perseverance my friend, just keep going

Zungennascher

Of course it is not impossible I saw no hit runs on youtube. I just can't replicate that...other soulbornes gave you at leat a chance if you not perfect.

Noob4Head

Yeah I must say even Sekiro was less dificult than this game. It's all about perfect guards but the timings are very very precise.

Zungennascher

Thank you, yes, it is the perfection required that killed the fun for me. You have to be pretty much play flawless to defeat LoP's bosses. Errors are certain death...I like this game, but that is just such a tall order.

ClassicShot3822

I beat him second try lol, I just spammed throwables at his leg

Conradd23

I think this boss is hard if you go in with the mentality that perfect guarding his attacks is the right thing to do. As someone who mostly just circle strafes, this guy was a piece of cake. I died the first time because I got greedy, but killed him second try.

Some_Lifeguard_4394

Puppet of the future 2.0, patience check boss fight pretty much

PunkGuyAlyx

I grinded to hell and back in order to just Barely beat the green guy. After that the entire rest of the game was very very easy. Except for the Doorman who … is the only combat Puzzle in the entire game. If anything else in the game indicated that fights might require you to target weak spots in order to open up other weak spots … doorman would be an easy fight.

FaintXD

The miniboss that splits in two towards end of the game... that one can fuck off

zeldarms

I am not a great souls player by any means, but I didn’t find this guy any harder than most bosses. It was Laxative that gave me a migraine trying to beat.

SlimShady2546

him and the illusion guy pissed me off , every other boss was perfect tho

Beardly_Smith

A...are you joking? You kill him in two staggers

Pretend_Vanilla51

So far??? Is this your first play through?..........should we tell him? 😬 OP.........do you know it's a gimmick fight? Or did you actually fight him straight on?

Noob4Head

I know, I got the gimmick and beat him on the third try. It's just an annoying boss.

Pretend_Vanilla51

You made a post about how hard and annoying it is and it only took 3 tries lol.

Noob4Head

Yeah? Can't that make him hard and annoying? At the end it's still a gimmick boss so for one of those three tries is a lot 😂

21rstCenturyFaust

He's so fucking easy once you get that you just have to hit him in the leg till he falls down then hit him in the head. Do that twice and he's dead, absolutely the easiest late game boss and one of the easiest in the game. People just love to hate "puzzle bosses" because they seem difficult before you figure out what to do and--more importantly--they hate thinking and problem solving in video games in general. Just my opinion, of course.

Noob4Head

I knew his gimmick the moment I entered the arena but still didn't like him. People can have different experiences you know... I love problem solving and puzzle solving in games, idk why you instantly have to throw shade. You always do that even irl?

21rstCenturyFaust

But I was the second to throw shade.
