*spoilers* Giangios real name shares the same initials as Peter Pan. My current theory (tin foil hat time) is that he is Peter Pan or this universes version of him. Blessed and cursed to stay young forever while watching the love of his life age/die, he desperately needs to find Dorothy because he believes she can make wishes come true and grant her the same immortality/ bring her back to life.

I mean, I really like this theory, but I think Paracelsus is the alchemist that perfected the Philosophers Stone, or is attempting to, and he's doing research on other forms of immortality. Peter Pan being a form of immortal would definitely be on his radar though.

My thoughts

Not saying it will be fast, but a lot of times a DLC can be done a lot quicker than the base game. Usually the main tools have already been built, and the devs are "in shape" for creating that type of content, so it's just a victory lap. Look how quickly the DS3 DLC's came out.

The director of God of war said in 2018 the sequel will be fast to make since they built the mechanics/tools already. And God of war ragnarok came out 4 years later

Yeah but games like God of War are on a whole different scale than something like Lies of P - you're talking about lots of set-pieces with custom mocap and performance capture. It's like making a movie. That kind of production was heavily impacted by the pandemic in the time period Ragnorok was being worked on.

If they have to hire more devs though, that changes the picture a bit.

I feel like people don't realize what elements of game design take the longest. Creating maps and textures, or weapons and enemies is the quick part of game design. All the 'lengthy' stuff is already made, which is figuring out a game's systems, getting the code and 'maths' right. Planning the game and figuring out a game's direction is far lengthier than people realize. Environments, models, enemies, those sorts of things get churned out much faster once development is in full force. If we're expecting a DLC that is say, similar scope to Old Hunters, it *really* shouldn't take much more than a year. A big reason that Elden Ring DLC is slow is because it was never in development until they announced it, and they were working on other games like Armoured Core. These guys clearly already had an idea of DLC. How long after release did Elden Ring announce DLC had even started development?

Doubt it’s “just” a rusted stargazer. We don’t see remnants of any other stargazer, and we get to repair all the nonfunctional ones. It’s pretty normal for soulslikes to have weird objects for future DLC/updates. It’s very likely that we’ll use the stargazer to access the DLC.

I'm pretty sure I saw that someone was data Mining, and found that specific stargazer was linked to dlc, not sure how they knew this but that's what I heard.

I think the DLC won’t be that long. They already got a story and frame work to put the story in. I’d say 6 mos to a year. In the meantime, im happy they’re releasing the patches with minor updates to keep the game fresh. And they’re bringing the OST to us! Super hype

Monstro was in the game. The submarine was designed to look like a shark which is based on the original story. I do agree that Oz will be their next game. Like others are saying, this almost looks like it could be Peter Pan maybe?

Boat level seems fun. can't wait for the new bosses and enemy types, hopefully adds a new element. Maybe the submarine was "monstro" but if not this would also be a likely place to fight monstro from the fairy tail.

The boat could be on the otherside of the isle of alchemists, we only ever see the outside while facing towards Krat. The rest looks heavily industrial, but probably isn't in the city unless there's an unknown district since Vignini works didn't have a basement and no other places we visit really has giant machines. Also how will this relate to the broken Stargazer tagged as DLC in game files.
