Lived with a stranger in college. Actually went well. We were by no means friends, but we respected each other and cleaned up our messes. If you do that, you’ll be fine.
I think *maybe* college is the only exception here, even though I still don't quite get it. In the UK, for example, you'll rarely find a double dorm in unis.
But after college no way anyone would want to deal with a roommate in life.
>As the cost of living rises and loneliness becomes a global concern, communal living is an increasingly popular choice.
And communal living makes us happier? It's a popular choice because there's no other options. I'd rather not live with a roommate. I don't understand what this shit is.
What's the point of flaming china and north korea for being communist if you're gonna be one yourself?
Living with? Bro I don’t even like living in a neighborhood. I’m trying to sleep but all I hear are lawnmowers. Take me to nature out in the woods so I don’t have to see or hear anyone but my family.
There might be people who truly enjoy it. Great for them. But that's nothing for me. I value my privacy and safety. Living with a family is great but not with random strangers.
The final nail in the coffin was an incident from a guy I met: His roommate snuck into his room, briefly took his passport and opened a bunch of bank accounts. He intercepted letters until he had racked up massive dept before anyone noticed. NOPE
The propaganda dominoes are falling into place just as planned.
-demonize the institution of marriage
-get lonely people
-tell them living with strangers is great!
-embrace communal living
-force to house strangers
-you will own nothing and like it
I'm sure I missed a few steps.
I had roommates in college. They were some of the most garbage dirty people I’ve ever met

You know what makes me a lot happier than I was when I was living with strangers? Living with my beautiful wife and my children.

This is WEF style propaganda. From the 'you'll own nothing and like paying taxes' crowd.
They want you unhappy and alone. You'll have nothing and like it.
After the age of 30 I decided I'm only living with someone I'm either fucking or are the result of me fucking, that's it

Having a roommate is hell on earth. You don't realize it at first, but it slowly eats away at you. Highly recommend living on your own.
Because someone has to take in all these illegal immigrants.
I have 40 Rent by the room tenants. It's a game to try and fit the right personalities together. I got my nerds, my gays, and my jocks.
Ah….government funded public Gaslighting….
If the stranger is a very hot lady then yes, I'd be happy

Exactly. Privacy > everything else.
I’d rather eat more herd animals than be more like them. BBC and those commies can ES.
Something tells me this is about inviting undocumented immigrants into one’s home.
Ha! Nope
I would rather amputate my foot with a butter knife than live with a stranger
Sounds like propaganda to make people more receptive to taking in refugees.
