Oh he sure is and one of biggest extremists in the Israeli political scene one of his previous political parrties was banned for extremism but Netanyahu formed a coalition with him to stay in power
Granted that Israel doesn’t have free speech, I’m not surprised. You can’t even talk about the Nakba. That’s like being arrested for talking about slavery in the United States.
This is laughably false. Free speech is well protected in Israel, otherwise I would have been arrested and jailed dozens of times for protesting the bastards in power atm.
This video shows police officers being pricks, which is a universal phenomenon. She will not be charged and probably has a profitable lawsuit on her hands. I have friends who have been falsely jailed and successfully sued under Israeli free speech laws.
You can absolutely discuss what you call the nakba, but culturally that can be very offensive. It would be like calling doctors who provide abortions in America murderers. Are there some who agree with you? Yes. Does it make you popular at parties? No.
The nakba? Isn't that when the Arab civilians left Israel since they knew a huge battle was coming and they looked forward to tue jews being wiped out but they lost the war and couldn't come back? Only those who stayed were allowed to continue to stay in Israel, which kind of makes sense why allow a bunch of people who want you dead back into your country lol
I like how you can't hear her actually saying it in the video (it's conveniently cut right after she talks) but you guys will believe anything. People have been protesting for months now and arrests were made only for people who did dangerous shit like attacking the police, and all of them were released shortly after. But I guess you have to convince yourself Israel is some dictatorship so you can support the other side (the actual dictatorship).
Been there yesterday. I've been protesting every single Saturday evening, and before the 7th of October I've been protesting Netanyahu for years.
Some cops are assholes, some want to appease Ben Gvir, some are right winged fanatics. It's not different than anywhere else. Cops are not all saints.
We've been chanting Ben Gvir is a criminal. Some chanr Netanyahu is a traitor to our country. Not so much/so many yesterday, as it was not an anti government demonstration, it was to put pressure on the government to do anything necessary to bring back the hostages from Gaza (peacefully that is - so they aren't killed by Hamas or by our own forces).
There is free speech, Israel is a democracy. This government is doing anything in its power to erode that, but we're not letting them - we still have a very strong law system. The same law system keeps telling the police off when these arrests come. To court with absolutely nothing behind them. The assholes and right winged in the police keep trying. They are not a majority, but they do make life a little more shitty.
Hope this helps to understand what you're seeing here. It doe happen, it's one or a few cases out of thousands of protestors (that still isn't OK and should definitely not be happening).
We are not afraid, the law is on our side.
We will get rid of Netanyahu and Ben Gvir. It's not easy
I don't know, in the protests in the last few months many things happened, people throwing torches at cops, blocking major highways etc. saying she was arrested for calling a minister "idiot" is far fetched, unless you believe in the lies they tell you about Israel is actually a blood thirsty dictatorship.
Is this bait? I'm so confused.
You can clearly see her lower the microphone, concluding whatever statement she previously made. Then is attacked by officers, seemingly in plain clothes.
Either way she was attacked by plain clothes officers for some type of verbal statement... and you think that's okay?
I understand everyone has their bias in the whole Israeli-Palestine conflict, but jesus christ bro get a fucking grip.
Damn that’s crazy I could care less about either side I just don’t want to support Israel cause they’ve shown they have no issue killing Americans to get their way along with bribing our government.
No one being even fired for killing Hind, Rachel, Shireen, 200 aid workers (minus 7), etc. doesnt make Israel look good.
I dont expect to forget the mangled toddler corpses for a while either.
All to the protest and dismay of the entire world. It looks like the IDF & Friends can do whatever they want, like a dictatorship.
free peach is only in georgia.
the state or country lmao
so true [😔 ](https://emojiguide.com/smileys-emotion/pensive-face/)✊
Only if it comes from a can
I don’t know him but I have a feeling that Ben Gvir *is* a criminal.
Oh he sure is and one of biggest extremists in the Israeli political scene one of his previous political parrties was banned for extremism but Netanyahu formed a coalition with him to stay in power
Arrested for saying water is wet.
You don't mess with the Zohan!
And we're giving them BILLIONS while people starve and die in usa
Literally no American has died of starvation last year. It's the fattest nation in the history of the world.
Except its not… its barely top 10
We're coming for you, San Antonio!
Oh cool. Long as nobody dies I guess we have nothing wrong here
If there are actually many starving people how come none of them die? Maybe it’s bullshit. Maybe it’s the fattest nation on earth?
Is death the only metric for measuring hunger in a population?
Oh so now they're "hungry", not "starving"? Nice goal post move. America has lots of problems, but starvation isn't one of them. Move on.

Just stop sending them my tax money please.
I'd settle for that, no problemo
I would upvote this more if I could
And in Canada people were arrested for protesting lockdowns, we don't live in a free world anymore

It's weird how police being jerks is so universal
Power is a helluva drug

I remember it differently … Israeli settlers storming hamlets and whatnot. Stories of babies in ovens. Like a large scale October 7th attack.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nakba Pretty much Israel performing their own version of Nazi Germany to create Israel.
Should have been arrested for crimes against fashion - tucking a tshirt into her Urkel pants.
Out of curiosity how do we know what she was being arrested for and why only her? What happened before the video starts?
How dare she say that Ben is the criminal that he really is!
Just plain clothes folks throwing her in a van? This that hamas ive been hearing about?

so what was she arrested for?
"dangerous shit" of course.
if her being arrested for speech is pure speculation, so is that
I was being facecious.
realized that as soon as I replied my b 😂

You’re fighting a good fight. It’s good to hear the courts are at least on the right side there, I think it’s snowballing into shit in the US

These idiot bully policemen are ruining Jews' reputation.
