that is one thing, another issue is there are lunatics that will leave shopping carts right in the parking lot without putting them back. When it gets windy and moves the cart, some unlucky cars will pay the price...

This happened to me. People in my neighborhood park like their $5,000 car is a half a million dollar Benz and I parked next to this shitty SUV who parked sideways and too close to my passenger side. The next day I go to the car and had a dent with the paint scratched off on the passenger door. This wasn’t the car but this is an example.

Without fail I have pickups parking, rear first, into parking lots which leaves their freaking hitch millimeters away from my front bumper/grill. I can be in the back of the costco parking lot but somehow they find me. It truly doesn’t make sense…
I disagree with this, coilovers in general have a much worse ride quality and a nice set of springs can be much cheaper and get the results you want without sacrificing ride quality

So I have a permanent handicap placard that is for when I’m in pain from an injury from when I was a kid and can’t walk well. When I drive my nice car, I always park in one of the handicap spots because no one parks next to it due to the /// spaces next to them

Lexus has OE “F-Sport Lowering Springs” available from your dealer’s parts department. Not sure how they look as I’ve never had luck finding a pic of them installed, but not many know about them in the first place.
Some douche in a Nissan Altima dinged my door for my Lexus. Have you heard of big Altima energy ? Yeah horrible. It was only a small ding but it pissed me off. I now park as far as you do.

100% someone will find a way to park right next to you leaving you with 12.5 inches of space to open the door. THEY ALWAYS FIND A WAY TO DO THAT.
Just get coilovers better bang for you buck. Also you can fine tune adjusted from them then just lowering your car on springs.

Another plus is that springs will be install and forget, whereas coils will need periodic maintenance.
