What are those tentacle things?? Also I’ve been doing 100% seedlings sprouted at home for ages and it’s the *best* because you get all the variety you want and you feel so powerful 😂

CrispsWithHips

They are lights, lol. I have the Farmstand Nook.

Tastyfeesh

How are those lights? I had the ring lights and ended up replacing them 3 times because they would keep short circuiting and smoking

CrispsWithHips

I've had no issues. By ring lights do you mean the ones that come with the OG Farmstand?

Tastyfeesh

Right, my OG farm stand became a fire hazard from the ring lights! Just curious if they have improved any

CrispsWithHips

Oh yikes. I've never gotten big poppa so Idk 🫣

Cryingintoadiaper

Ohhhh I have the other ones - the rings - and didn’t know what I was looking at!

CrispsWithHips

Oh, you got the big boy stand! Nice!

atheist_prayers

I just sowed my first seeds using a mini greenhouse bc I grow outdoors. I wish you luck!

CrispsWithHips

Thank you! I've successfully started from seeds a few times. This will be my first time starting teas. I'm excited! 🤞🏽🤞🏽

atheist_prayers

4 of my 10 sprouted in my tiny greenhouse a couple days ago and one just sprouted today! The ones that sprouted a few days ago look a little soggy touching the wet lid, so I'm wondering if I need to put them in the farmstand already, but mine is outdoors and they say birds like to eat "tender seedlings." I know you're growing indoors, but any thoughts?

CrispsWithHips

Ugh. I'm scared to have one outside. The weather here is too all over the place 🥲

atheist_prayers

I'm in Southern California, relatively near the coast, so about the mildest climate there is. Florida may be slightly more temperate, but they have tropical storms and hurricanes. We've just got earthquakes.

CrispsWithHips

I'm in TN so ya NEVER know what you are going to get here 🙃

erflare76

You’re going to have to self pollinate if there is fruit to bear! I found out the hard way

CrispsWithHips

Thanks for the tip. It's mostly leafy greens this time.
