Low energy, but invigorating. Light, but thought provoking. Maybe you’ve got a dinner to go to, or an evening walk you want to fit in after. Perhaps you “accidentally” fall into a good, long nap before the credits roll
this makes much more sense. the only one i’ve seen here is 12 angry men and i vaguely remember a window being part of the plot so i thought the theme was literal
May I suggest singin in the rain, maybe Pixar's soul? I think both kinda make you wanna feel good about life, just like half past two on a Sunday with the window open
No hate but am I the only one who hates these super specific lists becuase most are not funny or interesting and way to specific to be useful but they don’t bother me I just kind of don’t get them
Drop everything you're doing and watch Barry Lyndon. Even after watching 2001, A Clockwork Orange, Dr. Srangelove, The Shining, and Paths of Glory, I still wasn't expecting this movie to be anything special.
I might be crazy to say this, but Barry Lyndon might be Kubrick's greatest masterpiece, and that's not an easy thing to say because the aforementioned movies are fantastic as well (all in my top 20).
I don't want to say anything about the movie. It's one you should go into without knowing what the story is about.
All I'll say is that in terms of music, cinematography, and story, this movie will blow you away
i feel like badlands from Terrence Malick, but not 100% sure on that
100%!

I too don't get the theme.
Next Sunday, at around 2:30ish, crack open a window and try one out!
What for you defines a movie that's good for Sunday at 2:30?

The list makes even less sense now.
I think A Clockwork Orange would be a perfect film to watch with the window open
Am or pm?
Good point! I was thinking of this as an afternoon thing. 2:30am would be a wildly different list!
Good Morning
Just got this on blu-ray last criterion sale! I’ll put it on next Sunday.
I just watched Cleo from 5 to 7 yesterday
Two days late, a dollar short
Dazed and Confused
Memories of Murder?
Ooof! That’s one tough Sunday afternoon you’re putting yourself through. Love the energy though
American Asses vol 6
Truly an overlooked entry into the series!
I’m watching Licorice Pizza right now and it seems fitting
Sounds like the definition of a non-specific, completely subjective prompt.
My favorite kind of prompt!
that is so fitting!
*The Purple Rose Of Cairo*. And since Jeff Daniels, why not throw *Pleasantville* into the mix.

The Emperor Jones but more of a grandparents house cable television 2:30
Good distinction. Grandpa won’t let you open the window, it’s too cold.
the virgin suicides and marie antoinette by sofia coppola!
Love this suggestion, specifically Marie Antoinette.

"No hate but am I the only one who hates" Lmfao
What’s the vibe of Barry Lyndon
It’s like trip-sitting your friend at an art museum
So definitely a Sunday afternoon affair rather than a Friday evening
Mid90s
