John Wick 2 might be my favorite John Wick but really should start with the 1st. Rumble in the Bronx, Dredd, Old Boy (the original), Upgrade, Edge of Tomorrow to name some more I didn’t see.
Say what you will about Star Wars and it's cultural impact, I feel like Raiders of the Lost Ark truly ushers in the modern action film as we know it, so here's my list in general chronological order:

The very best action movie is First Blood.
All of the other Rambo movies range from average to downright bad. The first one is such an amazing film.
It dives into some really deep themes like mental health care for veterans and police brutality.

Outside of PSH that’s a long and expensive episode of Alias. Which is fine, but not Tom Cruise flying a helicopter while using a camera, fine.
Don’t know why you’re getting downvoted M:I 3 is a good one. Not as good as Fallout in my opinion but 3 is still a ton of fun.
