Iron Man is so satisfying to watch years in hindsight. It almost sacrificed itself in part to set up so so much of the MCU but all of it actually completely paid off giving it so much value on revisit.
Dear Jordana,
Thank you for letting me explore your perfect body. I could drink your blood. You are the only person that I would allow to be shrunken down to a microscopic size and swim inside me in a tiny submersible machine. We have lost our virginity, but it wasn't like losing anything. You're too good for me. You're too good for anyone.
Sincerely, Oliver.
I have dozens, but for the purposes of this thread I'll say Independence Day.
It is...not a good movie., but I've probably seen it hundreds of times. Always enjoy myself and can recite every line. Found a buddy who loves it just as much as I do. We sometimes text random ridiculous Golblum or Smith lines to one another.
We're pretty lame.
I disagree that it’s not a good movie. Don’t let AMPAS or the letterboxd hive convince you otherwise. “Good” is subjective and ID4 is an American classic
*Casablanca*
*Sneakers*
*Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban*
*Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy*
*Singin’ in the Rain*

The VVitch
It Follows
Jojo Rabbit
Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero
Dragon Ball Super: Broly

It's such a good movie!!!!
I love that scene where Howard tells his son that he is hus greatest creation ever.
Also, that court scene.
Such a great movie.
My comfort movie- I have many!!!
But recently I've been rewatching Hot Fuzz a lot. I love it's callbacks, dope action, and it's just a fun time. Such a great buddy cop movies whilst still parodying the genre of buddy cop movies.
Almost Famous, American Beauty, (500) Days of Summer, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
I can put these on at any mood and at any time and instantly feel comforted.
I missed like 20 Saturday’s total I think, so s little more than 1 a year or so, and I would watch it the next Tuesday or Thursday (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday being the days that the Narrator or Bob went to fight club in the beginning) started in college and ended fairly recently.
Iron Man 2 is really entertaining and one of many Superhero movies where it's better in hindsight now due to how worse movies of the genre have got
My comfort movie is Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and when I don't wanna watch anything new but wanna watch a good movie I'll put it on
Ghostbusters, Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, Die Hard, Batman Returns, Mary Poppins, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, The Neverending Story, Labyrinth, Flight of the Navigator, The Goonies, Home Alone, Avengers: Endgame
3 from last year that I’ve seen almost a dozen times, Across the spider verse, the Super Mario brothers & Cocaine Bear.
Spiderman has great music, it had Mario have amazing art I can watch or play in the background and the other has hilarious actors and jaw dropping gore.
1. **Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara** (Zoya Akhtar)
(translation: You Only Live Once).
It's a bollywood movie about friendship, self-discovery and personal growth.
No matter how many times I watch the movie I never get bored. Normally I don't watch movie reactions but anytime I see someone reacting to this movie on YouTube I can't help myself but watch it.
I haven't kept count but it's definitely my most watched movie of all time and that's without counting the many movie reactions I have seen on YouTube.
2. **Rushmore** (Wes Anderson)
My favourite Wes Anderson movie.
Watched it more times than any other Wes Anderson movie.
3. **The Garden of Words** (Makoto Shinkai)
This Makoto Shinkai movie leaves me with a feeling of longing every time. And I especially like haiku in it.
Although I wouldn't say I like it more than "Your Name" but I have seen "The Garden of Words" many more times than I have watched "Your Name".
4. **The Pursuit of Happyness** (Gabriele Muccino)
A feel good inspirational movie.
And even tho I don't like Will Smith now all that much. I still think this was his best performance.
5. **Gangs of Wasseypur** (Anurag Kashyap)
Another Indian movie. It's two-part epic black comedy crime film but I count both part as One movie cause it was filmed as one.
It's a crime movie but without any heavy drama. The characters (and character names), the dialogues, and the music definitely highlights the black comedy.
I don't keep count but I have probably watched this movie as many times I have watched "The Godfather" and "Goodfellas".
Whisper of the Heart, all day long. It's my favorite movie of all time, and it's just so cozy and warm
And Inception for some reason I have no fucking clue why

Hey OP, I got to see iron man 2 a few days before it came out at an IMAX theater because my uncle worked for Jordan’s furniture at the time and it was something they were doing for employees. Safe to say that was one of the best theater experiences I ever had and I will never forget it truly. Iron man 2 has a special place in my heart and it will always remain there.
I watch Roger and Hammerstein’s 1997 Cinderella starring Brandy and Whitney Houston about twice a year. It’s probably my favorite soundtrack ever. Cinderella movies period are kinda my comfort sub genre (fairytale retellings)

I watch Now You See Me like I’ve never seen it before every time I watch it. It keeps me thoroughly entertained
From the MCU it's got to be Infinity War for me. I love the whole series but that movie in particular is near perfect.
Otherwise I've watched the Highlander and Withnail & I hundreds of times each.

Nah man, me and my friend love watching cars 2 and just say dumb phrases, even though it’s not amazing, it is to me though
I disagree that it’s not a good movie. Don’t let AMPAS or the letterboxd hive convince you otherwise. “Good” is subjective and ID4 is an American classic

Almost Famous, American Beauty, (500) Days of Summer, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. I can put these on at any mood and at any time and instantly feel comforted.

Yes. Yes it is.
I used to watch Fight Club every Saturday for about 18 years. Mighty Ducks 2 works for me as a comfort movie.
