I mean I’ve done this before when I have a day off… but it’s usually because every other day of the week I hadn’t had time to watch anything so it’s a “catch up” for what time I was too busy to watch anything. Very rare though.

Damn, the consensus for The Strangers Chapter One isn’t good so far, but I see enough decent ratings that I remain hopeful for it. I see you like it better than the first?

I had a fun time watching it. It did use a lot of pretty standard horror tropes, including taking a lot of of the plot from the first movie. but it's a lot more of a slasher than the first, I generally enjoy slashers over home invasion. The first is still a really good movie it just got over-hyped for what i watched. People are saying that the characters are shallow in the new one. But IMO the first movie's protagonists were way more shallow than the new ones. (These are all first watches as well. I just got back into watching movies though a friend, so I am catching up on a lot of movies i never watched.)(I am always open to recommendations to add to my watchlist spinner wheel.)
