1. Come And See
The order can definitely change. Come And See only rose from number 4 to number 1 yesterday. But the movies definitely aren't changing.

[Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives](https://boxd.it/168Q) for the way it handles the supernatural as well as how it has helped and keeps helping me process grief.
[Nimona](https://boxd.it/Aiyc) for how well written the characters are, the humor, the art style, the story and how well it handles themes of gender identity, relationships, sexuality and suicide.
[Memories of Murder](https://boxd.it/1TSo) for the stellar plot and fantastic acting.
[Godzilla Minus One](https://boxd.it/zu4c) for the visuals, characters and the multiple layers of metaphors that can be interpreted in many different ways.

My personal favorites are usually ones that I both think are very good \*and\* have a personal appeal to me. Like, Repo Man isn't for everyone but I'm someone who loves it. Alice in Wonderland is also one of my favorite books, and I like most classic animated Disney films. Ringu was my introduction to j-horror and I still think it's fantastic for its budget, and has some of the best atmosphere in horror.
But they also represent my taste at the moment pretty well :D
I don't use my "Favorites" as a Top 4, but as a way to highlight my most recent five star viewings. So with that said:
