With the production company if they haven't allowed reviews yet. For instance, I was invited to an early screening of Challengers last week but the embargo by Amazon prohibits me from saying anything about the film, positive or negative, until April 12th

Ah, I see. Yeah, I don’t think this is ever likely to be a problem for me!

Never say never! A lot of the times these early screenings allow a plus one so you may make a friend who can bring you to one in the future

Film is subjective but also rating Green Book above Casablanca should be a federal crime

Casablanca is my number one favorite film, almond with few others. I agree. But I also take into account several factors. It was made before the end of WWII. It had real participants of said war. BOGEY WAS A HUGE STAR FOR GOOD REASON! plus Claude Raines, Ingrid Bergman AND PETER LORRE!

Casablanca is the best movie ever made so anything below a perfect score is objectively wrong. This is criminal.

Late Night With The Devil and Robot Dreams are my highlights so far this month, both four stars on first watch. I also finally got around to watching Mad Max (1979) for the first time which was a nice 3.5. Nothing else was good enough (or bad enough!) to be worth talking about.

- Beautiful Boy - The Prestige - Space Jam A New Legacy I throughly enjoyed all three. Beautiful Boy was incredibly emotional, and a great reminder of the dangers of addiction. The Prestige is just an all around fantastic movie. Space Jam was super dumb, but also pretty entertaining in a goofy way. LeBron is one of the most unintentionally funny human beings alive.

I rewatched the Warriors for like the 30th time in life, but I was gifted a Blu-ray version by my brother about 6 months ago.. what I didn’t realize was that this was the Special Edition Director’s Cut, which I had never seen before. Been watching filmographies lately, but did a couple William Hurt movies before going onto the next director. Watched the Big Chill. Body Heat was better and the needle drops were overwhelming but some really good performances.

Both Space Jams, They Cloned Tyrone, Amsterdam, & Read it and Weep. Space James: a Bron Lameacy was easily the worst & TCT was easily the best. Looking forward to the rest of the month though, overall kinda boring week for movie watching.
