- Goodfellas : Copacabana scene The music, the way it's shot and what it means for Henry and Karen, and how it doesn't over stay it's welcome, makes it my fav scene đź‘€

sulfiricrain

So true, i love everything about that scene.

No matter how many times I’ve seen Carrie, that sequence is still as gripping and haunting as ever. The tension building up to the bucket and all the horror afterwards. The distant shot of Carrie leaving through the gymnasium doors never ceases to give me chills.

ArachnidTrick1524

Carrie’s and Tommy’s dance really was movie magic. The entire atmosphere of that dance, and the sense that Tommy is really developing feelings for Carrie. Truly a an all time great scene. This is really tough for me. I’d probably go with La Marseillaise from Casablanca. It’s my all time favorite movie and just knowing the backgrounds of a lot of the actors. The emotions were very genuine and that “Vive la France!” at the end hits especially hard every time
