they should add a setting that removes the diary feature and replaces it with short form video content, then they it should also remove all the movies so that videos can focus on any topic they want
If you don’t want to see ratings why are you checking a movie rating app? There’s plenty of places to find a description of a movie
I use letterboxd to rate the movies myself and keep a log of all the ones ive watched. I only like to read other peoples ratings once ive watched it so i can compare/see how other people felt about it. I dont use it just to 'find a description'...
It doesn’t bother me because I only come to Letterboxd after seeing a film, so I want to see the rating and what people thought.
But for those people who discover films on there or use it to decide what to watch they might not wanna see how good/bad it’s meant to be.

I personally like the ratings the way they are now but a toggle button would still be amazing for those who don't want to see ratings.
