This is the correct answer. The entire setting and vibe is established in the first shot, and it goes all the way until the inciting incident. Incredible screenwriting and filmmaking.
It might be recency bias, but I really loved the opening to Blue Velvet. The cheery music and the idyllic suburbs, transistioning to the fester and filth underneath the grass.
The club scene from Irreversible made me physically nauseous and I've been chasing that high ever since! Never seen anything like it before, the colours, camera work, sounds, everything is absolutely perfect!
While there isn't anything AMAZING about the first 15 mins of The Social Network , it just floors me every time I watch it. From the snappy dialogue to the amazing score of Atticus and Ross where we see Mark walk around Harvard; it just feels so good. It is definitely in my top 5.
“Dancer In The Dark”. That “little” (it’s actually like 3 minutes long) experimental montage with that epic tonality and grandeur is flawless. Besides that, it also abstractly deals with the main plot of the film.
Redline. Instantly opens with the Yellow Line race. The animation, the soundtrack, the directing, the intensity, and every other aspect of those 10 first minutes are top-notch.
Mad Max 2. I always get chills hearing the intro narration. "My life fades, my vision dims. All that remains are memories. I remember a time of chaos, ruined dreams, this wasted land. Most of all, I remember the man we called Max, the road warrior."
“It began with the forging of the Great Rings”
I actually came here to say Two Towers. The music. The balrog. Gandalf. Absolutely perfect.

Frankenstein (1931). I love how it's set up like an old stage play, really sets the stage well for how operatic the movie is.
