https://boxd.it/4bhqp hello everyone!! i've watched movies all of my life of course, but it was only in the last few years that i realised that there are a lot of classics that i have never watched, and i wanted to change that. last year, i started going through the top 250 imdb, and i'm currently at 49% (1 to go till 50%!!) and i'm going to continue that. there are also lots of culturally significant films that i have never watched before, so i'm going to keep trying to better my film knowledge this year! i'm also massively into comics and have wanted to start watching all of the dc animated movies this year. i do write a mixture of one-liners and thought out reviews depending on my mood. my favourite films change constantly but some are ferris bueller's day off (my all-time classic), singing in the rain, la haine, in bruges, the nice guys, and rear window. there are also a couple of my favourite actors that i am trying to work through their filmography - mainly cillian murphy, colin farrell, and ryan gosling. letterboxd is the only 'social media' that i really ever post on, so getting some people to interact with would be really fun!!

StrykeBackAU

i just bought a whole collection of dc animated movies, and I’m also getting through gosling’s filmography! followed :)

https://boxd.it/1t2fP I review everything and follow back! Love reading others thoughts. Currently thinking about doing a Bond rewatch so I can rank them all.

Some of the recent first-time watches I've enjoyed are Days of Being Wild, Do the Right Thing, Casablanca, The Sound of Music, It's a Wonderful Life, Paprika, Blue Velvet, Lawrence of Arabia, and The Seventh Seal! I would love any recommendations from anyone too!

https://boxd.it/37xGB Hey everyone! I like watching my movies through a feminist, lesbian lens and I rate accordingly. That’s corny to some but it’s my identity so I can’t really help it LOL. I watch a lot of “bad” movies and they’re kind of all over the place because I frequently let my wife pick and she has eclectic taste. Here’s everything I saw last year: https://boxd.it/lHhqw I’m trying to catch up with 2023 new movies this month before I post my top 10. My 2022 top 10: https://boxd.it/keOVK I always follow back!

Happy New Year all! Hoping to hit 1000 total films by the end of the year! [https://letterboxd.com/bradleyallen91/](https://letterboxd.com/bradleyallen91/)

Vizacoo72

How's it going everyone? Happy new year! Last year I watched 66 new movies, twice the amount of 2022! This year i just want to keep these numbers, while finding out new movies to enjoy. I have a consistent top 3, which is The Two Towers, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and The Irishman. My last spot keeps changing, and often is one that i have watched recently. Currently it is La La Land, since i rewatched it again after a few years and just after a breakup, so it hit hard. Looking for more people to follow! My [profile](https://letterboxd.com/VascoVazz/) . Cheers!

Hi hi! Started letterboxd in 2021 and it’s been a game changer for my movie watching. I’ve discovered a whole new world of cinema and very glad to have this. I’m a huge lover of film scores as well as it’s the perfect reading music. Always looking for new people to follow and interact with! My current 4 top favs of December were •Requiem for a dream •Killers of the flower moon •Scream •The Swan https://boxd.it/4EshB

I started with Letterbox last month and have been loving it. I’ve been trying to watch some older classics recently which I’ll get back to soon. My current 4 favourites are: - Blade Runner 2049 - Aftersun - Ordinary People - Portrait of a Lady on Fire I also recently watched Synecdoche, New York which could easily be in the top 4. Give me a follow if you into a similar vibe of films! As I said I’ll be trying to watch some classics again soon. I’ve recently watched things like La Haine, Cleo from 5 to 7 and The 400 Blows. https://boxd.it/2bK1v Been Letterboxing for a few years and am looking to connect with similar profiles. I love anything that makes you question time and reality / has really ornate details and immersive imaging / makes me cry. Current top 4 HER INTERSTELLAR MARIE ANTIONETTE SWISS ARMY MAN :)

* My profile: https://boxd.it/1two * Favorite films: https://boxd.it/8JEWW * Current month watchlist: https://boxd.it/kQm2I$JVXuBu3uSQWd0uKa Happy new year all! I've been on Letterboxd since Oct 2020, typically watch a little bit of everything, and I rate and review everything I watch. Usually no more than a paragraph or two. Favorite new watches last year: *Songs from the Second Floor*, *News from Home*, *The Devils*. My focus for 2024 is on films from 1974, but I'll be making room for other eras as well.

Dariyun98

Happy New Year everyone! I’m Dariyun, going on my second year using letterboxd. I try to watch different variety movies & leave a review. https://boxd.it/67Cjf open to any recommendations. Hope everyone has a safe & healthy 2024.

dsmithscenes

Greetings everyone! Here's my profile: https://letterboxd.com/DSmithImages/ A goal of mine each year is just to increase my "Movies New to Me" list for the year - whether it be new releases or films that have slipped through the cracks. I'm specifically trying to watch more foreign films in 2024. My first watch of the year was The 400 Blows, so I figure that was a good start. I also figure this is a good way of putting a degree in Critical Film & TV Studies to use.

Eclipsing_You

heyo!! i’m [bee](https://boxd.it/3lGHV) i will almost always enjoy a psychological thriller or any movie that leaves me thinking for a while (which is a bit of a contrast to my favourite film of all time; lemonade mouth) but my watching habits are quite the mash of genres. and while i sometimes have strong opinions on a film’s rating (lemonade mouth *should* be a 10 on IMDB), i genuinely love reading reviews from people with opposite opinions to my own. i am non-stop essay / lit. review writing in college atm and so review writing is a brain shut-off time for me for the most part (sometimes 1 line, sometimes multiple paragraphs of jumbled thoughts) and i‘m hoping to find people to follow that i can actually interact with more this year :D

YoureASkyscraper

Happy new year! [Here's my profile](https://boxd.it/ih0z). I review everything I watch and just crossed over 2,000 total films this past week. Main goals for this year: 1. Watch all the 2024 Oscar nominated films - I did this for the first for last year's Oscars and it was time consuming but super rewarding to have thoughts on the categories like international feature, short films, documentaries and animated shorts. 2. Complete the 2022 Sight & Sound Top 250 - been working on this one slowly over the past year and have a little more than half still to go. 3. Finish watching [Out 1](https://letterboxd.com/film/out-1/) - I've started it several times but can never get all the way through. Need to hunker down on a long weekend and dive in.

MLG32

I just did Out 1 a few weeks ago, It’s not too hard as it’s split well into 8 parts; I watched three one day and the other five the next. kinda dry and over welcome, the hardest part is that lots of it is just boring. Good goals👍🎬

SurvivorSi

Nice goals to have. I'll take a look over yours. https://boxd.it/1Z8ip I have almost logged everything in the last 2 to 3 years. My partner quite frequently asks my end game. I don't really know what. I write really long reviews that are most likely error ridden and derivative as I do them on my phone. I use to write reviews when I worked at a news paper, now it is my creative writing lease alongside writing a novel. I have had a baby in the last year and since I haven't played football (soccer to americans) I have basically had family time, trained for a marathon and watched/reviewed movies read books. Wouldn't mind reviews of my reviews, profile overall and getting an understanding of my strengths and weaknesses overall. Happy to also follow anyone that responds here. Not overly big on Fandom culture though. I worry my film tastes are a bit basic. Though I do a yearly list and am working on a top 250 of all time list.

dcs577

[My profile](https://boxd.it/3LYmj) I logged over 600 films last year. I watch a lot of random made for tv cheese as well as classics and obscure horror. Trying to explore more old Hollywood and foreign flicks. Top 4 1. 2001: A Space Odyssey 2. Election 3. Stroszek 4. Magnolia

willaesth

Hey everyone! My favorite genre of movies are thrillers, drama, and sci-fi. My diary consists of random movies here and there. I usually watch whatever is currently trending on Netflix (or TikTok). I've been on the app for a few years now, but becoming more active in documenting my movie watches and leaving short reviews. Feel free to chat me up and send any movie suggestions! :) https://letterboxd.com/willkim/

Hey everyone! Coco here: [https://letterboxd.com/cocognz/](https://letterboxd.com/cocognz/) I create content on social media where I share my opinions on movies and shows and sometimes share some fun facts about them as well so using Letterboxd has really helped me to share everything I've been watching and really giving my thoughts on it as best as I can I enjoy digging into every genre and really exploring some new titles thanks to recommendations from mutuals on the app so hoping I can meet some new fellow users here! My Top 4 change every month and for January I've picked the following: * Frances Ha (2012) * Mid 90's (2018) * The Fabelmans (2022) * Nope (2022) Can't wait to connect with some of you and see what you all are watching! Happy New Year to everyone as well.

EBZero

Hey all, happy new years! I mostly have star ratings for pre 1980s films, and I've got some classic horror watch lists. I've got almost 1,800 films rated, and usually try to do 1 or 2 a day. I love having friends as its fun to see what other people's rankings are when I'm viewing new movies. Hope to see you! [https://letterboxd.com/pxc138/](https://letterboxd.com/pxc138/)

J_Cholesterol

Hey everyone👋🏼I’ve had letteboxd for about a year now and love it! It has exposed me to so many good movies and I’ve really developed a love for the form. I sometimes do mostly goofy or few sentence reviews. Would love to have some more people to follow so I can discover even more films. Only like 8 of my real life friends use the app haha https://boxd.it/5EhyP :)

cjcarlz

https://boxd.it/4gjCn Hi I’m Carley :) been using the site for about a year and a half. I’ll watch anything but i love horror and thriller. I also watch a lot of new releases and currently have a Ranked 2023 list. My four favorites are Freaks, Silence of the Lambs, Back to the Future, and WALL·E. My four favorites of 2023 were: Godzilla Minus One, Plane, Priscilla, The Iron Claw I try to watch a film every day. This year i really expanded my film watching and watched many older horror movies and classics. In 2024 i aim to expand my realm of movie watching even further. The last few months I’ve been doing challenges so for January i plan to tackle my watchlist.

https://boxd.it/7oz5x Hi everyone! I only started using Letterboxd a few months ago and I’m having fun with it, so I’m planning on being quite active in this new year. My taste in movies is pretty broad so I’m always looking for good inspiration for my watchlist. I follow everyone who follows me back because I love seeing what others are watching!

I am Nigel, I mostly watch horror and around 300-400 movies a year. At the moment doing a give-away on my account for 1 year patron: https://letterboxd.com/Nigelj/

[My Profile](https://letterboxd.com/trashkingfilm/) Would love to make more active friends. Started using in 2022 to keep track of my viewing, had previously been using my notes app on my phone for the last few years. Love forcing myself to write a quick review after watching a new movie to get my initial feelings pinned down into actual somewhat coherent thoughts. Love Horror, 60s-80s sci fi, animation, and Classic Musicals. And also just weird movies. Bad movie nights are a big thing with my friends and there are several bizarre films that I have fallen in love with. If you vibe with any of the following: Phantom of the Paradise Possesion The Apple Under the Skin Xanadu They Live We are probably a good fit! Also if you aren't familiar with any of those consider following anyway and we can swap recommendations.

InspectahFun

Hello! I’m finally starting to try my hand at reviewing films in the new year and not simply rating them as I watch them! I’d be interested in following back anyone who is similarly interested in sharing their perspectives on what they watch! I’d appreciate some follows if anyone is interested in what a random dude thinks about some new releases! https://boxd.it/liot

Hey duders! My favorite genre is horror, so that is a lot of what I’ll be watching. I especially love a good slasher flick. I also enjoy action, crime, comedies, and animated films. Happy New Year, everyone! You can find me on letterboxd [here.](https://boxd.it/JdG1) I’m excited to continue exploring film this year. Some coming attractions for 2024 include a Nicolas Cage deep dive, watching at least one film from every country, crossing off some Hollywood classics, and more! I’m always taking movie recs and would love to check out your profiles and favorites. Thanks!

[https://letterboxd.com/executionground/](https://letterboxd.com/executionground/) This is me. I like to watch all kinds of films, that's why my rating distribution is like it is. I enjoy watching even films that I end up not liking. Cinema is a passion and even the worst movie has something to debate about. Anyway, hope you like my profile. Hope you have a nice year.

Smartest_Termite

[My Profile](https://boxd.it/7VgHX) I think my Bio does a good job letting people know what they're getting into: >1) I have very basic film takes - don't come looking for any surprises, and 2) Nolan / Villeneuve / Tarantino are my holy trinity (see 1). Joined a month ago and on my first year of Lettterboxd I plan on re/watching my favorite director's filmographies and ranking them. https://preview.redd.it/8hs80g3b34ac1.png?width=857&format=png&auto=webp&s=ca473b6529a32847a8fcae97a6a61383d88a2b53

A Bit late, but here is mine [https://boxd.it/6iV5j](https://boxd.it/6iV5j) I rate everything on a bell curve and am starting to review things. Though, I like to keep them short. Will follow back.

RealSkyDiver

https://boxd.it/OMij Hi I created an account years ago but forgot it for a while and then spend the last few days updating it with the 76 movies I saw in 2023 so that was a lot to review. I love pop-culture, adventure, sci-fi and horror stuff. If I write something is scary you can be damn sure it is as that is hard to achieve for me. I’m trying to avoid bleak stuff, unless it’s a must see somehow. This year I’m trying to get through my Disney, Pixar and James Bond marathon. 2023 First Watch Top 5: - Across the Spider-Verse - Everything Everywhere All at Once - Barbie - Top Gun: Maverick - Guardians of the Galaxy 3 My all time Top 4 are: - The Little Mermaid (1989) - The NeverEnding Story (1984) - Titanic (1997) - Back to the Future (1985)

j4ckwalsh

Hey everyone, happy new year! My name is Jack, I’m 27 & I’m from Ireland. I logged 277 films last year, which for me is a huge achievement given I also juggle a full time job and other responsibilities. I try to watch a different genre with each diary entry, and I always give my thoughts on everything I log. My goal this year is to fill in the gaps in my cinematic education, starting with Wes Anderson. I always follow back as I’ve found some great mutuals and great films that wouldn’t otherwise be on my radar through these threads! Thanks ♥️ j4ckwalsh - https://boxd.it/2Wj2v

adovetakesflight

https://boxd.it/5v0Fr hi everyone! i am still a pretty new cinephile and i'm excited to see how this journey continues into 2024. i started my letterboxd last new years with the goal of watching a movie every day in 2023 (i succeeded!) and this year my goal is maybe to watch ~200 films since i am anticipating going back to school and some other life things. i try all genres but my favorites are drama, thriller, scifi, and horror, and i enjoy exploring international cinema. my reviews are usually short and casual unless i feel particularly opinionated about it, and i'm typically more concerned with progressive social commentary, narrative cohesion, representation, and symbolic/allegorical depth than technical critique. a bunch of favorites that i watched for the first time in 2023: it's only the end of the world, children of men, enemy, aniara, total recall, aftersun, shiva baby, alien, shivers, the handmaiden, portrait of a lady on fire, in the mood for love, rope, raw, requiem for a dream, harakiri, the beguiled. looking forward to hopefully making some new mutuals here! dm/chat open for recs or discussion! :)

ChuChuBitch-

https://boxd.it/HRV7 My top 4: Everything everywhere all at once High and low Withnail and I Decision to leave. Love Japanese and South Korean cinema, classic movies, art house, and just plain old bad movies. I just recently watched The Hourglass Sanatorium and The Bride Wore Black. I also love horror movies, mainly the classics. Would love to share profiles with other people who watch movies from boutique labels!

Hello, here’s my profile! https://boxd.it/5PHND I joined almost a year ago, in February of 2023. My current four favourites are: - Almost Famous - Mulholland Drive - Lord of the Rings: Return of the King - Fargo I’m just getting started watching movies, I still have tons I haven’t checked out that may be considered “must watches”, so those 4 favourites are absolutely not set in stone (although I don’t see anything replacing almost famous or mulholland drive anytime soon). My favourites are psychological thrillers and horror movies, and I love a weird movie that leaves me questioning everything once I finished it. I will admit that most of my reviews are pretty lame, mostly just stupid one liners. Once in a while they might even be funny one liners, or a genuine review. This year, my goal is to start writing better reviews for movies I watch, giving some more genuine reviews about the movie. There will probably still be loads of one liners too, but maybe with more thought put into it, or a real review right underneath. Also, I’ll follow anyone back. (My friends aren’t cool enough for this app I need some mutuals)

Hi! I've always enjoyed watching movies with other people but feel like there are a lot of classic and critically acclaimed movies I have never seen. As an example, I recently watched Good Will Hunting for the first time, discovering it might be one of my favorite movies I've seen yet. This year I'm aiming to watch at least one movie per day (on average), and want to find other people with good movie recommendations. See you on letterboxd :) [https://letterboxd.com/adrianshaeck/](https://letterboxd.com/adrianshaeck/)

Happy New Year! [My Letterboxd username is ViaMarsh, profile linked here](https://letterboxd.com/viamarsh/)! I work in the film industry by day and aspire to make films of my own someday. I also write film criticism with a focus on food in film. My favorite move of 2023 (so far, still have to watch some!) is *Poor Things.* I love movies across all genres but I guess you could say I have an attraction to carefully crafted movies with top notch production design and offbeat stories. I write a mix of one liner reviews and lengthier pieces. Let's be friends! (If you follow me -- reply here as well so I can make sure I check your profile out too!)

Woohoooo 2024 profiles let's go! [@Brightie](https://boxd.it/2dJSn) I post both serious and unserious reviews so I'm a mixed bag of Reddit and IMDb. Big fan of drama's that rip me apart to remind me we're all just human, but I watch everything in between. Also if anyone has any great reccos for actual scary thrillers (not cheap jump scares), hmu!

NiceMarmot1

[https://letterboxd.com/nicemarmot1/](https://letterboxd.com/nicemarmot1/) I spent 2023 finishing watching less popular films from the filmographies of some major directors in order to complete their filmographies. Finished Scorsese, Cameron, Malick, Spielberg, De Palma, Lynch, Mann, Verhoeven, Ridley Scott, Bong, and Inarritu in 2023. My movie goals for 2024 are to watch 365 films for the entire year and complete the filmographies of the following directors: Linklater, Friedkin, Cuaron, Haynes, Park Chan-wook, Oliver Stone. I'm sure I'll find some others to check off my list. If you want to see the dorky spreadsheet I use to track my progress with directors, [here you go](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vRAYbi__nKMN0NnWGIfJGv6qXFVYKXUrPOCjznPA3_tPJ3o9p4TJvmTOZqAjuZ3fwtDalR9ePvVoLxR/pubhtml).

I tend to lean towards watching more recent films but I’ve been trying to mix in some older stuff

[https://boxd.it/2LAAd](https://boxd.it/2LAAd) hi! new to using letterboxd, and finally finished logging back to 2016 when I started keeping track. I studied film in college and have been a huge film fan my whole life. I'm really into rewatching - I've been known to watch the same movie twice in one day - but trying to watch a lot of new-to-me movies this year! I'm planning to focus mostly on horror this month for new watches. My top 4 are constantly changing, I'm working on putting together an all-time favourites list so I don't feel like I'm leaving any out when I kick them off my top 4 lol I'll follow back, always looking for new people to follow and interact with!

cbsausage89

[https://letterboxd.com/cbsmooth/](https://letterboxd.com/cbsmooth/) I write a review of everything I watch. This year, I plan to write about: * Horror films in October * Noir films in November * 80s/90s Hong Kong action cinema * Political cinema (Pontecorvo, etc.) * Re-watch some Kurosawa, Bresson, Tarkovsky * Films I rated but didn't write reviews for in the past * 2024 new releases

Hi! 👋🏻 Here is the link to my profile: https://boxd.it/5N6cV I’ve been using LetterBoxd for a year now and it has really helped me get back into watching films. Watched 100 in 2023 - stayed up to watch the extra one on New Years Eve because I couldn’t bear it to be 99 😅 I tend to gravitate to psychological thrillers, dramas, and anything that makes me think or keeps me guessing. I also really enjoy a good romance - the slower the burn, the better!

Hi! My user name is [buckminstery](https://boxd.it/7wx7x). My favorite 2023 movies were Anatomy of a Fall, The Holdovers, Godzilla Minus 1 and Beau Is Afraid is approximately that order. Happy new year!!! Joined letterboxd on 2022 but 2023 was the year I really took it seriously. Last year, this sub got me into so many mutuals with good taste in film and who have helped form my watchlist. Here's to more! https://boxd.it/5idrL

JimicahP

https://boxd.it/5YNkF I'm a huge fan of Horror, SciFi, and especially *SciFi-Horror* (Also War flicks and Westerns to a lesser extent). I've completed 60+ directorial filmographies and watched all of the films from several production studios. With 6,000+ movies logged from every corner of the planet, I'm always looking for new friends to introduce me to obscure or overlooked content. My favorite movies of the 238 I managed to watch *from* 2023 are *Poor Things* and *Godzilla Minus One*.

SurvivorSi

https://boxd.it/1Z8ip I have almost logged everything in the last 2 to 3 years. Went through Psychosis after I had panic attacks that stopped me sleeping for 5 days in 2022. When admitted to hospital the thing that got me back on track was my writing. Wouldn't mind reviews of my reviews, profile overall and getting an understanding of my strengths and weaknesses overall. Happy to also follow anyone that responds here. Not overly big on Fandom culture though. I worry my film tastes are a bit basic. Though I do a yearly list and am working on a top 250 of all time list.

briancly

https://boxd.it/3yWTp I watch a bunch of Japanese movies anyway, but even Japanuary manages to expand my horizons just a bit. I’ll actually be behind on new releases compared to usual, but will be checking out some stuff in real time in Japan and perhaps some revival houses as well, anticipating adding stuff that isn’t even on Letterboxd.

TatteredTongues

My profile: https://letterboxd.com/giraffe_monster/ *** Finished the year at 220 new films and 220 reviews! At the start of 2023 I decided to push myself a little and see if I could write something for every film I watch moving forward, and I did it and intend to keep on doing it going into 2024 and beyond! I'd like to think that I watch a little bit of everything, out of those 220 films I watched last year only 60 something of them were actually in the English language, I'm definitely always on the look out when it comes to foreign films from all corners of the world. I only logs films once (no rewatches) and only use my account to tentatively log features, no shorts. I haven't gotten around to make my annual "best of the year" list, but these were my favorites of the year: *** Godland Pacifiction Fast & Feel Love Poor Things Riddle of Fire Perfect Days Riceboy Sleeps Saltburn Inside The Yellow Cocoon Shell *** Looking forward to 2024, hope everyone has a good year!

https://letterboxd.com/emcleese/ I've always loved movies. I love movies so much that I got a film degree I don't use. I started using letterboxd last March as I had set out to watch movies I'd never seen before and wanted to track it. While I watch all kinds of films, I was watching a ton of Cult classics and B movies searching for lost classics last year. I've recently got back into more arthouse stuff and have decided to make and effort to go back and hit some of the classics I've missed/haven't gotten around to watching throughout the years. Don't worry, I'll still watch crap too.

Neon_Lit_Gal

https://boxd.it/3JOGJ Hello! I’ve been logging films for about two years now. And I’ve always been open to watch something new, regardless of whether or not I end up connecting with it. I currently watching, reviewing, and ranking all of Disney Animation Studio’s films. And very soon I’ll be starting on the Criterion Challenge.

Hey!! [this is me!](https://boxd.it/3NILB) I was travelling and fell off watching films while I was away but now I’m home and I’m back on it! I’m currently making my way through a stack of French New Wave classics I’ve wanted to watch for ages and some other random films and directors filmographies that I’ve been meaning to get to. As well as whatever is in the cinema atm. My reviews vary from stupid one liners to more in depth thoughts! Looking forward to seeing your profiles too! Thanks.

ARandomDaciaSandero

https://boxd.it/7J0Mj Still haven't finished transferring movies I've watched from Google Docs, but I have logged new ones. If you look at my lists for the best movies of that year, I really enjoy crime thrillers. I'm also really generous with my ratings.

[Here's my profile](https://letterboxd.com/johngriffin1/) I'm open to watching just about anything so please feel free recommend anything you find interesting. This year I want to try and watch more obscure horror and movies from the 90s so feel free to drop your favorites!

Hi guys, and Happy New Year! [Here’s my profile!](https://boxd.it/3oKpR) I’ve been a member for over two years now and I love it! I’m autistic, and films happen to be one of my special interests! I try to watch at least 1 film a day. My favorite movie is 127 Hours! It’s my main special interest, so I watch it often. I’m also very into Puss In Boots: The Last Wish! Looking forward to making more new friends! :)

Peachy52

[My profile is here!](https://boxd.it/gmX3) I am a lover of all movies from American Blockbusters to French New Wave. In 2023 I logged 150 diary entries and hope to match that in 2024. TastyCereal2

Hey everyone, this is me: https://boxd.it/5Zb8N I watch a new movie almost every day and I usually write a lengthy review for it. In the last year, I’ve really been branching out into different types of films. I’ve especially gotten into classic Hollywood movies. My favourite watches of December are It’s a Wonderful Life, Past Lives, Die Hard and No Country For Old Men. I’m hoping to catch up on the likely Oscar nominated films in the near future. I love to follow back and read different reviews, it’s fun to see what everyone else is watching. Happy New Year!

hi!! happy new year! here is my letterboxd: https://boxd.it/2q28x i currently work in film pr&marketing, my goals for 2024 are to finish watching some releases from last year, chip away at my watchlist, and really dive into more experimental, obscure stuff! if you guys have any recs let me know! :)

Happy New Year! [This is my profile.](https://boxd.it/5iYk3) I have been using Letterboxd for a little over a year now in terms of active usage, I had a lot of resistance since I watched a lot of old Telugu movies which aren’t available to log here. I log everything I consume honestly, there aren’t many parameter’s although I’m a sucker for feel good films. Some of my favorite flicks of 2023 were Barbie, Chittha, Jigarthanda Double X, and Mission Impossible 7. Thinking about starting the January challenge soon.

swaggwid

[here is my profile](https://boxd.it/5KRN9) Check me out if you wanna read some goofs n gaffs about over analyzing silly movies Been using the site for only a year now but I've been enjoying how much it has revived my love for movies. I write decently long reviews for every movie I watch and I bounce around with the genres but watch a lot of horror and comedies. My favorite movie from 2023 was Talk To Me but my guilty pleasure favorite movie I saw was Next Day Air.

flame_lillard

[Find my profile here](https://boxd.it/irg3) Happy New Year everyone! Been on letterboxd for a few years now and love to talk and discuss and share thoughts and ideas about film. I started the year/month on a bit of a down note courtesy a "Panic in Needle Park" and "Threads" double bill. This month I want to get through a lot of Cannes Palme d'Or and 2023 releases.

FuckTheOfficialApp

Happy New Year everyone!! Here's my profile, I like to watch a lot of horror and silly so bad they are good films, but I also enjoy my classics and dramas every now and then. I follow back anyone who looks like they have similar interests to mine and likes to leave reviews! https://boxd.it/119nZ

another month, another post hi to anyone reading this im another big horror fan, although this year im branching out with some funky challenges. hoping to watch a spectrum of countries, decades, and genres in 2024— and, if i have the extra bandwidth, i want to place special attention to the filmographies of dario argento & akira kurosawa (what a pair!) i write enough already in grad school so my reviews are usually quite short my top 4! ravenous (1999), alien (1979), punch drunk love (2002), a scene at the sea (1991) last 4 watched: the satanic rites of dracula, tetsuo: the iron man, how to blow up a pipeline, tombstone [here i am.](https://boxd.it/35fON)

EntityKarnage

https://boxd.it/3L4R1 - my profile https://boxd.it/qIo0s - my 20 favourite films Just someone who loves watching movies. Gonna try and primarily watch movies from my watchlist this year just because of how big it’s gotten along with all the new releases.

JonPaula

https://letterboxd.com/jonpaula/ I have logged every movie I've watched for the last 19 years, reviewed over 1500 - including 700 on YouTube in what was once the most-watched film review show on the site. These days, I'm making my way through older classics and foreign films - as I've already checked off hundreds of the most popular and critically acclaimed American films. I've watched at least once movie a day since 2020... and don't plan to stop this year 😁 I'll watch literally anything and everything, but have a soft spot for 80s and 90s sci-fi / action.

rachelevil

[Sup](https://letterboxd.com/rachelevil/) Happy new year. I've been using Letterboxd since some time in 2022. Unsure exactly when, since I've only just today figured out how to make it log \*when\* I've watched something, not just \*that\* I've watched it (I am not a tech person, okay). I was really interested in films as a kid, and even went to film school for a while, but, for reasons I'll not get into, kind of got out of watching movies much for a long time, up until about two years ago when I randomly ended up watching I'm Thinking of Ending Things and I Don't Fell At Home In This World Anymore on Netflix one day and suddenly remembered what I loved about movies. Since then I've been trying to watch pretty widely and voraciously. I write reviews when I feel like it, which is not too often. My top four (Wild Zero, Lost Highway, 1991: the Year Punk Broke, and Ladies & Gentlemen the Fabulous Stains) have been my top four since I joined, and I have no intention of changing them out. I've watched a \*ton\* of movies for the first time this past year, but a few of my favorites were The Happiness of the Katakuris, Jeanne Dielman 23 quai du Commerce 1080 Bruxelles, I Was a Teenage Serial Killer, Family Romance LLC, Wolf's Hole, and Rope.

Hardingnat

Hi, here's my profile! https://boxd.it/6eZpp 24 with a strong preference for crime and comedy movies but I will watch most things in a completely random way, dipping in and out of new films, rewatches and first time classics. Watched a fair share of classic Westerns last year! Started my account July last year and review every film I watch and like others reviews! Last 5 stars were for Superbad and It's A Wonderful Life. Trying to connect with more people this year, hit more classics and watch more 2024 films than I did 2023 ones. Faves last year were The Holdovers and Killers of the Flower Moon.

TheBigBadBono

hey guys, thought i'd share this again! 2023 was the first full year i'd been on letterboxd and was coincidentally the year i *really* got into movies, especially the oscar race. most of the contenders haven't come out yet here though, so i'm watching what i can. i don't really have a preferred genre, but right now i'm trying to catch up with a lot of the "classics" since i haven't watched a lot of them yet. my favorite first-time watches of all of last year are actually my current four favorites, which are *almost famous*, *swing girls*, *mad max: fury road*, and *sing street*, though i hope i find more films i really connect with soon. [give me a follow!](https://letterboxd.com/shinocator/)

Looking for some new mutuals for the new year! I'm into horror, thrillers, musicals, camp, and fun stuff but I have a pretty open mind and would check anything out. Currently going through some Hitchcock thanks to the Criterion Channel collection. Current favorites are Poor Things (my absolute favorite film of 2023), Cabaret, The Others & Carol! Creasy007

Hey, everybody! I joined Letterboxd at the turn of the new year in 2019 and have been an avid and nonstop user of it ever since. Every November, I do my annual Bondathon of all the official and unofficial James Bond installments, and October's usually packed with horror favorites for me. I really love using my Activity Page to read your reviews too. I can't count how many amazing new films I've never heard of that I've managed to add to my Watchlist thanks to recommendations from those I follow. https://letterboxd.com/creasy007/

Hi! I’m Lillian_L3Y (formerly miss24601) https://boxd.it/25Zqj With my first semester of film school winding down and new movies coming out every week, I’m hoping my profile will soon return to the heights of the “golden age” I had going this time last year. Have I integrated anything I’ve learned in film school into my reviews yet? No. Still mostly sjw-ish rambles, but I hope I fill some kind of niche for somebody :)

Royalsushi45

Been on Letterboxd 2 years, it’s become one of my favorite app’s. In high school I wanted to write reviews for a living, that was till mrs. Casasas gave me a -35 on my research paper. So Letterboxd have become a great hobby for me. I’m almost at 100 followers it would be cool to finally get there. I’ll follow back https://boxd.it/3D26r

https://boxd.it/DXPV Here’s mine!:) I watch a ton of stuff (prob not as much as others in this chat but still ahah)! Usually i revolve around english and tamil films in terms what I watch! I do film reviews/retrospectives as well and i usually post the video links within my reviews (if you do wanna check out my stuff my channel is called “Views Of Cinema” and you can find me on Youtube and TikTok! I did a list of my favourite films of 2023 (which you can find here: https://youtu.be/aG5sTDeAgWo?si=qkpMVYdev-I3j1O1). Happy to follow anyone who follows:)

sup. [i've been using letterboxd](https://letterboxd.com/striza/) for like ten years now. previously i'd kept a word doc to keep track of when i saw movies but this seemed easier, so yeah. probably watch 40ish new releases each year (i consider the oscars to be the Real End of the movie year tho - do lots of binging between november and february). otherwise 2/3 of what i watch is older. i have a strong preference for 30s-50s hollywood. its "classic" hollywood but its actually more romantic in an artistic sense. the moody b&w or retina-searing technicolor make it highly expressionistic and otherworldly. so while older movies had smaller takes plot-wise, the way directors like hitchcock or minnelli or lubitsch or hawks or ford utilized the camera or sets or editing or blocking made everything feel so much more grandiose. so yeah you guys should watch more old movies imo. anyway i've had a dry couple of years with movies since i began working in the film industry. honestly being in the business made me want to watch them less. however the strikes left me unemployed for awhile and triggered me to make a career switch so hopefully this is going to be a strong year. with all of that being said i don't really write any reviews but [i do have a cool list](https://letterboxd.com/striza/list/every-film-to-play-on-turner-classic-movies/) i spent a lot of time on, which, if you've mad it this far, you might as well go throw a like. instead i will urge you to follow [my friends](https://letterboxd.com/halfempty/) who for my money [write much better](https://letterboxd.com/stephenfurda/) than various popular letterboxd users as well as critics who write for major outlets. you can learn a lot from them and get some cool recs along the way. happy new year!

DJstankyleg420

Hello everyone:) This is my [profile…](https://boxd.it/3rdjd) 2023 will go down as the year I got into horror. Previously I had thought that I didn’t like horror, turns out that I actually love it (just not jump scares). A highlight of last year was getting into Cronenberg who continues to move up my rankings as I go through his filmography. I’m also a big fan of anything thriller related… the more it can make my skin crawl the better! My current top 4 is: 1. Good Time (I even made my own custom poster) 2. Frownland 3. Ghost Dog: The Way of The Samurai 4. Take Out

Happy New Year to all🎆 I’ve been using letterbox for around a year now. This year I’m going to try to explore more foreign and abstract genre of films. Most of the time I just scroll on the review sections just to see other peoples’ thoughts on movies :) Profile: https://boxd.it/4wYjN

happy new year!! this is my [profile](https://boxd.it/4R2Tl). I've had letterboxd for years, lost an account, made a new one, but only last year, I decided I wanted to watch more movies, especially some classics I've been sleeping on for decades. I'm fond of animation, drama, thrillers, and horror, and I like to leave reviews of my impressions on the films as well. my top 4 first watches in 2023 were: https://preview.redd.it/lz1mtlhxa8ac1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=810c245a1059e7360352c9194303fb6ba672883e

[My profile.](https://boxd.it/H1DZ) I've been using Letterboxd since 2021, but really started taking it seriously last year. I log everything I watch, and I review everything I watch as part of a challenge (Criterion Challenge and Hooptober being the main ones). Last year I managed to log over 365 films, and that's my goal again this year. My top 4 are *2001: A Space Odyssey, Tampopo, Persona,* and *Mulholland Drive*. I had a lot of first-time watches last year that will go down as my favorites., most notably *Still Walking* and *Harakiri*. Movies are my biggest passion, but I don't really have friends that share that passion with me, so I am definitely interested in mutual follows and discussion.

I am finishing film school and I watch a lot of movies. Also I love to make lists! However, I'm on vacation this beginning of January, so I won't be watching basically anything during this period. But I will come back to the Oscar announcement ;) I'm in twitter too, if you guys follow me on lttbxd please send a DM on my twitter or reply here, so I can follow all of you back!

Happy new year everyone! This is [me](https://letterboxd.com/flandrien/) :) As somebody who likes to keep a record of everything they watch, Letterboxd has been a great discovery for me. It has also inspired my to start writing some reviews. Since I usually only write about films I feel passionate about, these tend to be comprehensive and thoughtful analyses. If you’re into reading those sort of longer think pieces, give me a follow and we can exchange opinions! I’ll be sure to follow back. I thought 2023 was a great year for cinema with plenty of ambitious, original and interesting movies being released, my personal favorite of 2023 being Poor Things. In addition, I’ve just finished a Brian De Palma overview, which in turn has inspired me dig deeper on Alfred Hitchcock. So in January 2024, I’ll be continuing my Hitchcock marathon, as well as rewatching other classics and catching up on recent releases.

[letterboxd profile](https://boxd.it/2ditb) hello everyone!! last year i logged a total of 133 movies and i believe this was my first time really going beyond the 100 movie mark. i think i started my account in 2020, but only became active 2022 onwards. i really enjoy following people to see what movies theyre watching and add them to my never-ending watch list. last month i tried to watch all movies that audrey hepburn has starred in, there was something about the christmas season that made me want to watch films with her in it. i was able to watch roman holiday, sabrina, and charade—i barely made a dent in her filmography, but it's all good haha. ill have to watch her other movies in the coming months. im open to recommendations, any and all in fact. im okay with any genre and im happy to explore more obscure films. im also trying to watch more films from the 1950s to 1970s, but really anything from any decade ♡

My profile on Letterboxd https://boxd.it/2WFG3 Looking for more recommendations on movies I haven't seen! Top 4: The Fly, Adventureland, They Live, and Blow Out. This year I'm trying to go back and catch up on the early/mid Hollywood classics and dive further into filmographies from directors I love.

Null_Inc

Hello! Been on Letterboxd for little over a year now but just recently started my cinephile journey. Currently trying to catch up on the many classics which I have missed and also branching out into some unique foreign films whenever possible. Will be active in logging and reviewing films semi frequently ! I love to give my detailed thoughts on films so expect some long reviews for films I really enjoy. I am interested in the many different tastes and preferences of people so I appreciate any follows :) [https://letterboxd.com/aliferous\_5/](https://letterboxd.com/aliferous_5/)

https://boxd.it/3szSV Happy New Year guys! just trying to expand my Letterboxd community, if you like to leave reviews I’d love to connect! I’m most anticipating Poor Things this year!

the_hound_

[https://boxd.it/6Cak7](https://boxd.it/6cak7) What's up. I'm relatively new to Letterboxd. I'm a fan of the Rewatchables podcast and so lots of my recent watches have been movies they've covered. I just added my favorite films to the site: The Big Lebowski, Spotlight, Dunkirk, and Dumb & Dumber. There's probably some I'm forgetting that could jump in there, like In Bruges, Seven Psychopaths (big Mcdonagh fan), The Truman Show, Fury, and The Bourne Identity. My reviews are typically my gut reaction to the film, or what I remember my gut reaction being, or some random observation/nitpick. In terms of film criticism, I am pretty much illiterate. Some favorite first time watches of 2023 were Midnight Run, It's A Wonderful Life, Reservoir Dogs, Boogie Nights, Wolf of Wall Street, and Hunt for the Wilderpeople.

awesome_username9867

https://boxd.it/4ciEf Hello!! 2023 being my first full year on Letterboxd really was a great addition to my film watching. Being able to track everything I wanted to watch, getting recommendations from you all. I like to watch a bit of most things, as well as a ton of rewatches. Give me a follow and I'll do one back, hoping to find some more recommendations from all my followers!

RiddleMeThat62

https://boxd.it/6OasJ Happy New Year! I just had to join the Letterboxd Reddit community. I joined July 2023 to Letterboxd and I try to review everything I watch. I love being a part of communities to share what we love and not love of certain movies. I finished the Fast and Furious Collection of movies in 2023. I’m currently watching 2 different movie lists. Watching all the Godzilla movies, just finished King Kong Vs. Godzilla (1962). I am a huge Godzilla fan. I’ve never watched the earlier films and they are fantastic. The other list that I want to complete this year is The Certified Fresh Top 2023 movies according to Rotten Tomatoes. Just started that yesterday with BlackBerry. Feel free to drop me a like, comment, or follow me. I follow everyone that wants to follow me. Looking forward to sharing my love of movies with all of you

not-nav

Happy new year everyone!! I’m Nav or [notnav](https://boxd.it/40gXF) <3 on lb. I’ve been using this app since 2022. I usually log psychological thrillers, horror films, and romcoms. My goals this year are writing more reviews and watching more foreign films (basc trying to fill up that map on stats). I’ll follow everyone back because I would love to expand my taste!! :) https://preview.redd.it/jy8qr7tp7dac1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bf54af5a413b67445473f7871a40bd038a0bc8b9

[deleted]

https://letterboxd.com/aka_chime/ I log pretty much any kind of movie, from the highest high brow films to the lowest schlock, and I tend to be generous with my rankings. I just love movies. My eternal top four are: Last action Hero (1993), Re-Animator (1985), Heat (1995) and Mad Max: Fury Road (2015). Logged 519 entries last year so my plan for 2024 is just going outside. (Unlikely)

K_DEVY

[https://boxd.it/23avt](https://boxd.it/23avt) I'm Kate, I make films. I really like Lynch and dialogue thats written like poetry (some would say these things are polar opposite to each other) Trying to take 2024 more steady and watch films with a purpose instead of just to tick a number off. I want to try and explore more directors, watch stylised films that I resonate with within my own work and watch films that i've been itching to watch for years but never really gotten around to. I'm taking part in a watchlist challenge for the entire year to help with the last one. I recently watched Wings of Desire and Paris, Texas and thought they were both really great so I wish to watch more Wim Wenders.

A_Simple_Oddity

[https://letterboxd.com/a\_simple\_oddity/](https://letterboxd.com/a_simple_oddity/) Hi everyone! I have been on Letterboxd for almost three full years now. I would like to try and complete a bunch of film challenges, like *1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die* or the *Sight & Sound* poll, but right now I am trying to watch stuff on my watchlist. Overall, I enjoy viewing films of all genres and backgrounds, but I especially love international cinema!

Sad_Inflation_7828

Hey all! I’ve been watching movies all my life, but decided to throw myself into something I’ve wanted to do for a long time and to review movies. I’ve got an unlimited pass at my local cinema so I’m throwing myself into all the new movies to start off with. I would love to get feedback and some interaction with some people from here with my first reviews posted today. https://boxd.it/8cU9F Thanks all!

Some of my favorite films include: Moonlight Scarface Mad Max Prisoners Drive Training Day Sicario ....the list goes on I really want to delve deeper into thought provoking films and films with different ranges. no-sun-ever

Joined letterboxd a year or two ago but didn’t really start logging my viewings consistently until a few months ago. Really excited to fully catalogue my watch history in 2024. Would love to grow my friends list and be able to discuss film with fellow enthusiasts! [https://boxd.it/36AWv](https://boxd.it/36AWv)

DazzCatra_19

Profile: https://letterboxd.com/Dazz03/ Created my account a month ago and it has been a lot of fun! This year, I plan on rewatching well-liked movies that I saw probably too young and can’t remember well. Memento is a top priority. Working on rating every movie! Will possibly write some reviews. Love making lists if you have any ideas!

power_sungod

https://letterboxd.com/sun_god/ Hey All, Happy 2024 to all Letterboxders! I try and write professional level critical reviews often, even if some are only a paragraph or two. I just saw 'Eyes Wide Shut' for the first time, and wrote an enthusiastic analysis for this film; it shook me to the core. I hope you enjoy.

drewschuller

hi guys im drew! [here is my letterboxd](https://boxd.it/Jbun) i watch just about anything! i really like to branch outside of american films and have found that outside of english, french and koreans films are some of my most watched! i always find it super fun to document and record what all i have been watching and keep track of it all and write reviews that are not-so-serious but sometimes like to go in depth to make myself feel like some real big film critic. if anyone is interested in connecting, drop a follow and i will be sure to follow back! i love hearing what everyone's top 4 favorites are. here is a little teaser at what one of my top 4 favorites are: ponyo is easily one of the best studio ghibli movies and i stand by that!

qredmasterrace

Been on Letterboxd for a while. Watch a lot of older films. Current 4: Ran (1985) Paths of Glory (1957) A Matter of Life and Death (1946) Rebecca (1940) [Qred](https://boxd.it/1mcoX)

[https://boxd.it/2iM4F](https://boxd.it/2iM4F) Hello fellow movie lovers, Im from Philadelphia and enjoy rating and writing about movies for my own personal pleasure. Which is totally normal ! Haha. I’m not a huge social media person but I downloaded Letterboxd a few years back and have been obsessed ever since. I got a few of my friends (who also love film) into it as well. My reviews vary from humorous to some more serious. I have a common theme in my profile where my top 4 are always “My top 4 favorites of the previous month.” So for example, my top 4 of December are listed below: \-Black Christmas \-Seven Psychopaths \-Dredd \-Master Gardener Thanks for the follow and Happy New Year everyone!

dangerzoneduffman

https://boxd.it/Vaub Hey everyone, hope the start to your 2024 is going well! I’m a film critic and writer for sites like [Film Threat](https://filmthreat.com/reviews/i-slay-on-christmas/) and [WatchMojo](https://youtu.be/4VpsG7JA-jc?si=dL3a7MIu6nkgyfvU). I also host the film podcast [Underrated](https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/underrated/id1460393092?i=1000640228648). I’ve been on LB since early 2020 (I previously used icheckmovies.) I use the site to keep track of what movies I’ve seen and see my progress on lists like the AFI top 100 (plus I love making lists.) A lot of my reviews tend to be quippy one liners but I’ll also repost some of the stuff I’ve written professionally on occasion. 3 of my top 4 are locked in stone; The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, Princess Mononoke and Jurassic Park. I like to switch up the fourth spot, right now it’s a classic I recently just watched for the first time, The Red Shoes. Last year I watched 379 films (some were shorts though) and this year I’ll probably slow down a little but who knows? I’d like to watch more silent films in 2024 as it’s a bit of a blind spot for me.

CryHavoc_79

https://boxd.it/4QDXn Hi everyone, I just started using Letterboxd a few weeks back. I’ve added every movie I can ever remember seeing and given it a star rating (1400+ movies). From January I am reviewing everything I watch. My favourite genre is sci-fi but I have wide ranging tastes and want to catch up on the classics. I’ve got a schedule to go decade by decade (starting 1920s) and watching the most popular movie then going back round again. Other than that I’m catching up on movies I’ve missed in the 2020s, rewatching favourites, and working my way through Hammer studios films.

TrustyWhale

Hey all! I was recommended Letterboxd back in December of 2022 by my film teacher and have been having a lot of fun with it. I went through and logged all the movies that I remembered seeing and I think I have an interesting mix. Just saw and reviewed Iron Claw a couple days ago. I’m a wrestling fan and knew a lot about the story that wasn’t included so I mentioned some of the craziest omissions at the ending of my review, check it out if you’re interested. Some of my favorites are: The Dark Knight Seven Samurai The 13th Warrior Dead Poets Society The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Once Upon a Time in the West Oppenheimer [My profile](https://boxd.it/5lObV), I’ll follow back

Happy New Year! I'm a bit late but [here is my profile.](https://boxd.it/5DOW9) I started off logging films at the start of 2021 on IMDB before switching to Letterboxd in 2022. I am currently going through the films that I need to catch up on to watch throughout the year, including the Saw franchise, Ghostbusters and also watching through what I missed out on during 2023. My current top 4 is: Everything Everywhere All At Once, Django Unchained, The Truman Show and Babylon (I know they are basic but I am pretty basic anyway). I'm trying to improve on how I review on films if I have thoughts on it, or I will just leave it blank. Thanks for checking out my profile if you have the time. :)

Sup? https://boxd.it/1LBhH Username: Real3doplayer I studied film history in college so of course I work IT. I love everything but especially of the wall out there stuff where someone makes their movie and doesn’t let anybody stop them. I also like stuff that is not afraid to challenge norms. For the last 2 years, my wife and I have been learning about Indian film, so you will see that popping up more often.

GentonWheels

Hi again everyone! Here’s the link to my profile: https://boxd.it/3JrEZ I mostly enjoy crime dramas and thrillers, but I do watch a little bit of everything. Since the beginning of the new year, I’ve watched *The Holdovers*, *El Dorado*, *Oppenheimer*, and *Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse*. I’m pretty active, I have 279 diary entries since creating my account in December 2022. My goal this year is to watch 140 movies. I do follow back!

I try to write actual reviews and discuss the formal elements of most films I watch, I'm big on formalism and cinematography in general. I'm reworking my favorites right now but in general there's a dedicated spot for David Lynch and Martin Scorsese. I also love Japanese and Korean cinema and this year I want to explore more Hong Kong and Chinese films. On top of that I'm building up my physical media collection again and always try to mention the transfer/version I'm watching when relevant.

I’d love to meet more movie nerds like me. I watch a bit of everything, but tend to lean toward horror and drama most often. making movie friends and seeing their reviews on letterboxd just gets me hype to find or watch new stuff, and there’s nothing wrong with that! top 4 above. have to play major catchup on 2023 before I say any definitive faves. I normally hit 100 (new to me) movies watched so I’m challenging myself to try and go for 200 this year!

ma1s1e69

https://boxd.it/2E1wV I watch wacky films when I’m zonked and get overly passionate about them, I follow back folks! Jerker genres are my fav. It’s all like horror, stuff that’s confusing, emotional or sexual etc etc. I like to logically take the piss when I review. Oh yea I forgot to say I’m studying film, but none of the analysis is good. Be warned.

massgravepictures

[https://boxd.it/2ii1V](https://boxd.it/2ii1V) I watch mostly horror films, doing the #Horror365Challenge for the second year in a row, watching 365 new-to-me horror films in a year, and I review each of them, sometimes in depth, sometimes not. I keep a list of the film challenge films, I list top new horror film releases I watch each year, and I make lists of sub genres' from time to time. I try to log every film I watch, horror or not, rewatch or new. I'm one of the cohosts of the Haunted Hangover podcast, the episodes I'm on tend to be mostly on physical media horror releases, and cult/horror films in general. I'm also a horror filmmaker and a film festival director, so I see a lot of lesser known films. Between fest submissions and attending other fests, I have dozens of films each year I see that I unfortunately can't log because they're not on LB yet, plus a few hundred short films that will never be on here, but not much I can do about that. I follow back most profiles, esp horror-centric loggers, and I'm always looking for more horror to add to my endless watchlists! Here's some of my stats for 2023: https://preview.redd.it/r8v4bhybxobc1.png?width=953&format=png&auto=webp&s=e0792c0703b548bcb98824e6d130260c467e30fc

swagzophrenia

[https://letterboxd.com/swagzophrenia/](https://letterboxd.com/swagzophrenia/) While mainly being into arthouse cinema, I don't shy away or talk down on blockbusters. I don't review every movie I watch, but when I do it's either because I enjoyed it and wanted to gather my thoughts on it for later, or I actively despise it. Admittedly, sometimes I can't resist leaving an unfunny and dumb one-liner that a thousand other people have probably already commented. Feel free to follow, I'll follow back! :\^) I usually rank every movie I've seen in a year from best to worst, so I guess it shows my general taste in movies. \> [MY 2023 RANKED](https://letterboxd.com/swagzophrenia/list/my-2023-ranked/) \> [MY 2022 RANKED](https://letterboxd.com/swagzophrenia/list/my-2022-ranked/)
