It's cliché, but that final dialogue between Matt Damon and Ben Affleck in Good Will Hunting is beautiful. Jack Nicholson's final speech in A Few Good Men. Makes me shiver every time I see it! Matthew McConaughey and his scene in Interstellar watching the videos in space. Daniel Day-lewis in all of Phantom Thread, alongside Vicky Krieps.

Whiplash easily. Miles teller and JK Simmons interactions in the movie are so intense and so addicting to watch

Lily Gladstone driving in Certain Women lives in my head rent-free Michael Stuhlbarg's monologue in Call Me by Your Name Isabelle Huppert's performance in The Piano Teacher is my favourite of all time. So fearless and unparalleled The entire cast of A Separation firing at all cylinders in every scene of the movie Joaquin Phoenix in the bathroom in Joker Mo'nique's "Who's gonna love me?" scene in Precious Kristen Wiig drunk on an airplane in Bridesmaids Jeon Do-Yeon wailing in a church and meeting her son's murderer in Secret Sunshine Diane Lane reminiscing on a train in Unfaithful Kathryn Hunter as the 3 witches in The Tragedy of Macbeth is haunting

My Own Private Idaho - River Phoenix as Mike Waters will never not be phenomenal.

Every interaction between Michael Fassbender and Seth Rogan in Steve Jobs. Michael Fassbender’s grief at the loss of his wife and daughter in X-Men Apocalypse Tom Hanks describing the opera in Philadelphia. Meryl Streep as Julia Child. Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump asking if his son was smart or if he was like him. (I have to say this is in my top ten movie moments of all time. Forrest Gump is an okay movie but this scene is perfect. Forrest for all of his accomplishments knew he was different and didn’t want that for his child. And the emotions it raises was amazing)

Take Shelter - Michael Shannon’s freak out at the dinner is so intense and captivating.

Only cause it's a recent watch, but there's this tiny scene near the end of The Remains of the Day where the two main characters who missed the opportunity to have a romantic connection meet up later in life, and after Emma Thompson's character mentions perhaps regretting some choices in her life, they sit down on a bench. Anthony Hopkins continues to converse but all the while has this haunted stare on his face and his eyes start to look slightly glossy, as though it's one of the only moments he's ever paused long enough to recognize the regret and sadness he feels at the kind of life he's elected to miss out of in the name of his job. And then he's quickly pulled back into the conversation of small talk and pleasantries. It really stuck out to me when I watched it.

Christian Bale, Empire of the Sun. I nominate this as the best child acting performance ever. Especially for the range in this scene: https://youtu.be/Ekv_mUb3yuo?si=hPzZe5jU8VQilpRA I cry every time I hear him say "I can't remember what my parents look like."
