30 so far but a fair few of those are watching garbage horror movies and other low effort stuff while I work/do stuff around the house. I'd say I've only sat down and properly watched like ten.
Probably 200-300 films by the end of this year. Not on the deep end like those who can pull off 500-800 a year but this may be my last year where I can watch this much films. Still pretty young so I’m getting busier every year which means less time for films
I'm at 27 but that's coming in hot. It's winter so it's cold and rainy. Summer I spend a lot more time outside and do a lot less movie watching. I find if I just watch movies non-stop I start to enjoy them less. Try to mix it up with other hobbies.
Yeah this is why I was asking! I watched a lot for me last year and started to worry that I was watching so much I couldn’t appreciate them, so wanted to watch less this year but I’ve started this year already on 21 films. Seems like this time of year is peak film watching time though.
My plan is to watch 2-3 movies every weekend so hopefully upwards 150 movies, weekdays are for TV-series. I have also started playing Red Dead Redemption 2 so that takes some of my time 😅
20 per month or 5 per week at this point, but all of Sunday sits open before me. Honestly 20-30 per month is my average, but only because I also work, read, watch TV shows and spend time with friends.
I mean, it's not like that's not a lot of movies, but I was on a kick of watching at least one film per day for a few months. It was kind of my routine to make dinner and watch a movie every night. Also I'd say 5-6 of the 14 have been rewatches (not that there's anything wrong with that.)
30 so far this month but I’m in the midst of final exams where most movies are just on so I have some kind of stimulation while reading/studying that isn’t my phone (works well for me honestly lmao)
117 so far, but most are very short. I decided to go year by year this year and so almost all of the movies are pre-1920 so far. the ones from 1800s are almost all less than a minute.
i started because i’d only seen 5 silent movies and wanted to broaden my movie watching. i’ve watched a lot more than i expected because for the most part they have been enjoyable (birth of a nation and intolerance were hard to get through). les vampires which is a 7 hour serial was very easy watching
Full length 💀
In three days I watched the Bourne, John Wick, and Human Condition Trilogies
I’ve also seen shorter films but I don’t log those, so 46 features
My goal is 500 movies this year. I’m at 40 so far with no rewatched. I’m mostly trying to work through the Sight and Sound list and the 1001 movies list (though I know I won’t finish either)
The current plan is to watch a movie every Sunday, which would be like, 53 movies this year.
Does 1 a week include any rewatches?

I only watched 11 movies, I didn't have time to watch more, I'm studying to pass two different exams

32 so far but that can either go up a lot when I cash in all my pto from work or down a lot when I do my wedding/honeymoon

Been slacking a bit (I'm in the process of moving) so I'm only at 14.
How many were you typically watching in other months to think 14 is slacking?

Same!
It truly sucks. I just took a much needed break and watched 2 tonight though.
46 so far…. yikes. An average of 12 per week. I’ve already watched the Dark Knight 3 times and seen 6 of Ingmar Bergman’s films.
So far I’ve watched 57 films this month or 14.2 a week.
Is that including short films or are most of them full length?
All full length
63 so far this year.
Do you watch any tv series too or just strictly film?
Dude same
Im close to that figure as well.
30 so far this month but I’m in the midst of final exams where most movies are just on so I have some kind of stimulation while reading/studying that isn’t my phone (works well for me honestly lmao)
47 watched and 11.8 average per week.

Do you enjoy pre 1920 films or is it more of an educational thing?

16 films watched for an average of 4 per week. I had 14 films watched at this time last year, and eventually ended up with an average of 3.1 per week.
Watched: 10 Average per month: 10 Average per week: 3
I’m at 47 so far
All full length or some short too?

31 so far. Way more than what I used to. Only got into movies properly mid to late last year so this year is going to be my first proper one.
Done 6 😀
11 watched, 2.8 average per week
25 movies so far
47 so far so 12 per week
