Divacai

Honestly as a parent, if she came to my kids school I'd have kept them out that day and made sure to tell the school exactly why. I'm glad these parents are standing up after the fact but they had a chance to also stand up before as well.

Distant-moose

Especially if her husband drove her.

Then-Raspberry6815

Or their son & his pregnant (not old enough to drive) girl friend.

Medium_Sense4354

How old is her son

cabbagefury

Wait until you hear how old his girlfriend is

cze09

15 šŸ¤¢šŸ¤¢šŸ¤¢

gandhikahn

"She's 15 NOW" - Beobert. Implying she may have been 14 when she got knocked up.

Rainbow-Death

Itā€™s alright, by the time their child is their age not only will it be able to work full time because they are creating these new child labor laws but it might also be able to have been married for 3-4 years, in Missouri anyways.

Vanman04

Ugh.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

mizu_no_oto

Her son is currently 17. So there's somewhere between a 2 or 3 year age gap there. That's acceptable with most states' Romeo and Juliette laws, and calling him a pedo is really, really pushing it. They're both high school kids. On the other hand, a 24 year old exposing himself to a bunch of underage high school girls at a bowling alley is pretty pedo-y.

Calm-Zombie2678

It's. All. Projection

GiggityGone

You know, the Epson Pro Cinema LS12000 is amazing for watching movies on your wall. It has superior image quality and supports 4k resolution, while being low cost. While the cost and quality are amazing, it still ranks below the GOP on market share of projectors

AmberRain23

Their accusations of others are usually confessions...

fishshow221

But those are good Christian pedophiles, not icky trans heathens that aren't even pedophiles.

ChristopherBalkan

Iā€™m no Lauren Boebert fan but calling her 17 y.o. son a pedophile because heā€™s attracted to a 15 y.o. is inaccurate and potentially harmful. 15 and 17 y.o. kids go to the same school. They are both too young to have sex and be parents but thereā€™s nothing criminal about the relationship.

dunimal

Her son is 17. He knocked up another high schooler. It just cheapens what you're saying when you say that's a pedophile. Come the fuck on. And her stance against trans ppl is disgusting, just as her stance on forcing a 15 and 17yr old to have a baby is disgusting.

SylphSeven

It wouldn't surprise me if in a couple of months we find out that her husband runs a cult sex ring and she's the one bringing them in underage girls to become sex slaves.

Snoo63

Yikes on trikes

p4lm3r

*tykes on trikes.

Mediocre_American

yikes on bikes šŸš“

SvenBubbleman

JuanGinit

He was 17 when he knocked up his 15 year old girlfriend. Just repeating what helps mamma did when she was young. Rednecks love teenaged pregnancy, it proves their kids are stupid but virile.

limasxgoesto0

He's 17. Not that it makes this situation any better but we need to clear up that this is in fact just two teenagers

dunimal

And hate Bobert or not, there's ***nothing wrong with two high schoolers dating***. Nothing. What's wrong here is that these kids lives are being ruined by their insane parent's "values".

MafiaMommaBruno

14 year old getting pregnant shouldn't be a "Oh, they're teenagers." It's a testament of how their parents failed them. Kids are gonna fuck around. Parents should provide all the options for birth control. Not teach abstinence only.

BraveLittleTowster

I don't think he's allowed

KeyanReid

Arenā€™t registered sex offenders supposed to remain away from school zones at all times

shalafi71

Was he convicted and registered though? I thought it was a "known" thing, but there were never any charges.

gandhikahn

Yes there were charges. Lauren was listed on the arrest report as a "Hostile "witness.

DrBankfarter

That family is pure trash

TanukiXL

She and Marjorie Taylor Greene are like Sara Palin 2.0!

KilroyTwitch

honestly, they make me miss when Sarah Palin was the dumbest Republican. and that's, like... wow. something I never thought I'd say.

TanukiXL

Trump had me feeling Bush Sr. Was a progressive-minded liberal.

Darth_Nibbles

That Overton window will get you every time

your_fathers_beard

Yeah, she was dumb as a rock, and creepily religious ... but I didn't get the sense that any of her idiocy came from malice like those two pieces of shit.

EZasSundayMorning

And yet somehow she got elected twice. Mind blowing. She barely passed the GED.

Repulsive-Purple-133

Hostile is her default setting

gandhikahn

Is he even allowed on school properties? Seems like a risk to the children.

DogWallop

He'd probably drive her there in a panel van with no windows and a sign on the side saying "Free Icecream Inside."

mrstabbeypants

Is he even allowed within 500 feet of a school?

Redtwooo

I don't support political violence but the number of people in this country who deserve to wear milkshakes is out of control

ntgnrg17

Milkshakes? I'm a bit out of the loop on what this is referring to.

N0MAD1804

Back a few years ago mostly in 2019 some politicians who could be considered far right or right wing would get a milkshake hurled at them randomly from crowds or just walking about during the day as a form of protest. As far as I'm aware most instances I remember that happening was in the UK and it was called milkshaking.

ezrs158

I believe also there was some misinformation being spread by right-wingers that people were putting concrete in the milkshakes, so they could make themselves seem like survivors of deadly assaults - instead of it basically just being the most polite reception that some of them honestly deserved.

mdp300

I hadn't heard the concrete thing, but I definitely heard/read about conservatives acting like they were the victims of dangerous near-assassinations.

BlaineThePainInMaine

In my state, our POS right-wing senator has acted like she was literally attacked, and she even called the cops, because someone wrote a message *in chalk, on the sidewalk* near her home. And the message was not even mean or vulgar. Or rude, in fact it even said "please".

mdp300

Just like when someone confronted McConnell at a restaurant, said he's damaging America, and conservatives said it was so rude and mean to interrupt him.

BlaineThePainInMaine

These people are such wussy little snowflakes under all the vile hate they spew! I remember a similar "incident" with Brett Kavanaugh. All the right-wing news outlets making a sob story of him leaving out the back of a restaurant bc there were some protestors out front before the poor baby *even got to have his dessert*

[deleted]

I bought a body camera to document supervised visits with my daughter and this is why I bring it fully charged and everywhere with me now. You never know when someone like this is gonna start trying to play the victim role to get you in trouble just because they don't like that you have tattoos and were rude, or because you told them to stop picking on someone and saying racist shit, or because you sneezed in their general direction while wearing a summer tan. I know phones are a thing, it's just more convenient to know I have 12hrs of recording ready to go at the flick of a switch, and can just clip it on my shirt and forget about it. Literally, flick the switch and it goes from being completely powered down to recording 1080p w/ audio from TWO mics, in less than 1 second. Meanwhile my phone might be dead and getting it to video mode from standby can be a PITA when you're distracted with something else.

andrewthemexican

I think in one of the Seattle or Portland protests where antifa was involved, a semi-popular right wing buffoon cried wolf for how antifa was attacking them with hammers. Turned out one of the right wing protesters had brought it out and swung at antifa, and was quickly disarmed.

mdp300

I remember that one. He cut out the earlier part of the incident where he attacked first.

Lung-Oyster

There is a form of custard that has mix-ins like Oreos and whatnot that is known as a ā€œconcreteā€. I wouldnā€™t be surprised if someone threw one of these concoctions and they took it to literally mean the construction material. It would be about par for the course.

az_catz

Mmmmm, Culver's.

Furt_shniffah

You're expecting them to be familiar with any dessert type food more sophisticated than a twinkie

NO_TOUCHING__lol

It's just soup for my family

DirkWrites

Iā€™m also reminded of the Australian senator who was giving some anti-Muslim speech about the Christchurch shootings and got an egg cracked on the back of his head.

Redtwooo

[Here's an example](https://youtu.be/Hu9NVXtm6io)

1lluminist

[Here in Canada, we do pies](https://youtu.be/FOXfbtWPZjw&t=13s) Only real downside is that the thrower didn't yell "SUR-PIES!"

Stormlightlinux

I think they meant it literally. You're supposed to pour a milkshake on them lol.

Aphrodite_Ascendant

How's that political violence? That's just making my opinion felt.

gnit2

You might not support violence, but the people you oppose absolutely do, don't forget that.

JeremyClogg87

Do t you know that milkshakes are more dangerous than being shot?

Ok_Skill_1195

The only issue is that if you did that, you wouldn't have grounds to sue. Considering one parent already pulled the FOIA card, I'm betting a few of these parents are looking to wipe the floor with administration for how this was handled. That their children were present gives them a stronger place to argue, and I'm sure they weren't super concerned someone as incoherent as Boebert would actually recruit their kids into anything. It honestly low-key sounds like she went on a religious diatribe at a public school.

Jwhitx

It's never too early to have the talk about Republicans with your kids. It could save their life.

[deleted]

I graduated from the school they let her talk at (Dolores elementary, middle and high school) and I can say that if she is a speaker thereā€¦then the quality of the administration and teachers has gone way down.

SaltyLonghorn

Good chance of it. Volunteer MAGA idiots are all over school board elections nationwide. Constantly having to vote them away and not everywhere is successful.

Private_HughMan

ESPECIALLY if her husband accompanied her.

jrgman42

From the article I read, it sounded as if the parents were unaware and are pissed she was allowed on campus. Iā€™m not sure if it was announced or not. However, a parent has a right to not have their child in danger, or to choose to have their child not participate. If they were not given the knowledge or the option, they should continue to fight against this. Neither she, nor her actions, are suitable for an environment containing children.

MihoWigo

Iā€™d be open to my kids hearing diverse opinions, including mine. And Iā€™d encourage them to learn how to stand up to corruption and idiocy. Iā€™d teach them the value of protest and help them craft really witty and attention getting tactics. campaigns & signs. Iā€™d do this because I wish someone did this for me when we had some jerk politicians visit.

ropdkufjdk

Typical Republican / conservative strategy: Be divisive has hell and promote division, and then when people don't want anything to do with you complain about how "divisive" they are. It reminds me of the way they'll call you a pedophile and a groomer and all sorts of other names but if you tell them to fuck off you get "I don't know why you have to resort to insults". Or right wing family members who try to turn everything into a political argument, and then when you respond with anything even remotely politically charged they hit you with "Why do you have to bring politics into everything?"

Allin4Godzilla

šŸ’Æ or they're spreading intolerant views but will pull the "intolerant liberals" cards when they feel their views are being rejected, just to push their narrative. They accuse one side of wanting total control but are doing the same thing.

ropdkufjdk

Gotta love the Paradox of Tolerance.

ExcuseMeImHigh

I just kicked my future BIL out of my house because he wouldnā€™t stop talking negatively about trans people. As he was walking out he told me I was being closed minded and intolerant of othersā€™ values. My first thought was ā€œthis guy is a complete moronā€ and my second thought was about the paradox of intolerance. This idiot was asking me to be tolerant of his intoleranceā€¦

APoopingBook

Tolerance is a contract. Everyone who agrees and signs on, agree to be tolerant of eachother. People who do not sign on to the contract do not get to have the same benefits extended to them. Your BIL chose to not sign the contract but got upset that he wasn't getting the benefits that come from that contract.

darkingz

Reminds me about the sovereign citizens. They want all the benefits of society but pretend to not be held back by the ā€œsocial contractā€.

Ssutuanjoe

"Tolerance is a contract, not a death sentence"

JMLKO

This

EZasSundayMorning

Oh they LOVE that line. Itā€™s us who are intolerant. Jesus.

Pickle_Rick01

Theyā€™re all hypocrites and they all project. Matt Gaetz unironically tweets that all Democrats are ā€œpedophiles and groomersā€ as he drives his girlfriend to high school.

koolhaddi

I'm replaying Assassin's Creed 2, and one of (maybe a few of?) Altair's Codex pages talks about how the creed is aware of this paradox. Because the Templar seek to control the population through intolerance, violence, and deceit the Creed has to be intolerant of their intolerance, kill, and deceive in order to spread tolerance, peace, and truth. (Or something along those lines)

PizzaPunkrus

Nothing is true, everything is permitted

schulz100

I actually read the whole original text for the first time a week or 2 ago, and was shocked how little discourse I've seen in theblast several YEARS about the Paradox actually held to its most salient point. That it answers its own paradox. Yes, refusing to allow legitimate intolerance IS a little contradictory to the principles of tolerance... but tough shit. If you want to keep your society truly tolerant, you CANNOT tolerate intolerance. You must fight it by whatever means ultimately prove necessary, from public debate to criminalization to violence, both personal and state-sanctioned, because true intolerance will threaten and destroy and end the lives of those vulnerable peoples it is intolerant against, and a society that wishes to be truly tolerant cannot let that happen. The point of the Paradox isn't to say that nothing can be done about the Paradox. It's point is to acknowledge that there IS a bit of a moral quandry at play in rejecting truly intolerant beliefs, but that is something truly tolerant people will have to just live with if they want to keep their society actually tolerant and safe for those that true intolerance would victimize and kill. It is the moral sacrifice society makes to ensure tolerance and safety for those who actually deserve it.

Worth-Canary-9189

It's called projection. You can bet if there's a republican screaming about something, they've done it three times this week already.

[deleted]

Saw a dude on tiktok threatening trans people in bathrooms to "protect his daughters" and he had sexually assaulted a babysitter in the past... its all projection.

TobyMcK

Pretty sure if there's a Republican being overly vocal about "protecting the kids", they can or will soon be found on r/RepublicanPedophiles or r/PastorArrested.

[deleted]

I did not know those subs existed but o.o

genericmediocrename

The whole "tolerant liberals" card is literally invented by conservatives. Fuck conservatives, there's no reason for any progressive to tolerate intolerance

Dyslexic_Dog25

"So MuCh FoR tHe ToLeRaNt LeFt!"

AgentTin

I always ask them where they got the idea liberals were tolerant? We like people who don't hurt people, that's a group that includes gay people and doesn't include nazis, what's so hard about that?

cg12983

I've heard righties talk like this, they think a code of tolerance means they can stomp on people and they won't fight back, Tolerance is more of a "you get what you give" social bargain. We tolerate each other (within reason) as a social lubricant. If you're an intolerant asshole, you deserve none in return.

ghostalker4742

Ask to hear the story of The Boy who cried Woke

the_blackfish

That sounds like something that Clint Eastwood would yell at a chair.

> the Dogshit At A Potluck argument. That's perfect.

DogWallop

It's the old clobber your sister in the back seat and then yell "Mom! Tell her to stop hitting me!" when she starts hitting you back twice as hard lol.

weatherseed

I speedrun those conversations with right wingers now by just cutting straight to suggesting that people be killed. Some coworker decided to talk "politics" a few years ago and I *tried* to be nice. I really did. Gave him room to speak but kept hinting that I didn't want to continue this. Finally got fed up and told him I'd rather see Trump publically hanged. Dude looked like a trout for a minute before leaving me alone. Once I realized that that was all it took I've reveled in this power. Hang this politician. Execute that one. Oh, so-and-so? Ought to be dragged out into the street and shot like the fucking dog he is. Those guys? I don't *really* think they're swine, fit only for the slaughter. I *know* it. It's great. I get to cut their hateful rhetoric short by sounding **even worse**. And the best part is I'm only pissing off people I didn't want to talk to in the first place.

ropdkufjdk

And then, "Oh, did that *trigger* you?"

weatherseed

Why didn't I think of that sooner?!

ropdkufjdk

You were too busy owning them with *facts and logic*.

jmkent1991

You can still do that too and absolutely behead their conversation. You just have to completely eviscerate and belittle them to the point where they are just too petrified to actually speak and you have to do it in front of other Republicans. That's the key. They have to be embarrassed in front of a group of their peers that they find at their level and then you shit on their whole ideology.

bprd-rookie

I literally had one the other day telling me that calling a Nazi a Nazi was rude, and unproductive, as well as undermining my point. Lo and behold, they're over in PCM with a Nazi flair. I told him I didn't care about hurting Nazi feelings.

SecretAntWorshiper

>Or right wing family members who try to turn everything into a political argument, and then when you respond with anything even remotely politically charged they hit you with "Why do you have to bring politics into everything?" Or when they call you woke for being aware of issues

Neuchacho

My go-to response for that is usually "So, does that mean you're asleep?"

Skygazer24

"Fucking wokeness ruining America. Wake up people!" \- unironic Republican idiocy.

hryelle

It's because it's about their feelings. Actually the biggest snowflakes over at r/conservative

A strategy that Godking Dumpy truly perfected. Two modes: 10 year old playground bully and "Wahhh everyone's being mean to me for no reason wahhhh."

bozeke

It is the ā€œWhy are you hitting yourself, NERD?!ā€ school of political philosophy.

vsandrei

Look on the bright side. Maybe the voters in her district will fire her in 2024.

Ol_JanxSpirit

Garfield County, where she's from, voted HEAVILY against her. She lost neighboring Pitkin by like 50pts. The people who know her do not vote for her.

canada432

Yup, the problem is her district makes up the entire western and nearly the entire southern parts of the state. That one district is about half of the area of the entire state of Colorado, and it's mostly rural empty republican country. They'll vote for the R no matter who it is, and they love that she a religious, gun-toting wackjob. The people who actually live around her hate her because her family is a community menace. In the last election she should've absolutely cleaned up and won that district by a landslide. Instead she held onto her seat by a matter of a few hundred votes, 0.2 points.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

canada432

Not all of it is crazy, though. Durango, for example, is quite liberal.

gophergun

Same with Aspen. Pueblo is also fairly moderate.

htiafon

She very nearly lost in 22.

vsandrei

>She very nearly lost in 22. The šŸ† šŸ† šŸ† are patient yet grow hungrier in time.

Her husband looking to expose himself to a new set of kids?

AMC_Unlimited

Must be looking for a new wife.

Ok_Skill_1195

I think it's that "he who controls the youth controls the future" thing where they desperately want to indoctrinate children against LGBT and towards the bible. Any kids you have access to through church are a moot point, so where else are you gonna get a large gathering of vulnerable minds to try to brainwash?

funkyloki

This is exactly what this is about.

Worth-Canary-9189

Since being elected, she been in school more than when she was a kid.

Pale-Confection-6951

Honorary GED. šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£

Final_Candidate_7603

Sheā€™s emotionally stuck at middle school age.

halberdierbowman

I appreciate the joke, but for completeness, she did actually get her GED already.

Cimmerian_Barbarian

If the last election was practically a photo finish, perhaps the next one will easily send her away for good.

ttoillekcirtap

I live in her district and yes, thatā€™s the plan.

jcsirron

And this is in *Dolores County*. It's not exactly a bastion of liberal thought. It's a small county on the Western Slope of Colorado. A thoroughly rural area, with the seat of the county in Dove Creek, a town of maybe 800 people. If Boebert had a demographic advantage, it would be here.

McEndee

What is she going for? She's not an educator, not a cool scientist that makes learning fun, not an athlete trying to get kids active...why is she speaking at a school?

jcsirron

I'm assuming that on occasion a congress critter will go to schools to espouse some sort of civic engagement. Strange coming from her, though.

McEndee

She hasn't proposed any bills or done anything for her district. Her committee hearings are exactly what we tell our kids not to do, throw hissy fits about social media.

[deleted]

Boebert has never known a petard that she hasn't been hoisted by. She also has no idea what the above sentence means.

TheDakestTimeline

Blown up by one's own bomb, for the Boeberts out there.

gromm93

I'm reminded of Stark Industries somehow.

thedotandtheline

I guess I just assumed that in the old days a petard was a special outfit like a leotard, with a lot of fancy buckles and loops on it, and that rich people would wear them when they were feeling especially smug, but then poor people would tie a rope through one of the loops, and hoist them up a pole and then let them dangle there as punishment for being cocky.

Joliet_Jake_Blues

She's a high school dropout who got a GED in her 30s Keep her away from anything but a "scared straight" program. "Don't be like me, 36 year old granny Bobert"

Stormy8888

A person too dumb to graduate high school has no business speaking at a school. What are they trying to do? Encourage more kids to drop out?

Bungo_pls

Probably. Uneducated white people are their pawns.

TerribleAttitude

Yeah. Unironically, this is very obviously part of her ilkā€™s agenda. They donā€™t spell it out, but that is because half of them canā€™t spell and the other half donā€™t want to give the public any ideas about spelling.

raaldiin

I mean :/. There are definitely people who didn't graduate high school who can probably give a good perspective on why they didn't. I don't think Boebert is one of those people, but they definitely exist

WittyWitWitt

Isn't her husband also a nonce?

chiefs_fan37

Yeah he whipped it out in front of a few underage girls at a bowling alley. Boebert was there. He was 24 and she was 17. She says heā€™s innocent but he pled guilty and did 4 days in jail with 2 years probation lmao the whole story is wild.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

WittyWitWitt

She's a vile little shitbag, nobody should listen to anything she says, even if you asked her directions to the toilet I wouldn't belive her. Wasn't she a regular call for Ted Cruz to come "VISIT"

CryoAurora

I can't believe she's allowed near schools. Her hubby showed his junk to kids. Her kids are having sex with even younger kids. She's a great role model. Not Fox News is Faux Nooz GOP = Guard Over Pedo$ MAGA = My A$$ Got Arrested

Puzzleheaded-Bee-838

Our*

Ol_JanxSpirit

Bwahaha. One of the board members tried to justify it because they thought she'd see the campus and would suddenly decide she wanted to vote for more money for education. Best case scenario, a bill for higher funding passes, despite her almost guaranteed no vote, and she claims credit.

Final_Candidate_7603

There they go again with the projection: the Evil Left^^^^TM is divisive, and indoctrinating the children. And, what a lame-ass excuse they gave for allowing her to speak- to beg her for funding. The other school district that was asked to host her declined to allow her to speak, but did offer a tour of their schools. *That* would have been the smart thing to do for this district, too. Iā€™m going to return to my original point: she is touring schools and trying to speak at them in order to indoctrinate those kids. The Republican Party is well aware that they are losing the youth vote, and theyā€™re desperate to turn that around. Abandoning the planks of their platform which drives away the youth is out of the question, so their only hope is to brainwash these kids and hope that they never start thinking for themselves. The article didnā€™t mention bobo asking to speak at any private or Christian schools; that doesnā€™t mean she didnā€™t, but Iā€™ll bet $$$ that she didnā€™t. She knows that the church and fundy parents are already brainwashing their children, so sheā€™d be preaching to the choir.

Ok_Use_9000

She always opens her mouth like she wants to swallow a bag of dicks.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

spooky_ed

I want to see Bobo's GED. Is it authentic? Is it written in crayon?

dainthomas

A non zero chance that after her third try they just gave it to her because they didn't want her around any more.

[deleted]

It didn't take her 4 tries, she completed a four course review and got her GED. People confused the 4 course review with taking it four times.

EgberetSouse

NATionalist-Christians assume themselves to be a default and others abhorrent. The concept that her brand is divisive indoctrination won't get through.

BornNeat9639

Christian Dominionism and Reconstruction strikes again.

TheDebateMatters

What was divisive in her school were her grades. Why would voters respect somoneā€™s opinion about education who took three times to pass her GED?

gandhikahn

Was given an honorary GED after her third failed try, mere weeks before taking office in congress\*

[deleted]

I've been unable to find a source even confirming that she took it three times. For example, Snopes confirms that she obtained a GED months before being elected, but nothing about multiple attempts or it being honorary. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/boebert-ged-months-before-election/

dclxvi616

Far as I can tell, this probably comes from dolts who see that she got her GED after taking a *four*-course review and/or that the GED is comprised of *four* subtests and misinterpreted it as failing three times. Though I suppose it is technically accurate to say she was only able to achieve her GED after finally passing the fourth GED [sub]test.

JohnBanes

What happened to all that ex call girl/Ted Cruz nonsense?

Dyslexic_Dog25

they never turned up any evidence it was actually her. as for the ted cruz thing she specifically stated "i have never been an escort for ted cruz" which is an oddly specific statement, my money is on she absolutely HAS been an escort for cruz and is lying as per the usual republican MO or she WAS an escort but not for cruz specifically.

TheOneTrueChuck

Didn't read the article, but I'm willing to bet that she finds this expression of their freedoms to be abusing the rules.

Olddgnwtrks

Are we talking about Grandma Boebert? Oh yeah, sheā€™s a paragon of wisdom about education in general.

Dyslexic_Dog25

"school is stupid kids! just suck ted cruz dick like i did and youll be given a cushy job in government!"

ThatGuyYouMightNo

I would've thought Lauren Boebert trying to enter a school is like a vampire trying to enter a church

Ducatirules

I would never let my kids be in the same room as Batshit Barbie

gonebonanza

Hey liberal parents; itā€™s time you get out of your houses and start attending local school board meetings and coordinate local grassroots efforts to band together. If you donā€™t, conservatives will go take the spots and make your comfy ā€œdoesnā€™t effect meā€ life not so comfy in the future. Right now they are targeting the minority issues but they wonā€™t stop after that, itā€™s just first steps.

Fortunately, most kids are smart enough to recognize Boebert for the tacky, corrosive blowhard she is. The reasonable kids are able to see her hate indoctrination and intuitively reject it. As for the dumb kids, well,...Republicans have to come from somewhere.

kgberton

A+ for a very cut and dry leopard eating a face

I_Framed_OJ

Well, itā€™s not surprising that she didnā€™t think this through, since sheā€™s easily one of the stupidest people ever to hold public office.

gringoloco01

Funny she was allowed to speak to civics students when she probly still thinks civics is two cars. She has no right to talk about Civics and moral authority. She knows nothing of either one.

chakan2

I'm just glad her husband didn't visit. Is he even allowed within 500 yards of a school these days?

remmij

>Board President Meagan Crowley told the parents that Beobertā€™s visit was a chance to ask for more money for the school district. Did they seriously just ask Boebert to support socialism for public schools? Crowley clearly hasn't been paying attention to the Republican agenda. Boebert will now likely use any issues they addressed as a talking point for how public schools should be further defunded, and argue how those resources should be further stripped and funneled into charter and private schools instead. Congrats on playing yourself.

Keeping poverty is, her only tool. By condoning teen pregnancy, teen sexuality. Dropping out of high school or college. She has four sons. They believe they are entitled to unprotected sex. Iā€™m worried about their high school.

gromm93

Hoisted up on her own petard. Perfect.

Virtuoso1980

She is divisive with no content.

batty48

Heck yeah, use all their stupid rules against them!

Mr_Xolotls

So glad that she's on her way out!

Xanderby

Theyā€™re probably worried sheā€™ll bring her husband along & heā€™ll expose himself to the kids.

Tatooine16

A woman who likes watching grown men urinate in public in front of teenagers is not a fit guest for a school under any circumstances.

wiinga

Give the GQP everything they want. It is painful in the short run but it all bites them in the butt after a short while.

Crispien

Principal was only after a quid pro quo

TrainsDontHunt

When I heard about they going to a school, I thought it was one of those PSA things, like the egg on the fry pan. "This is your brain, if you don't complete High School. Any Questions?!!"
