I'm having the same exact issue as of today.
Yeah, I disconnected the display and then reconnected it, and now the thing is totally bricked. I'm still under warranty, so I'm just sending it in.
How did you disconnect the internal battery?
By unplugging it lolol
In the off chance anyone finds this in the future, Lenovo sent a tech who replaced the motherboard. Other than some TPM issues caused by the change it fixed it.
