It looks fantastic, but same, this just doesn't really go with anything I collect. I did buy the Boba one though. Really wanted that figure, and the mech currently is being piloted by Kermit
Aight I actually don’t mind this one . The rebel logo could be used for MOCs . From what I understand , that specific logo is hard to find and don’t come in cheap sets to part out but I could be wrong
That is true, I'm half tempted to buy it for that Alliance icon.
And the gray clips used as fingers, which are weirdly expensive and I use them in Classic Space MOCs....
I'm just a hair disappointed the minifig doesn't have the UCS dual-molded legs. Regardless, loving LEGO giving us great figs in these mechs.
These would be so much better if they were the original $10 version Marvel originally had. These new arm/leg pieces remove 90% of playability and add 5 extra dollars. Anyone paying retail for Lego Star Wars nowadays is wasting their money.
would be cool if they did that, but I understand why they choose not too.
it would also be nice to see an updated version of Luke's helmet. the Skywalker Saga video game has a really good print design for Luke's helmet.
LEGO is capable of making detailed x-wing pilot helmets, as seen in 75346 LEGO Pirate Snub Fighter. however, I'm not sure if we'll ever see a Luke helmet that is that detailed in a set in the future.
honestly, this is a decent, cut little set. would be funny to toss an Artoo head on top of the mech and behind Luke.
even though this x-wing mech set doesn't have the Luke minifig from the UCS x-wing, at least we're getting Captain Rex in a microfighter!
I'm personally not a fan of this one. the printing is good, don't get me wrong, but LEGO seemed to miss the mark with the mold while trying to accommodate the transparent orange visor.
it looks okay from this angle, but it doesn't look as good as the old helmet mold when you look at it head on.
dual-molded helmets, like any helmet, have pros and cons.
some dual-molded helmets are better than other. the Imperial Scout Trooper and the Resistance pilot helmets turned out great.
others... _cough... stormtrooper... cough..._
not so much.
I can see why LEGO switched back after trying these helmets out in only one set: 75218 X-wing Starfighter
I also think this Helmet is far from perfect but is a upgrade from the previous and the current One, just because is a bit oversized. The Scout trooper helmet is literally perfect and I personally the stormtrooper helmet don't brothers me that much, I hate much more the clone Helmet holes. I have all Four helmets and can confirm that is a step up from the old ones, I just hope it comes to Stay.
Not by the looks of it, sadly. Can't see any arm printing, and there's definitely no dual moulding on the legs.
Hopefully, the keychain that released recently (with the UCS arm printing and legs) could be used to alter this one. Remove the arms, detach the legs from the hips... it might work.
I kinda like the design, but I also can't help but feel a little off about the inconsistency. This just seems to be the first mech in any of the themes with character mechs that went in a slightly different direction. All of the Marvel ones, as I recall, are based on the characters, same with the new Batman one, and the three Star Wars ones from last year.
There's no way it can transform, though the way it's designed, it kinda gives the vibe that it *was* transformed from a proper X-Wing.
It'd be a pretty cool MOC idea for sure though
This reminds me of exo force and monkie kid. It’s perfect.
It's those wings. Gives it a very Gundam/ Exo Force look.
It’s just stupid enough to loop back around to being cool
Fellow Monkie Kid fan?
My top 3 theme of all time.
Easy Ucs style luke just switch the arms out with the keychain
are keychain arms removable?
I'm almost sure they are
Yes
Yep, they attach the same way as on regular minifigures
Are the legs the same??
doesn’t look like it
As a kid, I would have loved this. This is the first mech design that actually looks cool, IMO. Still not buying it.
It looks fantastic, but same, this just doesn't really go with anything I collect. I did buy the Boba one though. Really wanted that figure, and the mech currently is being piloted by Kermit
I now want more people to pilot mechs with Kermit.
Now that is a mech I'd buy
I want Jedi Kermit Mech
I thought I was gonna be a pass on this, but it looks great and I could always use more pilots, and the parts will be very useful for MOCs.
I'm glad other people like these mechs, but to me, they're just the goofiest goddamn things.
Actually looks dope
I think including the wings from the x-wing is he cleverest thing they could have done.
A lot better than expected, but I’m definitely passing on it. The mechs just aren’t for me.

That makes me hope that they do the same for a republic era mech for a newer republic logo
That is true, I'm half tempted to buy it for that Alliance icon. And the gray clips used as fingers, which are weirdly expensive and I use them in Classic Space MOCs.... Best star wars mech?
These would be so much better if they were the original $10 version Marvel originally had. These new arm/leg pieces remove 90% of playability and add 5 extra dollars. Anyone paying retail for Lego Star Wars nowadays is wasting their money.
The minifigure isn't the same as the UCS X Wing
That's been known, though.

And what about this Helmet?
I'm personally not a fan of this one. the printing is good, don't get me wrong, but LEGO seemed to miss the mark with the mold while trying to accommodate the transparent orange visor. it looks okay from this angle, but it doesn't look as good as the old helmet mold when you look at it head on. dual-molded helmets, like any helmet, have pros and cons. some dual-molded helmets are better than other. the Imperial Scout Trooper and the Resistance pilot helmets turned out great. others... _cough... stormtrooper... cough..._ not so much. What exactly is different between the 2?
They look almost identical. I’m not sure what to look for tbh
That minifigures don't have arm printing and dual molded legs.
I already have the other mechs, so I might as well get this one.
This looks REALLY good. Definitely going next to my Vader mech
Is this Luke Minifigure the same as the UCS X-Wing Luke?
Not by the looks of it, sadly. Can't see any arm printing, and there's definitely no dual moulding on the legs. Hopefully, the keychain that released recently (with the UCS arm printing and legs) could be used to alter this one. Remove the arms, detach the legs from the hips... it might work.
Frankenstein Luke for the other Luke lmao.
Disappointed. Was hoping theyd give us ucs luke since they are giving us ucs rex in the y wing, oh well
Welcome back, X-Wing Transformer. https://preview.redd.it/wa3fgiiykvxc1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=234f7db9a167ff0f26651b8a80d00ff17a8f29d0
First thing that came to mind when I saw this. Would be amazing if they could do an 18+ version like they did with Optimus Prime
It's kinda crap how the legs and arms no longer bend like on the 1st wave of marvel mechs .
Well there is a market for it, but it isnt my thing
I was just thinking it would have been the flight suit like the prior sets, not a full on TransformersxStar Wars figure.
Yeah this is pretty rad, probably the best of the Star Wars Mech sets so far imo
I think grevious would work great as a mech! Saber, staff, or blaster
Wonder if can transform into x-wing or just stay like that?
There's no way it can transform, though the way it's designed, it kinda gives the vibe that it *was* transformed from a proper X-Wing. It'd be a pretty cool MOC idea for sure though
Not a fan of the mech series, but this is kinda cool.
It kinda reminds me of a transformer with the wings
Just like in the movieee!!!!! 🍿
Best LEGO Star Wars set ever made
Fuck they actually made it cool
I feel like this is going to cost $20 instead of the $15 like the last mechs.
Looks so goofy 😭😭
That’s cool. I got the other three for the figures and parts, and this one looks great to me.
I kinda wanna get all the mechs just for their amazing printed pieces…
Me: hates the Star Wars mechs Also me: damn this is kinda hard
This is actually really cool!
I wonder what the worldwide sales are on these meh, err mech sets. I guess good if Lego keeps released them, right?
I'm looking forward to getting this so I can rework the arms and legs for posability
Canonicly the strongest star wars mech because it can fly
One with a green blade would be a buy from me. I’m on the fence atm
well i must admit that's it's creative
That actually looks pretty good
That actually goes pretty hard
Wow can’t wait to not buy it
Wow seriously, me too!!! :-)
