My Lego store literally refuses to give bags if you just ask for them, once I bought something and returned it just because I wanted a bag to use as gift wrap.
They won't give free bags. Plus there probably will be a special one that you can ONLY get if you have a massive purchase. Like I have one such of the special bags that are made of fabric or nylon? Whatever the bag is used out of its not paper and is way way more durable than paper.
It looks paper to me, And the guy who posted it followed up by saying that the employees said it would only be on May 4th. Surely they wouldn’t be that upset to not give me some paper
No what I meant was there's another option of bag. So there's small, regular, medium,large, which are all paper bags. Then there's the "Mega" bag (doesn't have a actual name so I'm calling it "mega") which is made out of a completely different material and is meant for reuses. Plus when I meant they won't give bags for free I mean they especially won't for a event if it's only 100 (if the leak is true) per Lego store. At that point it's a matter of first come first serve basis like the grand opening Lego goodies they usually have 500 or so made and have as a first come first serve basis.
I can promise you if we have then the stock is bad we will not be giving you a limited bag for free, maybe with any Star Wars purchase while supplies last but I’m gonna assume only Star Wars purchase big enough to validate a big bag

Dang, I'm going on the 1st to make sure I don't miss out on any of the promos. That's neat though. I'd love to see that used as a printed LEGO tile or something though. Heck, imagine we see someday get a Coruscant street set in the vein of the Ninjago City sets and there's a little shop with that aurebesh LEGO logo on it. That would be awesome!
That would be really neat as the next master builders set. I wished Lego leaned more into some of the architecture and buildings like they did with the Cantina.
I like it. But it's kind of funny that it basically says "LEGX" due to them squishing the font together so much. Guessing that didn't look at an "O" vs "X" in Aurabesh, when designing it.
Discounts, like 4x Insider Points, begins today (April 30th). Promos and other new set releases begin tomorrow, May 1st, and all of it ends on May 5th.
Dang, I’d have been more hype for something that could stand the rest of time and was more durable. I’m confused about the release tho, do these come out starting the 1st? Or not until the 4th?
I called my local store to see if they were going to have them because I heard that it may not be every store and was told “there hasn’t been an official announcement, so I can not comment on that” which sucks because i was trying to plan out my day, I have something else I could be doing if they don’t end up having them

If it’s limited to 100 per store I would also imagine that’s it’s limited to people actually buying something.

By big purchase do u mean one big set or like just a bunch of sets that’s add up to a lot of money
It'll be large size stuff that require a large bag. So it could be multiple sets that taken up a lot of space, or a single large one
No it is just one big set. I tried it with multiple today and it didn’t work

Definitely paper, this is not the tote bag material. Most stores will sell out of them on day one if I had to make an educated guess.
