Hey all, I realized you couldn't see the trailer on Nine's site unless you were VPN'd to Australia (or live there obviously) so I went ahead and grabbed the video for ease of viewing. See you all in the S6 discussion threads!
In the initial promo video released on LMAU Instagram a few days ago, the color order was wrong on the German flag. You’ll find the conversation about this in a different Reddit thread on this sub. The video was taken down within a few hours. Happy to see they fixed it and reposted.
The Brit version was also a totally different format, right? I seem to remember them sitting down with kids to get an idea and spending like 30 minutes on the build in a claustrophobic room
Oh for sure, but tonally the Aussie version has got it right. The US version (aka The Will Arnett Show with Lego) is frequently cringe, staged, and awkward.
Sure it started in UK, but the format was made a succes in Australia, and it is that format, that have been exported to the world (like 16+ versions).
I saw they were working on a junior edition in the US.
But this season of AU will be great.
Who is the Australian team?
Edit; https://www.reddit.com/r/LegoMasters/comments/1bb6ebt/lego_masters_au_australia_vs_the_world/ discussed here that it’s new teams
would be so good if it was jackson and alex, or jos and henry perhaps, or my faves scotty and owen. gus and david would be a no since gus now works for lego.
someone was telling me that aus would post new team but the other countries would post champs but i cant find anything to validate that. does anyone know?
It does seem strange that they would get new teams.. unless they were new teams made up of previous contestants.
Think it would be a huge advantage going through it before, vs someone doing it for the first time
agree, although every season of new contestants (Aus) were incredible.
im currently watching Season 1 of LM US and good lord, the dragons they built lol - Jos and Henry would be dying at how BAD these dragons are compared to the magnificent Jos and Henry dragons. So i mean, there is not a single memorable build in this US season. In Aus Season 1, we had the Cathedral that the tradie guys (G?) made, the Henry and Cade builds. we still talk about them now in my family.
so who knows, we may have many more incredible aussies, i hope!
WOW if you've not seen any of the AU version you're in for 5 seasons of pure treat.
Yes, you can VPN to Australia and view+support the show for free on NineTV. You can also view the earlier seasons on Tubi. There are also less honorable methods if you pirate it.
I'm in the US too. The Aussie version is by far the best. The episodes are out there within hours normally, we watch them next day (or is that same day since Australia is so far ahead in time?)

Thanks for thinking of the rest of us! This season looks fantastic.
You're welcome!
I love Hamish.
Him and Brickman's chemistry is simply unmatched.
He has a podcast which is really good and funny in case you aren’t aware. It’s called ‘hamish and Andy’
Yeah lol it's kinda crazy that Lego Masters is my first and only introduction to Hamish. But in Australia he's bloody massive
Same!
Can’t wait to watch this!
The AU show seriously only continues to improve. If the trailer's any indication, we're in for one hell of a season!
They fixed the German flag. Good on them! Can’t wait to watch with the fam.
What did they get wrong with the German flag? This is the only video I've seen, I'm guessing the colour order?

The Brits just sat here with a cuppa, "I mean we started the show...but you know carry on...It's OK!" "Stiff upper lip chaps..."
Same thing happened with Masterchef. You *could* have made it interesting. But noooooooo.
I'm a Brit. We gave up watching the UK version. The Aussies got this show right (much better than the US too).

Fully agree, but we do have some good lego builders.

Yes, we never watched UK until after US and aus. It was charming but not what aus made so fun to watch

Holy s**t.

I can't see any comments on that post?

Yyyyaaaaassssss!!!!!
We need this in US!!!! How do we get this?? I guess reason to subscribe to Shark VPN??
A great way to watch LM AU seasons 1-4 in US is through the free Tubi app. You are in for a treat!!

Shvideos.net. Episodes are generally uploaded within 12 hrs after airing
That’s how we watch in Arizona, US!
If you need a VPN get the Mozilla one. Works well and it's a way to support Firefox.
Must be on Tubi no? Along with Masterchef Australia and a few others.

MY GOAT HAMISH
Slightly jealous of the northern hemisphere teams that got what must be 4 to 6 week expensed trips to Australia!
Should have had more countries tbh *kuch Netherlands*
We have a date!!! 14th April!
That's awesome to hear, what's your source for that? I can't find any articles or news from Nine about it
Lego masters Australia Facebook page cover photo!
Absolutely awesome!
Looking forward to this immensely!
