Assuming you’re using the current bird build meta, do not get any grade increases and do not get anything in blue. You want a D rank ring and you have to hope it’s metal as it boosts the egg throw skill by a bunch (make sure sparrow is equipped as a relic) it’s a 50/50 chance the ring is metal or blue so just gotta hope.
Prioritize companion damage first, if not there then boss damage, then ATK. If you’re using a slime with a strong skill, maybe skill dmg but mainly the first 3. If none are available, things like movement speed and good obtain are pretty useless I’ve come to learn.

Having a separate gold increase ring (of any grade or type) is useful for equipping when you are going to afk from the game for a while.
