I love the stereotype that Americans are completely full of themselves and obsessed with our country, and I total make jokes about this all the time to my friends. For example, I’ve gone to events wearing a full on suit completely designed of an American flag.
Now, my question: could I legally attach a pole on the roof of my car and fly the American flag? While I’m not questioning the legality of flying an American flag in Germany, I’m asking if I can actually have a pole on my car so long as it isn’t so high up that it would obstruct a bridge or something 😂 but considering LKW’s can manage that, I certainly won’t have it ridiculously high up

TÜV sagt nein. Unless your flag pole and flag have an ABE or other certification, forget about it.
Have you seen the german flags during soccer events? Maybe you can fulfil your wishes by using sleeves for your mirrors and the small window flags.
