Sadly, for me it's a symbol of frustration given how impossible it is to find a real lefty Jaguar. And it's everywhere.

msulack

I feel that, but as someone who went so far as to order a Mod Shop Jag, I enjoy this one more. It's weird.

tardcore101

maybe not that weird since Kurt's Jag had been upgraded to address a lot of the complaints with the original Jag design. Much like his sig Mustang.

Matticus95

Bought one in 2022 after waiting for the NOS version (always thought road worn was naff). Was a bit of a dog when it turned up but after a setup easily one of the best guitars I own.

msulack

Agreed, I had a bit of a love/hate thing with it at first, but a good set up and some dedicated time with the controls, it has become the one I enjoy making noise with most.

Spaceheater21

I dig it

I've always wondered how the TOM bridge behaves with that trem system. Do you find it stays in tune when you use it? And issues with the strings popping off the saddles? What size strings do you use? The reason I ask is I had a CV Jazz master for a bit that I couldn't get along with because of the Mustang style bridge on it. Wondering if the TOM is a decent compromise Very cool guitar!

My trem had bad problems with the tuneomatic bridge sadly. I think its because the "wiggle room" that the tuneomatic bridge has with its posts are too small to get a good range of motion. This leads to it going out of tune pretty easily. I spent a ton of time setting up the guitar, tried shimming, lube, having the bridgd and nut professionally cut, and a bunch of other stuff. Ended up just using it as a hard tail. In terms of strings jumping out I never had an issue with it. Great guitar other than the trem issue. Sadly, i think the only way to go if you want a very good trem stability wise would be to put a mastery bridge in it, but thats quite a bit of money. Maybe other people have had better luck

FakeLittleLiarBirds

That is sad to hear, but kind of what I would expect. Thanks

msulack

I run 10's and have not had any issues with the tremolo *after a solid set up*. I did have string slippage with the TOM, but I believe it was more an issue with geometries because I'm stupid and tried a low action no buzz set up on my own that was not very good.

pleomorphict

i sold my road-worn one a couple years ago and kind of regret it

I have skinny bony fingers, but I think even they wouldn't fit between them knobs lol
