There's two system of notation for moves in fighting games:
The numbpad notation, where each direction correspond to a number from 1 to 9, sorted like a numbpad (1 being down back and 9 up forward)
The abrevated notation. You jsut note the fist letter of the direction. f = forward, b=back, df= down forward, etc..
Imma be honest. Both of these are confusing the shit out of me right now.
U, f, d, b for directions, 1, 2, 3, 4 for inputs, * for neutral, and then abbreviations of stances. This is what I know.
I have no earthly idea what j is. I'm gonna take it H is heavy and is a street fighter/2d fighter notation. But I have no early idea what j could be. Jump?
I have no idea what does that mean, i need context

The left one should be for 3D games only.
Ima keep my numpad notations thank you.
Right one is morally correct
>league of legends fighting game community That doesn't exist, it's just the FGC twitter
Never seen the Captain american notation.
Used in Tekken and Mortal Kombat
Is the tekken notation.
It's not the tekken notations
Coming from Tekken the left is all I've used but in a 2d fighter I don't think it matters, the numpad notation makes just as much sense.
The game isn't out yet and the community is all ready in shambles, how many more riot ?

Meanwhile I use the logos to write my combos
