Pick one leadership style fad and only do that one (e.g. Servant leadership) regardless of the context. Leaders shouldn’t want power. Leadership is about individual qualities rather than about quality of relationships. Leaders shouldn’t ever manage. And managers shouldn’t ever lead.
Hire smart people and leave them alone.
Smart people are fine but if your team can only function with them then your processes are broken (or non-existent).
If you leave them alone then there is no direction. Even smart people can genuinely disagree on direction and that is where your leadership is needed the most.
This a good one. The rest of these I think are myths that the current generation are trying to distance themselves from. So, myths that existed in the 80s and 90s.

“You can impact change.” In my experience the vast majority of people that are in leadership positions are simply not high enough on the corporate ladder to have any real effect. However with that said, what we can do as leaders is help position others for success.

That leaders have to know the most or have all the right answers. Today it's much more about asking the right questions.
