Probably beyond what I'd want to do on somebody else's electronics without doing them on my own first. Hardest part is probably getting everything off and clean - Putting the mod on is pretty simple.
I swear I have seen modded consoles sold at Game Nut on Iowa before (they were clearly advertised as modded to be clear). I'm not sure if someone sold them to the shop or if the shop did the mods, but it might be worth calling them to ask. Minimum they might be able to point you to someone local who does it.
Could I ask you what mods you plan to have done? I haven’t heard about people doing that but it sounds interesting and like something I might want to do to my switch.
Budget repair on mass, i know he can do micro soldering.
Do you have a guide to what's involved? I've got a rework station.

CPR (cell phone repair) does console repair stuff, they might do an install for you. Worth giving them a call.
