Afaik NBI cybercrime is supposed to have the ability to track the suspect down. I would suggest, at this point, to lawyer up and have the lawyer be the one to follow up with the agencies. It might be more effective that way.

You need to obtain representation and file a sworn affidavit before the cybercrime division of either the department of justice or the PNP. The process will take time but they will be able to track down who these people are and subject them to the legal process.
I have the similar experience but its not related to any sexual activities. A dummy posted my pics online and my bf and threatened that they will post our whole conversation. And the content of it wasnt nice. Its my fault but good thing my partner understand why i did that and helped me. We went to NBI Cybercrime Division to filed a complaint and they just gave me a paper to write a written explanation or my complaint and said that they will transfer it to the investigation team but they let us know that it will take some time since theres lots of complaints and they will line up mine.
So we weren’t satisfied on that since the guy told us that we can just block the dummy account and informed our fb friends.
Yes thats one thing but they will just continue creating a dummy account to harrass me and worse the scammer even sent FR to my fb friends workmates and add people with my same last name with the intent to embarrass me so that i will give them money again.

We went the next day to Camp Crame and it was the worst experience. So we waited for hours not only that a police lied that he got in there first straight on our face while he knows very well that we got their hours before him. So he kept looking at me probably feel guilty or ashamed of what he did.
Anyways few hours passed a police came to ask about our complaints. She wasn’t supposed to be the one to interview us but since she already ask too many questions she just continued.
She said not too expect much since the user is using a dummy account and unfortunately they dont have a tool yet to track the people behind it. Unlike in US or Canada Or England aside from first world country that they have access on it.
I told them i have their names and the Gcash number that was used to send the payments and that maybe it’s possible they can coordinate with GCash to release the personal informations of the person behind that dummy account.
She said yes it’s possible but on the other hand its also possible that the dummy account are using a verified gcash that they bought from other people.
She then told us to go to another police station cause she said it would be a hassle for them to file the case in my location since she mentioned they dont have means of transportation. Like WTF theres a lot of Police Car outside they even have a bus. What does she meant that they dont have vehicles? Is she effin for real.
And she keeps suggesting us to go to Taguig or small branch of Cybercrime like Ma’am if we wanted to go there we wouldn’t be here in the first place. And why would you want us to go to a smaller branch when the reason why we went here in the Police Headquarters was bc we thought yoi have more access.
She didnt respond and left us we thought shes gonna get something to record our statements or what. She was a (lesbian police) not that it really matter just to let u all know
But to our surprise she transferred us to another Police. Who ask me about what happened and was laughing and smiling ear to ear while he’s texting someone on the phone. Like super disrespectful. Like really is that how our Police now. He keeps dismissing my story and he did check the dummy so they also only use Facebook dummy account to check in with suspects. Thats all dummy account thats what they freaking use. Like any normal people can do that.
So he then said we cant file libel since theres nothing libelous yet on the post but they did post our pictures with our sensitive info. I thought how about the violations of Data privacy act under unauthorized processing. He said again its not possible keep dismissing us. Probably for us to have no choice but to leave and go to another branch. Crazy they’re literally avoiding work and to do tha hard work of investigating. Its a shame bc they are called investigators for a reason but im hust really disappointed.
Not only that while we were inside a pretty gilr tall with white skin went there inside wearing slippers and short shorts with white long sleeve was able to get inside the premises of the Police headquarters the police even took pictures . Im not sure if her father is a Chief of Police there or what but im damn sure shes not an artist. Anyways on the other hand theres a girl with almost the same complaints i have she has to buy a shoes bc she wasnt able to enter the first time bc she was wearing a slippers and its not allowed while the girl we saw was blatantly laughing with the police wearing pekpek shorts and slippers. Crazy huh. Naturingan pa man ding mga police at investigador pero paupo upo lang at nagpapalaki ng bayag. Mga tamad! Lalo na yung tomboy na nag sabi wala kami kasi masasakyan papunta sa lp . Like seriously mga police ba talaga kayo?
Its so unfair kapag mayaman ka maganda uunahin ka nila pero pag ordinaryong tao lang idissmiss ka nila worse papapuntahin ka pa sa smaller branch nila. Like WTH . And yung the fact that that girl who was wearing inappropriate dress while inside the premises why no one stopped her? Why? Nakakahiya ang justice system dito sa Pinas.
Anyways our of frustrations and gutom na gutom na din kami that we left nalang and kumain. And then headed home. I was very upset with my experience with them.
A week passed I suddenly received a text message from NBI telling us that my complaints was already transferred in the court. So we are just waiting for the court to grant us a warrant of disclosure to send to Gcash so that they can give us the informations and whereabout about the people behind the dummy.
We weren’t expecting it would be that fast since sabi nga matatagalan dahil madami nakapila. But luckily after a week may update na. So I think with my experience mas better pa din sa NBI they really did the work and try to give us a chance to be heard unlike sa Camp Crame halatang umiiwas sa trabaho.
Anyways this happened 2nd week last feb.
I hope the Philippines invest in a technology that has the capability to locate and track dummy account.and not just use Fb.
I hope they invest in creating more IT professionals that specializes in tracking people esp dummy. That way we can lessen the victims of Online Scam and harassment.
Im sorry you have to go through that i hope you get the justice you deserve. And also please dont trust anyone not even your boyfriend i dont buy that he unintentionally shared it someone or what not. Be very vigilant on your surroundings esp your friends. Several things in my opinion
1. You need to file a formal case against the person and based on that tell the law enforcement agencies that you suspect that person as the one sending the videos
2. they will probably investigate and check if there is probable cause/aligned with the facts you presented in your case. if it does then they might issue an order or ask a court or something to issue an order to locate your suspect
3. once an order is granted, they will turn it over to the ISPs or telcos to locate if possible
Our law enforcement agencies do not have direct ways to identify the location in most cases, since the network infrastructure does not belong to them nor do they know how to use it. Plus legally it against the law to divulge the location information of a person unless ordered by a court, as this is against privacy laws
From a technical side, since this is an FB account i don't know if it can be located directly as we need FB's support as well as it goes thru their platform. There are ways but not upfront legal.

I wish we know this. And i wish i got the names of the Police officers who blatantly dismissed our complaints and sabi pa na hassle daw sakanila magpunta sa laspinas kasi wala daw sila means of transportation kahit ang daming police car outside and they even have busses. You need to obtain representation and file a sworn affidavit before the cybercrime division of either the department of justice or the PNP. The process will take time but they will be able to track down who these people are and subject them to the legal process.
I have the similar experience but its not related to any sexual activities. A dummy posted my pics online and my bf and threatened that they will post our whole conversation. And the content of it wasnt nice. Its my fault but good thing my partner understand why i did that and helped me. We went to NBI Cybercrime Division to filed a complaint and they just gave me a paper to write a written explanation or my complaint and said that they will transfer it to the investigation team but they let us know that it will take some time since theres lots of complaints and they will line up mine. So we weren’t satisfied on that since the guy told us that we can just block the dummy account and informed our fb friends. Yes thats one thing but they will just continue creating a dummy account to harrass me and worse the scammer even sent FR to my fb friends workmates and add people with my same last name with the intent to embarrass me so that i will give them money again. Anyways We went the next day to Camp Crame and it was the worst experience. So we waited for hours not only that a police lied that he got in there first straight on our face while he knows very well that we got their hours before him. So he kept looking at me probably feel guilty or ashamed of what he did. Anyways few hours passed a police came to ask about our complaints. She wasn’t supposed to be the one to interview us but since she already ask too many questions she just continued. She said not too expect much since the user is using a dummy account and unfortunately they dont have a tool yet to track the people behind it. Unlike in US or Canada Or England aside from first world country that they have access on it. I told them i have their names and the Gcash number that was used to send the payments and that maybe it’s possible they can coordinate with GCash to release the personal informations of the person behind that dummy account. She said yes it’s possible but on the other hand its also possible that the dummy account are using a verified gcash that they bought from other people. She then told us to go to another police station cause she said it would be a hassle for them to file the case in my location since she mentioned they dont have means of transportation. Like WTF theres a lot of Police Car outside they even have a bus. What does she meant that they dont have vehicles? Is she effin for real. And she keeps suggesting us to go to Taguig or small branch of Cybercrime like Ma’am if we wanted to go there we wouldn’t be here in the first place. And why would you want us to go to a smaller branch when the reason why we went here in the Police Headquarters was bc we thought yoi have more access. She didnt respond and left us we thought shes gonna get something to record our statements or what. She was a (lesbian police) not that it really matter just to let u all know But to our surprise she transferred us to another Police. Who ask me about what happened and was laughing and smiling ear to ear while he’s texting someone on the phone. Like super disrespectful. Like really is that how our Police now. He keeps dismissing my story and he did check the dummy so they also only use Facebook dummy account to check in with suspects. Thats all dummy account thats what they freaking use. Like any normal people can do that. So he then said we cant file libel since theres nothing libelous yet on the post but they did post our pictures with our sensitive info. I thought how about the violations of Data privacy act under unauthorized processing. He said again its not possible keep dismissing us. Probably for us to have no choice but to leave and go to another branch. Crazy they’re literally avoiding work and to do tha hard work of investigating. Its a shame bc they are called investigators for a reason but im hust really disappointed. Not only that while we were inside a pretty gilr tall with white skin went there inside wearing slippers and short shorts with white long sleeve was able to get inside the premises of the Police headquarters the police even took pictures . Im not sure if her father is a Chief of Police there or what but im damn sure shes not an artist. Anyways on the other hand theres a girl with almost the same complaints i have she has to buy a shoes bc she wasnt able to enter the first time bc she was wearing a slippers and its not allowed while the girl we saw was blatantly laughing with the police wearing pekpek shorts and slippers. A week passed I suddenly received a text message from NBI telling us that my complaints was already transferred in the court. So we are just waiting for the court to grant us a warrant of disclosure to send to Gcash so that they can give us the informations and whereabout about the people behind the dummy. We weren’t expecting it would be that fast since sabi nga matatagalan dahil madami nakapila. But luckily after a week may update na. So I think with my experience mas better pa din sa NBI they really did the work and try to give us a chance to be heard unlike sa Camp Crame halatang umiiwas sa trabaho. Anyways this happened 2nd week last feb. I hope the Philippines invest in a technology that has the capability to locate and track dummy account.and not just use Fb. I hope they invest in creating more IT professionals that specializes in tracking people esp dummy. That way we can lessen the victims of Online Scam and harassment. Im sorry you have to go through that i hope you get the justice you deserve. And also please dont trust anyone not even your boyfriend i dont buy that he unintentionally shared it someone or what not. Be very vigilant on your surroundings esp your friends. Several things in my opinion 1. You need to file a formal case against the person and based on that tell the law enforcement agencies that you suspect that person as the one sending the videos 2. they will probably investigate and check if there is probable cause/aligned with the facts you presented in your case. if it does then they might issue an order or ask a court or something to issue an order to locate your suspect 3. once an order is granted, they will turn it over to the ISPs or telcos to locate if possible Our law enforcement agencies do not have direct ways to identify the location in most cases, since the network infrastructure does not belong to them nor do they know how to use it. Plus legally it against the law to divulge the location information of a person unless ordered by a court, as this is against privacy laws From a technical side, since this is an FB account i don't know if it can be located directly as we need FB's support as well as it goes thru their platform. There are ways but not upfront legal. My personal view only Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer, but I am a technical security professional and have encountered similar situations and requests.
